High quality restaurant that is perfect for those staying at the hotel. Steak was cooked to perfection and the sea bass was flavorful. The glass of wine was a tad pricey but nothing to complain about.

I checked into the hotel around 4:45-5pm on a Friday night. Went back down to grab dinner at Sear around 6:45 thinking it was going to be packed, it was not. I was seated quickly and my server Carrie was excellent. I had the ribeye and mashed potatoes. The first one that came out was well done when I ordered it med rare. She quickly solved the problem and had another one made for me. I work in a restaurant so I understand these things happen. No one is perfect however it’s how the staff chooses to make it right is what separates other places. She asked if she could do anything else more me and I could tell it was sincere. That alone made up for everything.

Sear continues to be a good stop on the DragonCon ride. The food is good, but it’s the service and atmosphere that really shine. Thanks again for the themed desserts and amazing bread basket!

Title: Mixed Feelings About Sear at Marriott Marquis Atlanta I recently had the opportunity to lunch at Sear located in the Marriott Marquis Atlanta, where I'm a Lifetime Gold Elite Member with Marriott Bonvoy. The food was top-notch, matching the high standards you would expect from a Marriott establishment. The ambiance and seating were also as expected, providing a comfortable dining experience. However, my experience took a downturn when it came to the beverage service. Despite requesting a glass of wine, the server seemed unprepared and uninformed about their wine offerings. It took 15 minutes for her to return without a wine list, attributing it to another restaurant on the atrium level, which was quite puzzling. I finally settled for a "I don't know what I'm going to get" Sauvignon Blanc, which took an additional 10 minutes to arrive. In a city like Atlanta, internationally renowned and known for business lunches often accompanied by a glass of wine, this lapse in service was both surprising and disappointing. It took away from what could have been an entirely pleasant experience. Unfortunately, my feedback to the Marriott Marquis management went unanswered, adding another layer of disappointment to my visit. Overall, while the culinary experience was excellent, the beverage service requires significant improvement for Sear to truly match the Marriott standard of excellence.

Love this place. Beautiful hotel perfectly located in downtown Atlanta. The breakfast, is to die for. Every food option you can think of and all prepared to perfection. Service is amazing and the atmosphere is outstanding. The waffles, honey display, omelets, details in decor all perfect. # Bigdude approved 💪💪💪💪 #Bigdudereviews #atlantafood #atlantafoodie #atlantatravel Atlantabreakfast #atlantabrunch

Almost everything was really good. One complaint is a few of the plates were stained, not dirty but old stains (please do something about that). Upon arrival. were greeted by Anthony. He was nice and very personable, he greeted us with a smile and he also seated us. Our waiter was Sam: he was also personable, very nice and he checked on us several times to ensure we were ok. Reggie was our chef: he repeated our order to ensure his accuracy, smiled, talked and made us laugh several times and cooked our food with love!! We spoke to a manager named Toure: he was knowledgeable, he cared about our experience and he even asked what they could do to improve our experience. He assisted his staff with the tables, plates, etc. he is a great example of being a team player! Everything was delicious and we will definitely return.

Great Sunday brunch! Everything was delicious and a good variety of food to choose from. Our waiter was a little salty, but it is DragonCon weekend, so who knows what crazy stuff this guy has seen! Thanks for a great meal Sear!

This restaurant was the best I’ve eaten at while in Atlanta. I ordered short ribs and it came with green beans and mashed potatoes. Green beans could’ve been better but ribs and potatoes were good. Wait….but let me mention I ordered a burger to go. Y’all that burger and fries was so darn good I went back the next day to order two more but they were closed 😩. Huge healthy burger too. When I go back to Atlanta I’m most definitely going there.

Ate here on two occasions for their breakfast. The staff were very nice. The waffle was fantastic. The eggs Benedict were very lacking however, they were quite over cooked and the hollandaise couldve been better

Well. We are in Atlanta at the America's Mart. This is a semi annual trip for business. In the last 15 years a few restaurants have emerged as outstanding. One of those is Sear in the downtown Marriott, where we are staying. We are able to order and share. Of course none of that matters if the taste isn't above average. The use of seasoning here absolutely takes this place to 5 star. Service from Andrew (?) was outstanding. The manager also came over to make sure things were right. Another perfect experience for me.

Let me start here. I was in town for my birthday. I live in Michigan. So, this was my first time in Atlanta and at Sear. My wife and I really enjoyed our time there. I must say, it began with an old fashioned from their drink menu. Phenomenal. It was absolutely delicious. We both ordered steak. My wife ordered the Filet and I ordered the Ribeye. Both steaks were cooked to perfection. And the fingerling potatoes were AMAZING. They were crispy and salted perfectly. It is definitely in line with other fine dining establishments like Flemings and others. You will not go wrong, if you can afford it. Well done Sear, well done.

The restaurant in the hotel at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta is a wonderful place for dinner and the prices were reasonable. Our service was excellent (I guess that’s what you can expect in Georgia where everyone is so nice anyway). I really thought the portion size was great, big enough to share. my friends and I all ate here several nights because it was so good we decided to keep coming back instead of going to the other restaurants in the area!

My wife and I visited Sear on the opening night of DragonCon this year and simply don't know how we could have had a better experience! I got the cowboy ribeye and it was cooked to perfection and very flavorful!! My wife got the gnocchi and loved it! They had a special chocolate cake just for the convention and it was phenomenal also. My wife did say it was a bit too sweet for her, but come on, it's chocolate cake... can it really be too sweet?! Our server (and another server who dropped by a few times to check on us, and the assistant manager, and the director of food services) could not have been nicer or more invested in making sure we had a great time! We also watched the chef up front checking dishes for proper presentation and he was a perfectionist (which I appreciate)! Easiest 5 stars I've given in a long time! They left me absolutely nothing to find fault with!

Food was good, the bacon was thin and greasy but everything else was good. The service has lots of room for improvement. The staff was nice but probably overwhelmed with the breakfast crowd in weekends.
