Went here because the reviews said it was amazing. The reviews were RIGHT. We got Calamari, Steamed Dumplings and Spring rolls for appetizers. All of them were excellent. My daughter couldn't stop raving about the dumplings. The Calamari was fresh and not rubbery at all. Onto the mail course... I ordered General Tsu's Chicken and it was really the best I've had. It was crispy and not overly breaded. Sauce was light but flavorful. Other dishes ordered were Walnut Shrimp, Salmon, Salt and Pepper shrimp, Combination Fried rice and Curry Chicken. All the dishes were loved except The Curry was too spicy. People that ordered drinks said they tasted watered down. My complaint is the menu is very hard to read. My win, they validated parking... plus the great food. Also our server was super nice. PRO TIP: Pay attention to the bill. There was a "Service Charge" on the bill to get you to tip twice. Once for the SC and then a line for the Tip.

Hsu’s is worth a visit and its location couldn't be more convenient. The ambiance is inviting, and the staff is friendliness, adding a personal touch to the experience. The authentic menu is a delight for those craving classic, rich flavors and the food is freshly prepared.

A colleague and I ate here on our first evening ever in Atlanta. It was close to the hotel and sounded good. Upon arriving, everyone inside is going on and on about how it's an establishment, worth the wait etc. I ordered a French Martini. It was fresh and strong. A great cocktail. For starters we got the crab angels and steamed dumplings, both really good. The sauces were great, especially if you like ginger. We got the Szechwan style string beans with chicken and sesame chicken with fried rice for our entrees. The Szechwan chicken was so good and just spicy enough. The beans were were perfectly crisp. The fried rice was delicious and the sesame chicken was a classic. Would definitely recommend.

The best Chinese food I have I've ever had! It was such a relief to have my first bite and have a gourmet real Chinese taste! We've been looking everywhere for a gourmet Chinese, and we finally found it!! Great portion, good prices, and the food delicious! It's worth driving for, and we do return!

Not fancy. The menu maybe have not changed for 30 years, except the price is so inflation. No choice of the new fusion style Asian food. Very old school Chinese food, tastes OK, but pricey. Me and 2 kiddos spent over $100 for 2 courses and 2 soups.

My Husband and I were staying down the street for our honeymoon and we got super hungry so we decided to walk until something caught our attention. We walked in a few minutes before close, (I didn’t think to look at closing times before going ), and we were greeted by a super friendly and welcoming gentleman. He told us that they were about to close so they were doing to-go only. We were totally fine with that and placed our order. They got the food out super quick and we went on our way. Even with the 15 min walk to the hotel, the food was still hot and fresh by the time we got back. Overall a very pleasant experience and I appreciate the restaurant accepting our order even though they were closing up. I got sesame chicken and rice and it was some of the best i’ve ever had! Overall recommend this restaurant if you are in the area and looking for something to eat.

A decent Asian restaurant, there wasn't much to write home about with it though. The food was just okay, and the staff were friendly and the environment was nice though.

Amazing 🤩. Definitely a 10/10 in my book. I thought I had calamari until I came here. And the coffee (of course I am a huge coffee drinker) was also a 10/10. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone living or visiting Atlanta GA. Customer Service a 10/10. Thank you for a great experience 🥰🥰

First time eating here, she freely told us the service was running behind because she didn't have enough staff at the time. Well, that was NOT a problem. The service was EXCELLENT and not a long wait. I will definitely be going back.. The food was excellent, and I recommend the honey walnut shrimp. My son recommends the pineapple fried rice. 2nd trip here, DID NOT DISAPPOINT...this time the House Lo Mein was excellent, Mongolian Beef was perfect, and Sesame Chicken was awesome. Same as I before, I HIGHLY recommend coming here.

I thought the food here was good. We started with the crab angels, and lettuce cups.......both were great. We shared an order of the Mongolian beef. On its own, it was a little sweet.....but we asked for hot mustard and mixed it in, it was perfect! Service was awesome!!!!

At Atlanta, it is not that easy to find a Chinese restaurant in town. Hsu’s gourmet perfectly mixed traditional Chinese skills with U.S. taste flavor and the fried rice is absolutely delicious! This place is nearby AmericasMart so we can just finished a whole day work and just have dinner here. Highly recommended!

The food was wonderful, and even though it was a very busy night, we were seated within minutes, and the restaurant itself was beautifully decorated. What really made it though was the service. Every employee seemed happy to be there, and not once did I see a table sit empty for more than two minutes without being cleaned, or a customer have to wave down a waiter. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the Atlanta area!

We tried three dishes and they were all excellent, fresh, and flavor full. The atmosphere was incredible with beautiful carvings in recessed showcases. This restaurant felt like an old Atlanta institution, like it's been there a long time, graceful. The staff were friendly and kind enough to allow me to wait for my friends to show up, about 20? minutes. This may sound like nothing but Atlanta is typically not friendly to people that aren't obviously doing business, and may be trying to escape the heat, and for this reason their kindness means a lot. I've found a favorite Atlanta place, right along with The Majestic Diner!

Had lunch here while in town for my daughters volleyball tournament. I had to combination fried rice and it was some of the best I've ever had. A friend had the beef and broccoli and said it was very good as well. The pot stickers/dumplings were delicious too. The price was a lil high but the food is VERY GOOD and you are in downtown Atlanta. If you like good Chinese food definitely go check out Hsu's

Always a go-to spot during conventions in Atlanta. Food is delicious, service is great and staff are some of the best you'll ever get. If you're in Atlanta, try this place out. You won't regret it, and chances are, you'll want to come back again.

I’ve been going here since 1996 and it never disappoints! The manager is always there and very kind and welcoming. The food is always fresh and hot and tastes amazing. Over the years I’ve taken may clients and friends there and everyone always agrees it’s one of the best Chinese food places around!
