The Jamaican black bean cakes, quinoa paella, curry bowl, spaghetti squash patties, potstickers, and quinoa bowl are SOO yummy!!! My friend and I have been 4 times already, and this is our new haunt! My favorite is the quinoa bowl - quinoa with Brussels, portobello mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, zucchini, and cranberries, with pistachio-dusted avocado on top. (I opt out of the mushrooms and get double Brussels, so good!!) Also noteworthy is the herbal iced tea and fresh rolls. Service has always been welcoming, and there is patio seating for those who want it.

This was my first visit. I was off work and traffic was so backed up that I decided I would eat and then go home. I was looking for a nice vegetarian place and I googled and cafe sunflower was on list. C mlose enough so this is where I came. I walked inside was well greeted and sat. My server, Elaine, greeted me quickly and got my drinks. I informed her this was my first time and she made some wonderful recommendations. I decided to have the 3 bean chili, Sandy Springs eggrolls, and the stir fry vegetables (tempeh, tofu). Elaine made my first visit there very pleasant and if all the servers work as she, then you can't beat it. I'll see you soon cafe sunflower!

A very good atmosphere, the appetizer box was amazing as well. My brothers acorn squash, mothers pad thai and fathers eggplant lasagna were all phenomenal. The quinoa paella was not all that great though. It felt more just of steamed broccoli and spinach on a bed of quinoa. It was made better though as the rolls were delicious and the butter added that extra bit. Overall though it was good, very enjoyable. I'll just get something else next time.

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit here. Ambience was good, my service was excellent, free WiFi and the most important part, food, was fantastic. The burrito was huge and even after getting it down somehow I didn’t feel gross. The spring rolls were so good and flavorful especially in the sauce. I had the raspberry chocolate mousse cake and it tasted better than traditional. Great job!

Great food. Truly delicious and catering to several dietary needs. Even without any restrictions you could enjoy a healthy delicious meal. It's a little on the higher end and dinner for two could run up to $75 for two entrees, 1 app 1 dessert. Well worth it. You feel good at the end of this meal

One of my favorite vegan resturants! I had the faux "meatloaf" with whipped mashed potatoes and veggies. It was delicious! The only thing i didn't care for was the sauce, it was too sweet for my liking and just too much. Other than that, the obiance was relaxed and the staff was nice. The restaurant overall was clean and so where the bathrooms. We also ordered the mock Sweet & Sour "chicken" and the black bean patties, all were well made and tastyl! We will definitely go back in the future.

[update 5/18/19 lunch for 4, same as ever] Calm pleasant atmosphere, upbeat energetic servers, trendy, wholesome, positive, nutritious, tasty food. Carefully presented. Lovely iced tea, healthy. Sweet desserts, broad range of appetizer morsels.

I will give their place over 10 stars, we had the spring rolls, basil roll, eggplant lasagna & impossible burger & slice of carrot cake along with organic strawberry lemonade and regular lemonade. Can’t wait to go to location in Buckhead and try everything they have to offer to do a comparison. Will visit again!!! Everything was SUPER DELICIOUS Sorry had my carrot cake to go... it didn’t look like that when they gave it to me on the platedon’t judge me

Sunflower Cafe is a vegan restaurant, with only one meat dish on the menu in a shopping center at a buzzy intersection. At one when we went both the intersection and the shopping center were hopping. However, while Sunflower Cafe had plenty of costumers, we didn't have to wait for a table. Mom had the jurk black bean cakes and loved it (she was over the moon about the orange glaze). Dad had the macro steamed veg. stir fry with tofu and didn't care for it (the trend these days is to under cook veggies and he felt his were raw, we told him to send them back and ask them to cook them more but he wouldn't). I had two of the daily specials, mushroom soup and sesame seeds and soy chicken stir fry (see photo) both were good. My only complaint is that the menu didn't entirely reflect the food, mom's orange glaze wasn't mentioned and nether was the fact my chicken was a stir fry.

Coming from a loyal meat eater, the food was delicious. I didn't think I would enjoy it near as much as I did. The wait staff was helpful and attentive. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who asks.

When you think about vegan food, This is place is highly recommended. Staff is serving it in very well manner and food was awesome. You will find many american dishes in vegan category. Black Bean Quesadilla was my favorite. Will go back for their special dishes :-)

I am not a vegetarian. My friend is vegan so that is why I lunch here. The service was top notch, and that is the reason for the 4th star. Only 3 stars because the dish really lacked a development of flavor.

The restaurant of my dreams! Since becoming vegetarian its been hard to find savory, mouth watering vegetarian food until now.....

It felt like I was eating regular everyday food instead of the single vegan/vegetarian option there is at every other restaurant. The meals were well crafted thoroughly enjoyed. I had the sweet and sour chicken, the texture and taste felt like something I would get from a non-vegan Chinese restaurant. It's not super cheap but that makes sense given all that goes into preparation. The waitstaff was super friendly and knowledgeable and often suggested things that would go well with what we were interested in. I will definitely be back.

By far the best vegan restaurant in the South! The impossible burger is just that, and the use of spices makes everything delicious and flavorful.

Really great menu that is entirely vegan. The rolls and coconut cake were the highlights. I highly recommend the sweet and sour soy chicken and the quinoa burger with sweet potato fries. We will definitely be back to try more menu items. Would have given 5 stars but the service was a bit slow. However, our waiter was super friendly.

I came here with a group of people. There staff was really accommodating. I ordered the vegan lasagna and it was great. My wife got the sesame "chicken" and it was fantastic. It's not on the menu but it's available if you ask. Others had the impossible burger and were very pleased.

If you're vegan and want a variety, this a great place to go. I'm not vegan, but still love variety, and continue to visit this place for its flavors and creativity. I also appreciate the decor and service. One of the bathroom doors sticks a little. Parking during peak hours can be difficult, but that's my only complaint. Thanks for great food!

Simply fantastic vegan restaurant, I would enthusiastically get anything and everything on the menu. I've taken plenty of non vegans here as well and they were impressed that vegan food could taste so good. Nice people, great service, reasonable prices for high quality, unique vegan food, and I've never had to wait. Highly recommend their juices and desserts as well; their vegan carrot cake is to die for, it's my favorite vegan carrot cake I've ever had. And I've tried a lot of vegan carrot cake.
