Staff is very nice & respectful. The food is okay but abut hit and miss. The Dan Dan noodles and crispy chicken was tasty. The chicken fried rice tasted like pre made rice and the dumplings were a bit bland. Could've been better.

The food is tasty here. I really like the pork soup dumplings. But the salted chicken was very yummy, pork belly bao tender, and the scallion pancakes are the best mix of crunchy texture and gooey inside. The only thing I haven't really liked was the seafood soup dumplings, but that could just be preference. The place is small. But we had no problem finding a seat for lunch on a weekday. Salted chicken this time was definitely pork.

I am SO happy I tried this place! I'm definitely not the first to say that there aren't any good Chinese options in Astoria. HOWEVER, Bund on Broadway has saved my Chinese flavor craving taste buds! Since moving to Astoria from eastern Queens I had basically given up on Chinese food because other than this place they're pretty terrible in Astoria. Did I mention their soup dumplings, dim sum, and noodles are hand made?? THE DETAILS: * Pan fried pork buns - These are REALLY good. The dough is soft but crispy on the bottom (vs other places where it's dried out) and it was literally dripping with the meat sauce when I bit into it. The sauce also wasn't bland like some other places. * Dan dan noodles - This is so interesting. I've actually never had this noodle dish before so I wanted to try it and the flavor profile is quite unique. Definitely recommend giving it a try! * Spicy beef udon noodles - My boyfriend loves udon noodles so he opted for this dish. Other than the fact that he said they could have been spicier (but he has a really high spice tolerance) he still said they were REALLY good and this is the only place we can get Chinese food in Astoria (lol) *Zongzi (sticky rice with pork wrapped and steamed in a banana leaf) - We gave this a try and it was very nostalgic for me. The rice was a little wetter than I'm used to but that might be me thing? Overall very tasty. Wish I got the salted egg one though! *Matcha sesame balls filled with red bean paste - Oh my gosh I've never had this in matcha form. I always remembered going to dim sum with my family and getting these from the push carts but this is a new take on them. They were still warm when we got them (we did delivery) and they were delicious! If you liked sesame, red bean, and the stickiness of mochi, you will love this dessert! I'll be ordering again to try their cold sesame noodles next! Take my advice and give this place a try (and check out the yummy photos)!

Nice local finding Astoria. It was a slow night, only a couple of the tables. The service is quick. Food came out hot one at a time allowed me time to have some before going on to the next item. To soup dumplings were tasty and held together. The beef stew noodles had the right amount of chew and taste. Only thing I think would have made it better would be stronger hot sauce or chili oil. What they had is flavorful but not very strong. With the trip back to try some of the other stuff.

Fantastic scallion pancake beef roll. One of the best I've ever had. The pork soup dumplings were good but the broth was a little too fatty for my taste. Service was wonderful and it's a pretty nice place to sit. Would go again!

Go there twice continuously in two days. Of course because it’s sooooo delicious! For the first day, we just passed by and not expected this small street side restaurant is a hidden gem! The food just bring my thoughts all the way back to my hometown… So we went there the second day, and ordered different stuffs, also amazing. Definitely will go again. 👍

Came in on a whim for lunch and so happy we did! The food was great and the service was really quick. Fantastic no-frills spot that looks like it’s been a staple in the neighborhood for a long time. Only have one photo of the chive dumplings (incredible) but we also got the spicy beef, scallion pancakes, roast duck buns, and Dan Dan noodles. Definitely a must-visit!!

Guys, if you don’t want to go to Manhattan or Flushing to get soup dumplings, I strongly recommend this restaurant! Soup dumplings are great! Especially, the shrimp soup dumplings are amazing. The black dumplings are great aslo. However, I am not sure about noodle dishes here. But dumplings are yummy!!!

I’m from Shanghai and ordered delivery. Authentic and yes super flavorful! Haven’t had such tasty soup dumplings (Xiaolongbao) for years in the State. Great portion as well. The chicken I ordered is based on Shaoxin wine and I love it! Might be a bit strong for those who haven’t tried it. Highly recommend, especially if you enjoy authentic Chinese food, instead of American Chinese food.

Ahhmaazzzing! I’m sure it’s culturally wrong to eat with hands but I just moved and do lot yet have silverware. The dumplings, especially the soup dumplings, are out of this world! All the food is not only tasty but also beautiful! Better than so many places I’ve tried in NYC known for their dumplings. I highly recommend!

If I could give a 4.5, that would have been my first choice but then I would have brought it down to a four (as it is) because of uncleanliness - see photo. If I were in the neighborhood, I’d probably go here a lot, but as I am not, it’s not worth going out of the way for. We had the wontons with chili sauce and the pork soup dumplings. Everything was just *okay*. Our soup dumplings were served without the lid which meant they cooled off way faster and therefore broke as we picked them up. 💔😭 I’m used to restaurants serving them in the basket WITH the lid. Also, inside the basket, as photo’d, you could see old dumpling skin from a previous order stuck to the basket wall. Not very appetizing.

Astoria is a culinary neighborhood, and it has its fair share of good Chinese restaurants. The soup dumplings here are probably just like in Flushing. They also have a good selection of noodle dishes.
