Just had delicious meal at the tapas restaurant during my formal yearly holiday dinner with my coworkers! The meatballs and sauce are a flavor symphony, and the Brussels sprouts are a knockout. Oh, and the paella? Pure perfection. Each bite was a taste adventure. If you’re a foodie, this place is a gem you don’t want to miss! Oh the olive oil cake is amazing and must order.
nice tapas, great for sharing, and good atmosphere 🍷
Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The complementary bread is delicious and warm; it also tastes great with any of the tapas dishes that have sauce.
For tapas, we ordered the patatas bravas, spiced beef empanadas, scallops, crispy calamari, and mushrooms. All these were really good and are highly recommended 👍🏻
For the large plates, we recommend the chicken pimientos. The sauce was excellent and chicken was tender. The paella is not as recommended.
Drinks: the guns&roses Sangria is very tasty. It’s sweet and not too strong. The portion is big and worth the price!
Atmosphere : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Indoors tends to be very loud. The outdoor seatings are very nice and there are heaters they turn on around every table if it’s cold.
I hadn't had tapas in a while and found the menu for this place to be quite intriguing. I ordered the crispy calamari, salmon crudo, spiced beef empanadas, steamed mussels, local greens and herbs, and a half parillada barcelona. When I finally opened my packages after the long drive, I was surprised with the amount of food and how pretty the dishes looked for carryout! Normally, most places don't put the time and effort in, but they were quite attentive, and I appreciated that! The calamari was light and crispy, and the dipping sauce it came with was excellent. The salmon crudo and empanadas weren't bad, but I've had better. The salad was great and the parillada barcelona was excellent! The meat was cooked to my liking, and the chimichurri sauce paired with the dish was jam-packed with flavor! I could eat that by itself with any meat any day. The staff is super attentive, and the restaurant inside is nice, setting the ambiance for your meal. All in all, a very good meal and will come back next time for the full sit down experience.
We had a great time on a Saturday evening at this happening restaurant. It was packed, and we got a table after 45 minutes of wait. Since the restaurant were running behind time due to the rains. Anyways, we got the outdoor seating. Luckily, the heaters were on. We ordered Patatas bravas, spinach chickpea cazuela, salad, mushrooms, paella verduras, and lime mocktail with bay leaf. Food was delicious. Fav was the spinach chickpea cazuela, mushrooms, and paella verduras. The fresh bread that they served in the beginning was tasty as well.. they served it with olive oil and a side of hummus.
We ended the meal with cheesecake and chocolate lava cake. The chocolate cake was sinful 😍
Would definitely come back, but not on a weekend as it's totally packed.
Went to Barcelona for lunch off the Beltline. The outdoor patio seemed nice surrounded by fresh potted plants but we wanted air conditioning so we ventured inside to a high top table after being seated. It did take a while to be acknowledged but in her defense she was on the phone.. no servers smiled or greeted us while we waited. That's where they lost a point. Ordered a pitcher of sangria (delicious tho $30 for all that ice was annoying), enjoyed some delicious bread with olive oil and placed our tapas orders. Jodi was an absolute delight and the manager Paula (who was celebrating her bday) came to check on us and Jesus the second server, doubled up to make sure water glasses stayed full.. this attentive service redeemed the experience entirely. The venue gives a very industrial, moody, and dark vibe.. upbeat staff and music tie in with this Spanish influenced restaurant. The tapas were flavorful and tasty. I did send the beet salad back (tasted frozen and watery with not much of a beet taste) and didn't care for the chorizo and fig plate (bland sausage was overpowered by the syrupy fig solution) but everything else was delicious. Particularly enjoyed the chicken that seemed to have a peri-peri seasoning, moist and cooked to perfection with a hot mustard sauce. To me that and the sheep's cheese stole the show altho we had over $100 in tapas plates. Everything was seasoned well and reasonably priced (except for the pitcher imho) but overall a good experience. We were starving going in and had a food coma exiting so they definitely met expectations in feeding us swiftly and well. The large plates, specifically the paella was what I was after but they had a 45min wait time on large plates and I couldn't bring myself to wait that long so that was disappointing.. idk if I'll be back but I enjoyed the experience overall.
I came here tonight to grab some dinner while reading my book. I’m from out of town and I was dinning alone at the bar. The atmosphere was great. It was a great place to grab a bite, drink, some wine, and enjoy my book. The staff is incredibly nice and attentive. The food is amazing, some of the best spanish food I’ve had. It was like I was sitting in the gothic district in Barcelona. Their wine selection is amazing. I cannot recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back when I come to Atlanta again for work.
Perfect date night spot! Very nice vibes food was really good the “Patatas Bravas” & the “Spiced Beef Empanadas” were delicious 10/10. We had the Sangrias very good! Service was fantastic from hostess to server! Will absolutely come back !
My wife and I along with another couple visited Barcelona for our first time last week. We had a reservation for 7:30, however were not seated until 8:20. The host was apologetic and said it was due to a larger group that had not left. Once we were seated, the Manager came over and apologized as well and said she did not want our first experience to start off negatively. She also checked on us throughout the evening which was nice. Our server, Megan (who was amazing) also wanted us to have a great experience! She was very attentive, knowledgeable of the menu and offered suggestions which were spot on!
At the end of the evening when we received our bill, we were only charged $.01. This gesture went above and beyond to truly make up for a rocky start. We will definitely be back for the delicious food and service! Giving 4 stars for atmosphere due to high noise level in restaurant.
I had Vidal (V) as my server tonight and he was a delight. Very attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and he made sure I enjoyed everything I had. Trinity made me an amazing espresso martini and came to my table to make sure I liked it. Great service, great food, I will be back!
Nice tapas style restaurant with great selection and good food. The service and atmosphere was excellent.
Our waiter Chauncey and the most lovely female manager took wonderful care of my girlfriends and me Sunday night 12/17/23. Fantastic service, great cocktails and delicious food...even provided me with the hummus recipe as it's the best I've had. Thanks for making the holidays Merry and bright!
This place is always a win!! Their wine selection is awesome! The ambiance is sexy! Our server was super friendly, good energy, knowledgeable of the food and drinks, and made great recommendations! We had the Trout a La Plancha, Patatas Brava, Potato Tortilla, and Snow Peas. All of which were delicious. The seasonings and lemon on the snow peas was so freaking tasty! As for the patatas brava, I’d probably get the aioli on the side next time! Lastly, the wine was refreshing! I ordered the Riesling which was they were out of. However, my server recommended the Mila Albariño which is close to a Pinot Grigio and it was amazing! I loved the subtle sweetness, smoothness and crispness of the Albariño grape. All in all, it was a great end to our date night!
BTW!!! They are a cashless restaurant!! So bring your card!!
First tome here and the place is awesome. Large menu with large selection of tapas. The insides of the restaurant is noisy we set outside and that was great. The food is also at high quality, service is excellent!! 100% recommended!!
We had a lovely time sitting at the bar. The ambiance is very nice with the dimmed lights and decor. The bartender was sweet and my sangria was so good. The highlight of the night was the juicy half of a chicken that was cooked to perfection!!!!!
Amazing experience and the foods are delicious! This is my first time I tried Spanish foods with my friend from Spain. He said the foods are quite authentic. The service is delightful and all the dishes are really impressive. I love the atmosphere and it’s really pretty sitting both inside and outside
Great place! My friend and I were able to sit on the patio. Even though it was chilly outside, Barcelona had the tall heaters out. It was fantastic! Loved the food and the wine! The only issue was that the meatballs were a little salty. The bread was so good, though. Luna, the hostess, was awesome!!
Amazing food. Authentic tapas. Service here was great, food was amazing, and the atmosphere is delightful. Also a huge wine selection with glasses from 3 oz if you want to try several wines or 6 oz pours if you already know what you like.
Loved sitting outside, against the sidewalk, watching people while enjoying shared small plates with my husband. Had the samosas, albondigas, Brussels sprouts, potatas bravas, and meatballs. All had excellent flavors.
