One of the best restaurants in Atlanta area. I can't find anything on the menu that is not awesome... even my picky kids would eat!!! Super yummy and you get to color on the table!! Great for entertaining kids and adults lol
Will definitely return. Fresh hot food and fast service! So many things to try on the brunch menu!
Amazing food and the sweetest owner/staff!! The best family friendly restaurant in Buckhead!!
Great food, great service and will definitely be returning. Truly a gem everyone needs to try!
We had my mother's 89th birthday at Nancy G's! They gave us the best service. The staff is friendly, kind and happily served us. The food is delicious. Our family loves Nancy G.'s !!!!
Consistently delicious food and great atmosphere. Highly reccomend.
Wonderful food and wait staff, owners Nancy and Colman make you feel like right at home. Love this restaurant!
Everything was amazing. Grits and biscuits were perfection! Came for brunch
My first visit...Loved it! The wait staff was awesome and the food was delish.
Loved it again last night. New menu is pricey but excellent fresh quality. Me and my doggie Gracie will keep coming back !
The food is always fresh and delicious and the service is superb. There is a great outdoor area that is perfect on nice weather days.
Great birthday brunch for my mom
This is one of the best restaurants in the Atlanta area. The food here is always cooked to order with fresh ingredients. Any dish you order is a great choice.
There are several people on the wait staff making for a quality experience. Any server you get rest assured that you’re in good hands.
The environment itself is clean and well run. The chef and owner is closely engaged with how the restaurant functions at a high level. I’ve been going here for years as my parents are locals and we’ve never had a bad meal or experience.
I recommend Southern Bistro with the utmost confidence ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👏🏾🐺
*My 1st try*
This spot is located in a safe area with plenty of parking. If I’m not mistaken you need to have a reservation. My husband decided to order Uber eats and I was like I know of that place. He ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Belgian waffle and chicken. It was delicious. The wings are big and flavorful. I ordered the pepper jack cheese grits, fried fish, and country potatoes. It was sooooo good and it comes with this sauce. I’m so glad we gave it a try. It’s local, decently priced compared to other brunch spots, and delicious. Please don’t forget to order those grits.
I’ve been here a few times and can say each visit has been excellent. The food, service, and atmosphere are top notch. My favorite brunch place in Sandy Springs.
First time going and didn’t know what to expect but was happily surprised. Food was great, we got the fried green tomatoes and the goat cheese and pepper jelly were a perfect compliment. I ended up getting the rise n dine chicken biscuit and it was great too, supper fresh and delicious biscuit. Got the cheese grits and those were fantastic too. To top it all off our server Sean was awesome, super friendly and great recommendations. Would recommend
Had a really wonderful experience here.
1. The food was all so good that I was really sad I wouldn't be in town longer to try more!
2. Service was also fantastic, our server went above and beyond to try and accommodate our family member with a gluten restriction.
3. Lovely atmosphere. The aesthic was really cute. For me personally, I loved that the noise level felt manageable at a very crowded time of day.
Came here for a Christmas lunch thrown by a place I work at. Let's just say that although my food was paid for, I will definitely be back and pay for it myself! Let me start my saying that I love reuben sandwiches. Seems like such a simple dish right?: corned beef (or pastrami), with sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, Thousand Island dressing on rye bread. Simple ingredients, but yet still oh so easy to mess up. If I ever see a reuben sandwich on a menu, I tend to order that as litmus test of the restaurant as a whole. Let me tell you, although not gigantic in portion size like a Katz Deli reuben, this is one of the best tasting reuben sandwiches I have had in Atlanta. Are there better ones in this city and surrounding areas? I'm sure there are, but I really loved the balance of ingredients in the reuben I was given at Southern Bistro. Besides that, I can only comment on what I had. The cauliflower soup was nice and the sweet tea was on point! Sweet, but not overly, diabetic coma inducing sweet. The deviled eggs were okay. Not bad by any means, but nothing to make them stand out either. Nothing to write home about as was the pimento cheese. Enjoyable sure, but just there.
The atmosphere was pleasant. Our party sat in the back and it was comfortable. It felt like we were eating on a friend's back porch (covered, thank goodness, since it was a cold day). Finally, we had a party of 18 and Khalea (hope I spelled that right) was awesome. The food came out promptly and was delicious. We did come at the end of the lunch rush so I don't know if that made the food delivery more prompt, but our party had a very positive experience.
This place was a very delicious experience.
Fried green tomatoes,
Southern fried chicken smothered in gravy with mashed potatoes and sauteed green beans,
Nashville fried chicken breast atop sliced Texas toast sized bread with sweet potato fries,
Fresh out the oven skillet baked 🍞 with garlic butter and chive spread.
😋
The service was excellent, and the ambiance was selfishly romantic. Nicely lit, not too dim, with views of the outside covered by sheer drapes.
There is also an outside eating area. Great for couples, small groups, and even solo brunchers.
My first drink 🍸 wasn't the best but, I settled for a mimosa to end my meal off.
I will return to try the meatloaf next and will recommend Southern Bistro to family colleagues and friends. 👌🏾🍾
Another Perfect spot!
The ham and turkey club was packed with knife carved, hearty portions of meat.... no processed meat here.
Accompanied with a sourdough blt were homemade fries, with a side of cool and refreshing, pickled cucumber and red onion salad. Top that with an Arnold Palmer and lunch is set.
Ideal location for small parties, and meetings....there is also outside dining.
Service was on point, the food was well made and tasty, it was also served promptly.
There are plenty of delicious options, without having to turn page after page of some sticky menu.
The menu is perfect and simple.
Restaurants as this, make it hard to dine at your local run of the mill franchise dinner houses.
This place is amazing. Me and my wife took our 2 dogs here for lunch and the service we received was above and beyond anything you could ever imagine. "baby" Shawn treated us like royalty.
All of the staff are amazing!!
Now the food was just like the service, perfect. Our boys loved the chicken and bacon from the doggie menu.
100% we will be back here again real soon, I'm excited to try more of the menu.
This is the best restaurant in sandy springs, maybe Atlanta. The kitchen has serious talent. The food is fresh and clean, not greasy/oily. Kind professional staff. I've ordered everything off the menu (until they updated it) and can't tell you how impressed I am. Affordable to a degree. I'd eat here every day if I could

First time at this lovely restaurant to celebrate my sister’s birthday. We did not have reservations for lunch and were seated promptly. Our server Tarek was friendly and highlighted some of the special items on the menu. We ordered the deviled eggs as an appetizer and a glass of Prosecco. I had the salmon BLT which had fresh avocado and arugula, tomato and bacon along with salmon filet cooked to perfection between a toasted grain bread. My sister ordered the three scoop salad plate, egg, chicken, and tuna salads, with bibb lettuce and garnishments. For dessert we had Peggy’s pound cake with Carmel sauce and vanilla ice cream AND hot fudge pie. The food was perfection, the service was top notch and the ambience was chill. We sat and talked for an hour after our meal and we’re never hurried to leave. I will definitely be back for brunch and dinner.
The food is incredible!!!!! So is the service! SO impressed. Will be back! :) I got the Chicken and Waffles and let me tell you, the best I’ve ever had! The collard greens are to die for!
I went to the restaurant around 3PM, which happened to be the window of time that they have a limited menu. When I walked in the person who greeted me told me about the menu but she said it as though the restaurant was closed so she didn't seem to plan to seat me. I stood there and she said "oh, you're going to stay?" I hadn't seen the menu options yet. I was less than happy with the way she handled this. Not a welcoming greeting at all.
Deviled Eggs were really good. Burger was cooked perfectly to order. Nancy G's Country Club Salad was fantastic, with lots of avocado chunks and bacon. The honey mustard is not too sweet and not too spicy, and the fried chicken breast tasted fresh and not at all greasy. Friendly staff-- however, they get busy when the dining room fills up. So plan to spend a good hour and a half when you come. And they do take reservations, so you might need to do that for the busiest times.
This was probably my 6th or 7th time dining here, and first time for brunch.
Everyone is so friendly, our server was outstanding in general (Kyle?)
The food was amazing. I had eggs benedict with pimiento cheese and such, my wife had a chilaquiles casserole that was so tasty.
My son had a steak and eggs skillet, it was so hot and delicious.
Highly recommended!
Our server was great. The owner’s sister was super funny and the food was delicious! I’ll be back for brunch and then dinner sometime in this new year. This is another place added to my places to eat list!
Delicious food and a
nice environment. Company Christmas celebration.
