Large servings, great deserts and they regularly have whole wine bottle specials. This is kind of your standard Italian, not so much Mediterranean.
You can find this location of Ippolito's Italian Restaurant at 6623 Roswell Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30328 - this is the shopping center at the corner of Abernathy and Roswell Roads anchored by Publix. Ipp's is on the left arm running perpendicular to Abernathy. One of my favorite Sandy Springs restaurants (and I have many) - this is my go to Italian destination in the area.

Awesome service and incredible food!. My wife and I decided to go to Ippolito’s on Roswell Road to get a drink and some to go food. We have been there before several times together. On that evening, Bill was the bartender and the manager on duty was Andrea. Bill made a perfect long island iced tea and made my wife an amazing martini. He was very friendly and answered all questions that we asked about menu items (my wife and I asked a lot of questions because we did not know what we wanted LOL) My wife ended up getting vegetables in meat sauce with sausages and meatballs and I got Baked Rigatoni in meat sauce with three meatballs. The meal was phenomenal (Best meatballs in Atlanta) and the service was even better. Every time we go there, Andrea always treats us and ALL of the guests like they are at home and we even got our wedding dinner catered from there in 8/2013 because we love the service and food so much. Bill remembered serving us over 6 months ago as soon as we walked in. Kudos to the Bill and Andrea for their incredible customer service and keep doing an awesome job.
I've lived half a mile from the restaurant for three years, and just tried it for the first time tonight. I am kicking myself! It is a great restaurant! The complimentary garlic knots are AMAZING, service was great, and my calzone was delicious and soft, with obviously very fresh ingredients. I will definitely be back.
The only criticism I would give is that they need to make it a little more exciting from the outside. We genuinely thought the restaurant was closed until we drive right up beside it and saw that the door was open. It was a shock to walk in and see fifty plus people dining when it looked closed from the outside.
Overall a good restaurant and worth trying!!
Going Down Hill. It is close and used to be a favorite place. However, lately the food has been so so and more often the food is not hot. The rolls are almost always mildly warm at best.
Service has gone down hill and they are slow.
Generic italian or whatever u call it. Nothing special but portions are good.
Yum. I can't speak for the entire menu, but the vodka sauce pasta dish that I had was tasty and the complimentary garlic bread that they serve is addictive!!

I have visited Ippolito's many times over the years and I have never been disappointed. The restaurant feels very intimate and warm. Ippolitos's is great for a family dinner or a date. They provide amazing complimentary garlic knots. The bread is freshly baked, and topped with butter, fresh garlic, and fresh Italian seasonings. They also provide a bowl of they're amazing marinara sauce to dip the bread in. We ordered an Italian sandwich with baked fries and Chicken & Spinach Canneloni. Both also came with small salads. The salads were fresh and are a good serving. I highly recommend their house Italian dressing. The Italian Sandwich was delicious. The bread was fresh, warm, and toasted. The sandwich is a hearty helping. The fries were also topped with fresh Parmesan cheese. The Chicken and Spinach Canneloni was amazing. The dish comes with three Pasta shells stuffed with cheese, chicken, and Spinach. It's topped with cheese and Marinara sauce. This restaurant is consistently delicious, and has great service. Definitely recommended.
I most enjoy the delicious
Spaghetti 🍝 & Meat-sauce. My family and I go there Once a Week and it is always fantastic.
