Every aspect of Local Three is nothing short of spectacular. Their food is exceptional. The atmosphere is lively but intimate. Their waiting staff is personable and polite and their chefs are some of the best in the southeastern United States. This has been my favorite restaurant since I first stepped foot in the door four years ago and I couldn't possibly recommend any place more than this one.
Saturday and Sunday brunch with a unique twist -- you make as many passes as you like through the kitchen, where an array of tasty breakfast and lunch items are set out pipping hot, fresh off the stove or from the oven. Like the signs say by the doorways in and out of the kichen: "In Hungry" and "Out Happy." It's an artful combination of the best of small-plates perfection and buffet variety. Kitchen staff are welcoming and attentive, and the dining room attendants keep your table tidy and freshly equipped. The selection of brunch beverages is equally crafty.
As far as brunch buffets go, this is one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Setting the buffet up onthe line in the kitchen is fun, and it gives guests a chance to check out the beautiful kitchen. As far as the food goes, this is not your average buffet food. I would have ordered anything on that buffet as part of my entree. Quality, taste, novelty - it’s all there. Service is wonderful. They make sure to clear your plate and bring you a clean linen between each trip to the buffet. I definitely plan to go back to Local Three for brunch, and for dinner!
This is where I come when I want to impress my friends on an elequent down to earth level, this past New Year's Eve did not let me down either.
I normally come early in order to "get on with" my evening but we came at 9:15 & had the best, non rushed three hour dinner of 2016. It far exceeded 2015's experience!
Every special event that I have enjoyed here has been a true memorable experience, especially their brunches!
My wife and I just enjoyed the 8 course Chef’s table here!! We came into town to celebrate our 5 year anniversary and it was the greatest experience we have ever had at a restaurant. The service was wonderful, the food was wonderful and the chef was really friendly!!! The portions were larger and the wine pairings were spot on. We will definitely do this again!!! Loved it!!!
Celebrated my birthday brunch with my nearest and dearest in the KOR room. Food was fabulous (brunch buffet) and the dining experience was perfect. Love being in the kitchen with the staff- it's so fun!
Thank you to Alice for working with me to set up my private event. We had a blast and will be back again soon!
I am not sure how anyone can post a negative review on this place. My wife and I have eaten here no less than a dozen times. Service is ALWAYS second to none. The food is truly amazing every time. This is hands down our favorite place when you combine ambience - food and service - you can't beat Local Three!
Super friendly staff (not the hostess) but everyone else was amazing! The food was amazing and the ambiance really nice! Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

I booked the chef's table for my husband's 40th birthday. On top of it being beyond delicious, our server (Matt) was attentive (without being annoying) and hooked us up with some amazing adult beverage pairings with each course. Add in a couple of visits from Chef Hall and just wow! Could not recommend it more highly.
Celebrated Mothers Day with family and friends. We reserved the private room with the table for 10. We had a blast! Great service and the special Brunch was fantastic! Highly recommend Local Three for a five star experience.
A great spot for Sunday brunch, with a wide array of selections that you choose from the buffet line - which runs thru the kitchen.
Went for brunch after Church today. The food and service were both impeccable. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, as we had not made a reservation . I can't wait to brunch there again.
I had my mom in town visiting and we all went to have dinner here. My mom actually did her research and picked out this place. What a GREAT choice. Great atmosphere and great drink/wine menu. I had the “Hungry Man” and my mom got the McDowell. My wife and daughter got the scallops. Everything was delicious with good service to go with it. All in all, we really enjoyed our time there (almost 3 hours) and had a wonderful experience. We’ll certainly tell our friends and wi be coming back!
Great atmosphere, the employees are top notch, and the bourbon selection is outstanding!
It was my first time visiting Local Three yesterday evening for a surprise birthday party, which was held in the Bushwood room. Everything that we were served and drank was absolutely phenomenal! Got a tour of the kitchen, which is amazing and run with precision.
The Chef’s Table is the best dining experience we’ve ever had. This 8-course dinner offered by Local Three is nothing short of stunning.
For this experience, guests are seated in a private section of the kitchen. Each delicious dish is paired with a wine selected by L3’s sommelier.
If you’re looking for the perfect date night, or to shock your friends with some of the best food ATL has to offer, book the Chef’s table at L3. Don’t forget to arrive hungry!
First off, I will start by saying I was not offered a free visit to give a review. My friends and I were having a bday brunch and found this restaurant while we were scrambling for another choice as the initail brunch spot had some issues and we could not eat there anymore. This is just my honest opinion!
Parking: It is not as easy to find the parking lot, but they have clear signs about where to find parking. The parking garage has a lot of parking spaces and you can validate your ticket at the restaurant! So yes, even though it is a paid parking garage, it is free for paying guests.
Food: Since this is a buffet style meal, some items were a hit, and some were meh!. We were a party of five, and each tasted something different! Everyone loved the sweet potato and pastrami hash. The biscuits were smaller in size than what I am used to, but I think that was perfect, and the eggs were very creamy! Another hit at the table was the fruit and yogurt & the shrimp and grits ( the seasoning used was to die for). The quiche was cold, and the Mac & Cheese and turkey sausage were "so so." All in all, the food was tasty, and the only big issue I had was not really the taste but more environment. Since it is a buffet style, you have to go get your own food, which is located in the kitchen area. In this case there are certain things I prefer to leave to my imagination when I eat out just because of who I am as a person and so for me seeing that, I was not enticed to eat properly. I was just making it clear that the restaurant was not dirty and I did not observe any unclean practices, but because I was going through an active kitchen, I did not feel enticed to eat. Again, this is just a personal ick and one of the reasons I give the restaurant 4 stars because for that price point, I want all my senses to be wowed.
Drinks: The drinks were wonderful. Most people in my party got the Orange Mimosas, which did what it had to do. It was strong and just the perfect buzz for brunch.
Service: The service was good. We were seated pretty quickly, and luckily, there was no wait time. As soon as we sat, they took our drink orders, and then we went to eat. Throughout our meal, we were always checked on, and I really appreciated that!
Stopped here for drinks several months ago and really enjoyed the bar and decided to come back for dinner. Eclectic selection of cocktails which I loved! Great menu! I very thing we saw come out looked amazing! We had the Thai Asian salad and Beef & Broccoli. Both were delicious and we will definitely return for dinner again and try some of their other amazing looking dishes!! The Bourbon menu is out of this world!!
Wonderful evening at Local Three with two girlfriends. Great lively vibe, good music, and excellent service. Our server was incredibly helpful with food selection, cocktail suggestions, and wine. The entire eveing was perfectly timed. We had the cheese plate starter and each of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Aside from our server, the entire staff was helpful and welcoming. Five stars across the board.
I had the best burger and oyster rockfeller ever! The apple dessert was too cute.
This place is outstanding. You would not know it's here pass by, nevertheless, the Sunday brunch is out of this world. The service rivals that of being at a resort. The bartender, shame on me for not getting his name, made me a Brunch punch that only made my meal exponentially better! You want fine dining, this is it and you can sit outside on the patio.
Their location hidden away in an office building only adds to the "it factor" for these awesome folks. Amazing craft cocktails slung on a ever-evolving menu by a fantastic bar crew. One of the better whiskey collections in town. Food is always delicious and I'll encourage you to not overlook the McDowell burger over some of the more alluring options. It's a great cheeseburger you won't want to miss.
We came for our Anniversary and a dinner before going to an event. Alvin was awesome. We ordered the cast iron chicken, duck bolognese, and Truffle popcorn. The food was amazing. The service was just as good and they made our Anniversary feel special. Great cocktails as well. The CREAM was my favorite.
It's been a while so I can't remember the specifics but everything was delicious and great service. Oysters were fresh, love the nachos, the steak and the beignet. The ahi tuna is the only thing I didn't care about. A good selection of whiskey and wines!
The food and service was good overall, but, like others have said, this is a bit overpriced. The portions for $25 per entree for brunch doesn’t seem justified when it’s something you can get at any other brunch place in town for less without having to drive to a big office park with nothing else around it.
This location needs better wayfinding. The sign to Local Three in the parking deck by the stairwell is small, and the sign inside the office lobby is even harder to find. They do validate parking though! If you’re in the area, then this place is a good option for a nice brunch with friends.
We had the Chef's Table experience. We took a long walk to a table in the midst of the huge kitchen and then proceeded to have an 8 course meal over the course of 4+ hours. Drink pairings, tax, and gratuity were included. We were with another couple and the server Armand was awesome and time passed quickly. We enjoyed all the food and flavors other than the dessert which was just meh. If this helps anyone, we've had Michelin tasting menus in Europe, and the portions here, in comparison, were enormous, so be prepared to eat a ton of food or box up a lot of it. Highly recommended!
The specialty drinks were good but a bit too sweet for me. The oysters were a definite no--not good quality. However, the duck meatloaf and the short rib were amazing.
We were there eto celebrate a birthday party. We had a chef's table done. It was an amazing experience with 7 course meals. Each meal had come with a wine. The presentation was lovely.
Extensive whiskey list and great cocktails. Nice wine list. Food was great- from appetizers to desert.
It's a pricey place, but high quality. There's a lot of variety to choose from with the shareable plates as well as oysters, charcuterie, and cheeses. We had a couple and they were good, but a little pricey for the portions. On the other hand, the entrees all had generous portions and were delicious across the board. They have a modest selection of draft beer and a decent list of bottles/cans. Good list of wines too, but their specialty is clearly whisky, so it's a great spot if that's your thing. Service was very polite and reasonably quick. Overall I'd say this place is a great destination for a nice dinner in a fairly casual atmosphere.
Found this spot on a business trip. Atmosphere and food was great. It also helps to have a great server. Thank you Armand for the recommendations!!!

Definitely a little tricky finding the restaurant, and I feel like they can change up the decor / seating inside to elevate it and match how great the food was.
I do love when restaurants pre-split dishes when you say you’re sharing… it’s a great extra step.
The edamame was a very tasty appetizer, the sauce is highly addictive. The Thai salad was full of flavor and quite filling, the strawberry and avocado salad was good, but not much to it so it would get the Thai salad. The mountain trout main was delicious and the beurre blanc it was cooked in was perfection.
