They know their business! Simple and delicious. I loved being in the back watching the chefs make the pizzas, while chowing down on a margherita pizza with pepperoni. My husband got one with lots of veggies and was in love. One size fits all pizza. Large with 8 slices each. A must eat!

My fiancée and I moved to GA about three months ago from Philly. I had been lamenting the state of my pizza enjoyment until I found this place. Drove 30 minutes to try it. 1000% worth it. Fresh ingredients, delicious dough, great flavors. I prefer a more well done crust but for the style it was stupendous. Can’t wait to make an excuse to come back. Thank you for making great pizza.

I went here because “One Bite” rated an 8.3 (best rating in Atlanta). I drove 30 minutes. The pizza was good and the atmosphere was good. Service was okay-ish. I ate the napoleon pizza. Could have been cooked a little longer.

Antico Pizza Napoletana is a gastronomic haven for pizza aficionados. Their Italian-style pizza is nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. From the moment you step in, the aroma of freshly baked dough and rich, savory toppings envelopes you in a warm embrace. Simply the best pizza in Atlanta.

I recently dined at Antico Pizza, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The wood-fired Margherita pizza was a true delight. The crispy crust had the perfect char, and the taste was simply amazing. Every bite was a burst of flavor that left me craving more. However, I do have to mention the parking situation, which was a bit challenging. With only four parking spots in front of the restaurant, it can be quite unreasonable, especially during busy times. Thankfully, we found a solution by parking across the street at McDonald's, which was convenient but not ideal. Overall, Antico Pizza's incredible wood-fired pizza and fantastic taste deserve a solid five-star rating. Just be prepared for the parking challenge and consider alternatives nearby.

It was my first time at Antico, but it was definitely not the last. The pizza is delicious, we had the lasagna pizza, and the Margherita pizza with pepperoni, they were both delicious, you can't go wrong if you choose any of these, or both.

Like many I put Antico on my list after seeing it was Barstools top rated pizza in ATL. Didn’t know what to expect going into the restaurant but left extremely happy. Once you walk you place your order at the counter, and then walk into the dining area/kitchen which is basically a small warehouse. The seating is family style 30ft long park bench tables and the kitchen is open air and right next to the dining area. An employee will bring you your pizza on a ginormous pan and you dig in. The pizza isn’t a thin crispy crust, it is a fluffy, moist, doughy, chewy crust. We ordered the Bianca and Margherita, both were fantastic. My wife favored the margherita and I favored the Bianca. The Bianca is made with buffalo mozzarella which absolutely made the pizza, it’s an extremely moist cheese with strong buttery notes. If I had it to do all over again I would try the “Sophia”. It seemed the Lasagna pizza was the most popular amongst the customers we dined with. There is a small toppings area by the kitchen that has oils, peppers, cheese, etc everything you could want, but you won’t need them as it is great as it comes. I would advise visiting at an odd time if you want to eat in store. We visited at 4pm on a Sunday and by the time we left it was packed. Great pizza, good prices, happy all around.

hands down the best pizza and we came from NY. Worth the hype 100%. $23 for a huge pie and order Diavola if you can handle a bit of heat. the char is perfect, and crust is chewy and not too thick or too thin. just the best. a must visit if you are intown. it's near GT but there's parking in the back.

Long time customer. Good pizza, good environment if you are dining in. We got the Margherita pizza for lunch. Good to share for two people. Had to wait a little as pizza is cooked to order. They also have a toppings station with garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil, spicy oil, chopped peppers and whole peppers. The peppers are pretty spicy.

Was in the area visiting and tried Antico's for the first time. Showed up at 3pm and had the pizza within a couple minutes. Went with a Capricciosa and the San Gennaro. Had a good overall taste. If I could only have one, it would definitely be the Gennaro. Excellent italian sausage, good sauce and so was the cheese. Neapolitan crust was okay, little doughy, thin pie overall, lots of flop. Hit it with crushed red pepper, parmesean and a little minced garlic. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it an honest 7.4 on a national level. Maybe a little higher for the area. Still likely one of the better options in Atlanta. Washed the pizza down with an Italian Peroni. Place wasn't too busy for lunch, service was good. No issues. Good experience overall.

Im from out of town and love tryin new pizza places ... I am so glad I tried this one!! The staff was very friendly, atmosphere was amazing with multiple families having nice meals, food was quick and delicious!! I got the "lasagna pizza" and it came out amazing with fresh toppings (leftovers were amazing in the air fryer when i got home later) ... may not be the best picture I apologize

This is hands down the best pizza I have eaten in years. Omg. I was fully satisfied with the flavor of this pizza. I am a NY pizza lover. This is the 1st pizza I have eaten in GA that I was speechless and fully satisfied! The fresh sides did it for me. The female upfront was not friendly at all, no smile, no welcome but the food made up for it. First time here and I will be back!

Antico Pizza Napoletana is a place that holds a special spot in my heart, and I've had the pleasure of visiting it multiple times, starting with my first visit back in 2012. Over the years, it has consistently delivered an exceptional pizza experience, and I'd like to share my thoughts on both the original location and the newer Battery location. Let's start with the original location, which exudes an unmistakable charm. Nestled in a cozy corner of Atlanta, it's a small, unassuming space that transports you straight to the streets of Naples. The ambiance is rustic and authentically Italian, with the wood-fired oven taking center stage. The aroma of wood-fired dough and bubbling tomato sauce fills the air, immediately whetting your appetite. Now, onto the pizza itself. The Neapolitan-style pizza at Antico is nothing short of extraordinary. The crust, thin and perfectly blistered from the intense heat of the oven, has a delightful chewiness. It's the kind of crust that makes you pause and savor each bite. The simplicity of their Margherita pizza, with its San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil, and a drizzle of olive oil, is a testament to the quality of their ingredients. It's a harmonious symphony of flavors that will make you appreciate the beauty of simplicity. Moving on to the Battery location, it offers a different experience. Situated in a more bustling environment, it brings a livelier atmosphere to your dining experience. The open kitchen concept allows you to watch the skilled pizzaiolos craft your pizza, adding an element of excitement to your meal. While the original location offers a more intimate setting, the Battery location caters to those seeking a bit more activity and energy. One thing I particularly appreciate about Antico Pizza Napoletana is their commitment to authenticity. They don't cut corners when it comes to their ingredients or preparation methods. The tomatoes are imported from Italy, the mozzarella is made in-house, and the oven is a custom-made masterpiece. This dedication to tradition shines through in every bite. What truly sets Antico apart is the passion of the people behind it. From the founder, Giovanni Di Palma, to the friendly staff who welcome you with warm smiles, their love for what they do is palpable. It's this love that translates into every aspect of the dining experience, making you feel like you're not just a customer but part of a pizza-loving family. In conclusion, Antico Pizza Napoletana is more than just a pizzeria; it's an institution that has perfected the art of Neapolitan pizza. Whether you prefer the cozy charm of the original location or the lively buzz of the Battery spot, you're in for an unforgettable culinary journey. If you're a pizza enthusiast like me, this place is an absolute must-visit. It's not just one of the best pizza places in Atlanta; it's one of the best in the world. So, go ahead, indulge in a slice (or several) of pizza heaven at Antico—you won't be disappointed

Best pizza I’ve had in Atlanta. Fresh ingredients and pretty fast service. Pizzas were large enough to share and have leftovers. Staff was busy, but friendly and helpful when asked questions.

Great pizza with fresh ingredients! Antico is an open kitchen where they hand make the pizza and cook it in the wood brick oven. There’s a station with ground red peppers in oil(Extremely spicy), minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, & red peppers. Thank you Antico!

Best pizza in all of Atlanta. Actually best pizza that I have had and I am born and raised in NJ/NYC. The toppings bar is the best especially the raw garlic. So good I had it 3x during my week trip! Highly recommend.

I enjoy it. I have visited maybe 8 times. Every time my pizza and salad are enjoyable. Sometimes I sit in at the communal tables (or the counter) and sometimes I take it home. There are many free, spicy toppings available at the condiment counter in addition to the garlic and salt & pepper. There isn't table service but you get to watch the cooks operate the pizza kitchen. Even at the current price of ~$23 for a pizza, I find it competitive against major franchise players, particularly considering the quality of ingredients and reliability. I guarantee that this location is an establishment worth visiting.
