Noodles, empanadas and service are all incredible. This place is a gem and the owners are lovely people. Just be warned, their hours aren’t necessarily accurate on google so maybe call before you come. We structured our day around getting there before 1:00 so we could take things home before our flight, showed up at 12:40 and they were closed. So just make sure to call ahead.
Authentic Argentine Empanadas. Great selection of homemade pasta and sauces, reasonably priced (for Aspen). One of the best tiramisu I’ve had.
The best pasta and dessert!! (not just in Aspen like ever!) Our Uber order was placed on the later side for them and they we’re so kind about it. My friend finished her large pasta in five minutes it was so good! Once you see the size and quality of the dish the price is in the low end. The restaurant may look small but the flavor is all there! Thank you again <3
This review is long overdue but my pastry was so memorable that I couldn't bear the thought of not sharing about it...Once upon a time there was a swanky barbecue potluck being held at the Widget apartment compound. Everyone brought scrumdiddlyumptious morsels to eat but nothing was so delicious as the tiramisu that was hidden away in the refrigerator almost forgotten. Before I took my leave of the festivities I had to have a piece.
From the first bite I knew I was in love. Many a tiramisu has passed the threshold of these lips, but, this my friends has been the best of them all. From the generous dusting of cocoa to the perfect balance of cream and lady fingers this cake is sure to impress. A delightful desert dream of divine destiny demands distinct devotions. Thank you so much! I greatly look forward to making an in person visit =)
We came upon this place by chance, but we were so glad we did! The food is incredible and amazing. We met the owner and his family, they were so nice and welcoming as well. Our family went to tons of restaurants during our trip in Aspen/Snowmass and they were all over priced and gross. Francescas was by far the best restaurant we had eaten at throughout our vacation and served some of the best Italian food we have ever eaten before. For the price you pay it is so worth it, it was roughly $16 for a gigantic plate of pasta. At every other restaurant we went to all of the things we ordered were worth $20< dollars and the portion were incredibly small and were mediocre, we were surprised when the amount of food we received was actually more than what we expected in comparison to the previous restaurants we had eaten at. Everything was amazing: the food, the service, the workers, the price. We wish it was possible to give it more than 5 stars! If you are considering eating here... do it, you won’t regret it! (Also get the Flan and pappardelle with Alfredo sauce, they’re amazing!!)
Delicious empanadas that we order regularly for our group lunches! We have also loved the lasagnas made especially for us and always look forward to new creations! Fresh and homemade!
I first heard about them offering free pasta to help the community at the beginning of COVID shut downs. First off this was incredibly kind, the staff were amazing and offered me some fresh pappardelle as soon as I walked in. I then bought some of their homemade bolognese sauce to go with it at their recommendation. I kid you not... it was the best pasta and the best bolognese I have ever had. It was incredible. A seriously underrated hidden gem in the AABC.
Martin is wonderful to work with. I have ordered his Lasagnas several times for feeding larger groups. They are a big hit! I just make a salad and have no stress! My kind of entertaining.
