I live on 33rd st by this cafe and I really enjoy stopping by on the weekends to have my cup of cappuccino and people watch with my dog. The coffee, donuts, and food are pretty good and the people are nice.

Love this cafe. Ambiance gives me the feeling that I'm enjoying my cafe in a small town in France, the food/drink are always fresh, and the baristas are warm and personable. So happy this independent spot is alive and well in Astoria!

Wonderful barista plying the arts of fine coffee making there. The serious coffee imbiber will relish how Madame Sousou NYC crafts a perfect cup without magic markering your misspelled name or waiting in line. Ahhhhhhhh

Just passed my Board examinations at Madame Sousou! Took all four parts at the same table every week. Thank you to the cafe and staff for always being so welcoming. Coffee and sweets were amazing

Great neighborhood spot. I love their matcha and chai latte. Sandwiches are also good! Sometimes struggle with finding a seat, but that happens everywhere. I also love their accent wall decorated with different colorful plates

A cute artsy coffee shop with great coffee and good desserts/sandwiches. Service is quick and the location is very clean. The wall of artsy plates and circus act dog gave my wife and I a chuckle. I would go here regularly.

This place has some soul. Vibes reminded me of cafes in Paris but unfortunately NYC’s COVID huts don’t really do the outdoor spaces justice. Food and drinks are good, slightly pricey. Probably wouldn’t go for the simit sandwich next time. Unfortunately you will probably be subject to second hand smoke while you’re there, similar to other euro style cafes in Astoria, but that’s part of the experience I guess.

I just happened to stop by Madame Sou Sou this morning- I had never seen it before. But the service and coffee are excellent! They even have gluten free banana bread- can’t beat that. There is a delightful area outside to enjoy your beverage, I hope to stop by again.

This is probably the most charming cafe in Astoria. From the welcoming indoor decor to the outdoor seating options, Madame Sousou is the place to go to have a coffee and pastry, and unwind. Also, it's ideal for people watching if you sit outside. The service is second to none. The staff here are very warm and friendly! I ordered an iced cafe latte which was actually one of the best I had! I didn't get the pastries and sandwiches here, but they looked amazing. I'll definitely return!

Love their French bistro inspired music! So quirky and great. Had a ice cafe latte, it was good! My mom order the quiche and green tea. She really likes both. I will definitely be popping in more especially since their outdoor dinning is so nice. You’re right by the trees and everything. If I wasn’t doing a carb free diet this month I would’ve had their cheese cake. It looked so delicious!!

Cute cafe with lots of seating perfect for reading a book or doing some work. The staff were nice and I enjoyed the mushroom quiche - drinks and food could have been a bit hotter served but enjoyed my time and can see myself coming back

If I want to have a little me time with a cup of coffee, I usually come here if I nearby. I had a small cappuccino with almond milk (NO EXTRA CHARGE for the almond milk!!! Big plus) and sometimes I buy a sweet pastry (all the pastries are sooooo delicious and fresh) - some pastries are even homemade 😊 They have WiFi, clean bathroom and nice indoor outdoor seatings.

I usually get coffee or herbal teas... But today I tried the Turmeric Latte made with Macademia milk... Delicious if you love turmeric as much as I do! A nice cozy place with smiley people, both staff and customers. A new fave in the neighborhood.

My best friend and I stumbled across this cozy gem when another nearby cafe didn't have any available seats. Thank goodness because we really enjoyed this place. We both got tea to stay and were given our own teapots. We were able to get a lot of work done on our laptops. Staff was friendly and charming. They recommended we try the key lime pie. We're typically not into lime-flavored desserts, but we were sold. The green crystal sprinkles really added to it :) We'll be back!
