Nice little bar and diner in downtown Astoria. I had the breakfast and it was great. I recommend the biscuits & gravy. My server was nice and attentive. I got a kick out of listening to the old men in the booth next to me talk about the town news and goings on. This is a place where you get to see the real side of the town.

I came here to eat while visiting Oregon from Mississippi. This place was so welcoming and the staff were very friendly. The food was amazing and so are the prices. I got the chicken melt, it was delicious! My aunt got breakfast, she loved it as well. This place was a place I’ll always remember since visiting! I hope to return one day!

What an absolute hidden gem! Stopped for breakfast on our way out of town and searched the closet place to us that was open and this showed up. We decided to give it a try and I’m so happy we did. V (waitress) and Dave (cook) were so amazing. They were so kind and engaging with every single customer in there. That mixed with great food and such a fun atmosphere made this an awesome dining experience. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be going again next time I’m in Astoria.

The service was super friendly, and the food was exactly what you would expect from a simple diner-like experience. We had the croissant sandwich and simple eggs and toast - all cooked perfectly, exactly as ordered and delivered in a timely fashion. The price was very reasonable, and the overall experience was beyond what I expected from the initial rating.

This is a really nice little place with traditional counter service. The menu is classic Americana done expertly. Great burgers and killer fries. My favorite so far is the grilled cheese and tomato on French bread. Yum! They have a full service bar and a small stage in the back. This place is steeped in the history of early Astoria and it’s a good read about the role they played. I also enjoy the fact that it’s just far enough off the downtown cluster (a mere two blocks), that a line out the door for a seat is rare. Don’t miss this place if you’re searching downtown for a bite to eat when it’s crowded!

Classic American diner/bar with a strong local vibe. There's pinball in the back, where they apparently have live music at night. I sat at the counter and had coffee with a small yogurt with granola and blueberries on my way back from the beach. The guy next to me had the special, a platter of bacon-infused pancakes. My pitstop was limited but I'll definitely stop when I pass through again.

This is a basic diner in the best way! Awesome breakfast and it has a great bar as well and live music at night. I absolutely love the atmosphere here. Down home and friendly.

Omg so good. We were a little apprehensive at first. But it was so worth it my husband had a kitchen sink omelette with hash browns and he said was absolutely delicious my daughter's had pancakes that they said with light and fluffy and perfectly sweet. The atmosphere is calming and chill. Definitely a must have if you're in the area.

Food was fine. Super busy and very slow, but understandable.

OK, first, there are many places in Astoria that serve a good to great breakfast. Plenty of places. However, the Labor Temple serves "the best breakfast in town", and that's a fact. Besides the great food, friendly service, and affordable prices, there is the history of the place. The men and women of the labor movement made Astoria, indeed the nation a decent place to work and live. Sit a while in the Labor Temple, enjoy a good honest meal, and remember our labor unions proud stories.

Homemade diner style food, quick and friendly service, I love it! It’s cool to see the old photos on the wall from its hey-day. The bar area in the back is surprisingly spacious and looks like they do tons of events. Prices on menu are perfect for diner food. Thanks to Terry and Todd for saving history in this cool place!

Very good food. However, we sat for over an hour patiently waiting for our bill. The waitress said she assumed she already gave us our bill, they weren't busy, not sure how you can forget when you had less than 5 patrons total during our visit. Fun old historical building.

The first time I came here was for a comedy show and I made my Mom cry... so there's that. I told a joke where I made the whole place call my dead grandmother what she really was... not a nice person. So they were happy tears, you can ask her. So aside from crying mothers, what can you expect? Well, a pretty good time. Labor Temple is the perfect mix of vintage cool, without being outdated and cliche. I'll be honest, they had me at the neon sign though. If you're looking for a good hot meal, go here. If you're looking for amazingly talented performers, go here. There really is no reason you shouldn't go here... like now.

You won't find better chocolate chip pancakes *anywhere*. Everything about this breakfast was perfect. Bacon was awesome, eggs expertly poached. Good portions and very affordable. Staff was amazing. Just all around outstanding.

Nice spot with food and live music. The stage is in a separate room but you can hear it throughout. Looking forward to returning!
