Kenneth provided us with some of the most exemplary service I've ever received at a restaurant. On top of that, when the manager checked on our table she actually asked detailed questions about our meal. This made us both feel like she genuinely cared about our experience. The atmosphere is truly stunning and the views from the dining area add a lot of value to the dinner. Drinks were well prepared and portioned, and the food is a show stopper. I have a few critiques here and there about the food, but that could be caulked up to personal preference. It's a great restaurant with a great staff and I look forward to trying it again soon.

Was surprised here for my birthday last month and it was gorgeous! They went all out with service, table was covered in confetti, had a birthday card, dessert came with complimentary champagne and was given some roses 🥰 Beautiful experience! And the food was delicious with generous portion! Got the steak oscar and a lobster bisque which had a full lobster tail in it! Definitely worth it ♥️

I had my first visit to the Capital Grille today, and the service was absolutely flawless and phenomenal. I'm giving a mostly positive review here solely for the exceptional service provided, especially our waiter went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. However, to address the elephant in the room, I was very disappointed that my NY strip was cooked incorrectly twice in a row, the first being overcooked and the second time the center was just not even warm (Our waiter did take it off from our check). On the bright side, the appetizer, seafood, and dessert were outstanding – the lobster tails were fresh and perfectly cooked, and the cheesecake and the chocolate cake were not too sweet, balanced to perfection. But again, the inconsistency in the chef’s control of the meat temperature merits serious attention, as it detracted from an otherwise promising dining experience.

I had my mom’s 60th birthday here in the private room. It was such a beautiful event. Dione and Melissa was so helpful during this process. The serving staff took great care of us during the event, the food was excellent. I loved the filet, the food was hot and perfect. We turned this room out! We catered it to our party, we decorated, had a singer & a saxophonist come in and play for our event. They provided the two tv’s for us to play our slide show, we built a balloon arch, everything was just so amazing. This was the perfect place to have our party. I highly recommend booking the wine cellar room. We had 34 people comfortably with the table running straight down the middle of the room. The Buckhead room is photographed also, we had that room at first, but changed because it wouldn’t have been comfortable for our 30 original guest. This was an excellent turn out!

We came to Atlanta to celebrate our 25th anniversary, having been married in Atlanta in 1998. We were looking for a nice, upscale place to eat a quiet dinner. We originally looked at a Brazilian steak house, but there were no reservations available for the time we wanted. I looked at other restaurants nearby and was very intrigued by the Capital Grille. I was happy to secure a reservation the same day I looked it up! We had a bit of trouble finding the place…we parked in the parking garage, but the exits to the main level/shops/restaurants weren’t well-marked, so we got a bit turned around, but managed to find our way to the restaurant. We took the elevator to the 8th floor, and were pleasantly surprised by the immediate ambiance of the place. We were greeted immediately. Our reservation checked, the hostess went to “ensure our table was prepared”. Within a few minutes (before the appointed reservation time), we were led to our seats. Imagine our surprise when the lovely table for 2 had a rose, confetti, and a card for us! Can I just say we had THE BEST EVER server. Jeff went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He was entertaining, precise, and wonderfully theatrical in his service, and we loved every minute of it, which was well-reflected in his tip! Our cocktails were well-made and presented with great flourish. I ordered the tenderloin and lobster tails; my husband had the 10 ounce filet. We also ordered asparagus “for the table” which allowed us to share it. When our food came out, we were happy to see the steaks were cooked to perfection. My tenderloin practically melted in my mouth, and the lobster tails were sweet and tender. The asparagus was delicious as well. My husband was very pleased with his filet as well; it was prepared to his liking. Since it was our anniversary, we decided to order dessert; we chose the chocolate cake. It was truly more of a torte than a cake…rich, delicious, and served with fruit and whipped cream. Did I mention it was our anniversary??? Our dessert came out beautifully presented, wishing us a happy anniversary! And Jeff, the amazing server, brought two flutes of champagne to complete our celebration. It was one of the most wonderful experiences we have had…from start to finish! This is not an inexpensive restaurant, but definitely worth a special occasion or celebration.

It started off pretty rocky with the service. We went for my moms 60th birthday. There was a misunderstanding with a reservation contract. We had wait staff pointing and staring at us. Looking as if they were talking about us. Felt very uncomfortable. Being treated as if we were trying to get a free meal when we were trying to pay for what we ate instead of doing a minimum with less people than we expected to come. We still wasn’t expecting a big crowd of people…. Anywho… to make up for the issue, they gave us complimentary appetizers and switched out our waitress. They gave us Calamari which was really good and crab cakes. The crab cakes were good but they had too many pieces of shell in them. Even the remake had shells in them. Not sure if it was a rush job or what. Then we had dinner. My drink with dinner was mint lemonade. Not a strong mint flavor. Perfect mixture. Would recommend it. My steak which I ordered medium well was not that. There was 2 pieces. One was medium and the other was well done. I did not complain because things already felt off. I ordered asparagus with my meal. A few pieces were burnt but still good nonetheless. I tried the lobster Mac and cheese. It was pretty good. But my 16 year old daughter, the one who ordered it, didn’t like it. Our orders were slightly messed up and mixed up. Nothing too bad. We had cake. And took our food to go. They did surprise my mom and brother with a very nice gift card 😉. Because of how it started, we weren’t really able to enjoy our food like I know we could have. I’m not sure if I would come back for a do over. From what I ate, the food didn’t scream out “this is the best” or “they have the best”

What a genuine experience! The staff was amazing all-around. It's rare to find a place that can get "rare steak" cooked perfectly rare. The dry aged NY strip was great, and the lam rib chops were stellar. Tack on the flawless creme brulee and you've got a winner.

My chef Cooked my grilled tofu and roasted vegetables to perfection. Topped it off with sorbet for dessert. Service. Staff. Chef was all excellent. Will come back to Georgia again to this restaurant.

The food and service was exceptional! It was a pre- birthday dinner and they went above and beyond- they gave me fresh roses champagne and a dessert! Thank you so much Capital Grille! Food melts in you mouth!
