This is one of my favorite neighborhood pizza shops. I love the colorful design and good amount of seating. They also have a bigger room in the back for events. The have a good selection of pizza types. I recently tried the spinach and artichoke and it was fantastic! Very unique and delicious! Also love the classic margherita!!
I really did love the pizza but it was way too hot in the restaurant. With the oven on and the tight seating the indoor dining was uncomfortable. But must say the pizza is delicious š
If youāre hungry and just need a quick bite, get a slice of pizza here. I got the pesto and was charged $4. It was pretty good, Iām happy with what I ate. Iād come back again to try other flavors.
Got the grandma pie and the margarita pie, and both were pretty good.
šGrandma pie was good. Flavor was pretty good, sauce had a decent tang, only criticism I would say is that the dough is a little on the chewy side with not too much crisp. But overall solid grandma pie. The basil on top also gave it some nice flavor as well. On a scale of 1-10, Iād give their grandma pie an 8.3.
šThe margarita was very good. Nice delicious thin crust. Lots of flavor. No flop. On a scale of 1-10, Iād give it a solid 8.8.
ā¦ļøWill def order from them in the future. If youāre in the astoria area, def check them out š
I really enjoy this pizza, but itās a little inconsistent. Sometimes they cook the pie and char the crust beautifully. Other times itās just about cooked. Toppings are either plentiful or they are running low and skimp out. It tastes great and itās a good price, too.

Not bad for a chain place. The slices were good and the rigatoni with the vodka sauce and grilled chicken did the job. I'd go back there.
Everything is great, from the pizza, to the subs to the pasta. Been ordering online and visiting in person for years, best pizza in Astoria. Love the Eggplant Parm and Veggie Balls.
For my first visit I was quite impressed by the quality of the food in comparison to the price. I ordered as part of their daily specials, the pasta with truffle gravy and an order of homemade chips. Can you believe it only came out to $7?!!! The pasta dish was so delicious and had plenty of truffle gravy. And not many places idea truffle gravy on their menu. The homemade chips were nice and paper thin with just hint of salt and pepper. The restaurant itself if very cute with about four tables. There's also an outdoor area in the back. I can't wait to go back and try other items from their menu. And like I said they offer daily specials Monday to Friday. I'm already planning on getting the Wednesday special which is a choice of hero sandwich.
Times are tough during COVID-19. So itās a special thing when you see a new restaurant try to open up in the area. After the closing of the old pizzeria Politoās in this spot, I felt really warm inside when I saw them putting up signs for a Slice pizzeria in the same location.
From the outside, the place looks very sleek and welcoming. It also really helps to draw people when you have a great deal like they do where you get a slice and soft drink for $1 if you follow them on Instagram (IG). My wife and I decided to give it a go on a cold š„¶ Saturday winter night.
When we got in we popped out our IGās to show weāre following them. After doing so we went ahead and placed our orders. The special only gets you a regular slice, so we also got pepperoni slices as well. They had to make a fresh pie because they ran out of regular slices, and the wait time was a bit more than I expected (15 mins).
Notably, the cashier gave the proceeding customers a punch card. I had to be proactive and ask him to give me one. I think they can do a better job here of consistently offering the card to all customers.
Eventually we got our slices and soft drinks and were on our merry way. The pizza itself was really good. The sauce is definitely on the sweet/tart side of the pizza sauce spectrum. The cheese and crust are definitely classic NYC style and on point. The pizza is definitely a greasy one, and itās something I really like in pizza.
Drop by this place! Itās conveniently located by the R steinway station.
Slice in Astoria is the best Pizza! All of their dishes are delicious. Good Cooks! And the staff is friendly. I eat there at least once a week.
A taste of NYC in Astoria. Pizza is fresh delicious and prices are reasonable. To make them even sweeter, they have a deals on Groupon which make coming back that much easier for a pizza fiend like myself. After getting a slice or two, be sure to try their wings
Pizza isnāt bad for $2.75. It has a nice dining area to eat. Employees were helpful and friendly.
First of all, I got a magent to remind of the deals through out the week which is genius for someone who LOVES the honey garlic and hot wings from here. The meat is perfect. Comes with delicious blue cheese. Delivery was right on time. I love this place. My fave wing spot!
