I started with the French onion soup and I didn't know how to eat it with the thick layer of cheese. Tasty but too much cheese. The wedge salad was soggy and hard to cut. I prefer my bacon crumbled and not whole. The baked potato was delicious. The salty outside and the fluffy inside were a great pair. My husband and I shared the creamed corn, it was tasty. My husband had the new york strip and enjoyed the flavor. He also had the lobster mac and cheese. He said it was rich but good. Mark made our dining experience very enjoyable. He was polite, professional and witty! He topped off our meal with a chocolate cupcake which made our 16 year anniversary!

Went there Sunday night with a couple of friends for my birthday. Had Jeff as our server and he was fantastic. Really friendly and knowledgeable and his serving skills were top notch. Food was excellent and high quality as expected. Everything came out reasonably fast and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was really nice as well. Would definitely recommend and will be returning!

ONLY reason it's a 4 (really a 4.5) is because it's DANG expensive. My 6oz filet was $40! Crazy! I didn't take photos of the food because I was there for a business lunch. Haha The mac & cheese was really good! (Not on their menu) The filet was delicious. The creme brulé actually wasn't that great. It had a strange citrusy flavor, and the custard wasn't fantastic like I expected it to be. Bummer! Other than that, though, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was good.

The steak, and French onion soup were delicious!! The crab cakes were drier than we’d expected, but still tasty. The old fashion was great!

We enjoyed McKendrick’s. The bone-in ribeye was outstanding. The rest of the food was very good but not amazing. We also ordered the sea bass- it was cooked to perfection meaning perfect temperature but lacked adequate seasoning. The asparagus was also unseasoned. The service is very friendly and commensurate with the menu pricing. The servers do not go out of their way to clean your space after each course as they do at a higher end steakhouse like NY Prime or Capital Grille for example. If it is convenient they will do it, if not, they won’t. On average, a complete meal here is about 70-70 dollars per person not to include alcohol. The ambiance is superb and pleased us greatly. It is a gorgeous restaurant. There is a dress code So be sure to check it before you go.

We had the most Amazing time with our server Amber on our Anniversary tonight! Mr Harrison made sure we were welcomed and had the best seat available! The food was absolutely tasteful! We had the raw oysters! Crab cakes seared tuna, baked and rockafella oysters for appetizers. We had the bone in ribeye, porterhouse, sauteed mushrooms, creamed spinach and garlic spinach! The steaks cooked to perfection! We also had a top shelf long island and old fashion! Amber was such a pleasure! As other staff walked by the ensured our table was clean and even packed our food. The ambiance was nice! This steakhouse is HIGHLY recommended!

Our 1st experience at McKendrick's was 2 years ago. Our lead server, Paul Leonard, and his staff, were outstanding. The service, and the food, were the best we've had so we've been looking for a reason to return. Thanksgiving 2023 was our reason. The food and the service remain top notch. Our server this time was Mark Dodson. We saw the manager and the maitre d walking around and told them how much we've enjoyed both of our experiences at McKendrick's.

What a lovely atmosphere. I was instantly reminded of steakhouses back home. Our booth was so comfortable and in the perfect location. Our orders came out perfectly timed as our waiter Paul explained everything carefully and with patience. The food was delicious and we were so happy it went so well. I must say Paul was such a breath of fresh air. So kind, funny and a sweetheart. I look forward to our next reservation!

We visited McKendrick’s for my mom’s birthday and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Our server Paul was extraordinary, he recommended the very best dishes and was incredibly attentive! The food was delicious and the steak was one of the best I’ve tasted. Thank you Paul and wait staff for an unforgettable experience. We will definitely return.

Amazing, Amazing, AMAZING!!! Service was phenomenal. The bone- in Ribeye was perfect. Barbecue shrimp were huge. I welcomed the challenge of trying to fit an entire shrimp in my mouth. Sea Bass looked like a small portion but was more than enough and it literally melts in your mouth.

It was not my first time at McKendricks. My attoney and I were very disappointed that no bread was served. We asked the server repeatedly for bread. We even suggested toasted bread using the sandwich bread. For the price and known reputation we were very disappointed.

Great Steak everytime! I ordered the fillet and it was like cutting butter. I also want to try the bone in rib eye. The wait staff was very friendly. I mentioned the steaks but the sides are wonderful too. They come on a separate dish and are ideal to pass around and share because portions are so big. The mushrooms are cooked to perfection and large. I don't normally like corn but the corn dish was quite tasty. My fav side was the grilled asparagus. Can't go wrong there.

Very nice place with great service. Everything we ordered was delicious except for the lamb chops. They first came out very salty, which when we told the waiter he took care of it and bought another one. The lamb chops smelled very bad. My husband said it tasted ok but when he got home he felt unwell. Dont order the lamb chops. They comped our dessert for the salty lamb chops so that was nice.

The oysters were delicious, and my steak was cooked to perfection with the warm red center and skin with a nice crunch to it. Unfortunately, my wife shrimp didn't have much flavor along with the asparagus ( which they gave us a ton of), but the garlic mashed potatoes delicious

Food and the drinks were great. Steak was cooked exactly as requested and that in itself is a win. The service was wonderful and we were seated with empty tables between ours and the next guests (social distancing of course). Would definitely recommend!

Went here first time for Mother's day. Fancy restaurant and pricey, everything is al a cart. I had the bass and it was delicious. All the food was delicious and the service was good. Entrees are around $20-$68. The sides are from $8-$12... $9,for fries?! No thank you. I didn't find it worth $38 for my bass and $9 for steam veggies. But you are getting quality food. The veggies are bought locally and the seafood is fresh and shipped from the Gulf. Chicken is cage free raised so I give them that.
