I'd order delivery from this restaurant and fell in love with the food. I decided to try dine in and was not disappointed. This is a little cute and quaint place with a lovely cook. She and her lovely smile made the dining experience wonderful. I can't wait to go back.

I love love love this place! I ordered the veggie plate last time but this time I got the vegan plate with one vegan protein which I chose the awaze and loved it! never had it before and I’m new to Ethiopian food in general so everything is something I’ve never had but yet I’ve loved everything here!! I have not been in person yet but I look forward to going on day!

The food was delicious! There was a ton to eat, and it all tasted incredible! Their injera is soft and perfect, and the honey wine is so refreshing. The atmosphere is 10/10 love this place ❤️

Must try if you're looking for the Authentic Ethiopian experience! Food was amazing and they serve all the traditional dishes. You're eating from the traditional Mesob table setup, none of the streamlined plates/cutlery/etc. The owners and workers there cannot be any nicer. Great to see them enjoying cooking their cuisine and sharing it with others. Glad our big group went and will be coming back again soon.

The pictures don't do justice because I had eaten like half of it already lol. Had veggies and fish. I ü usually get the awaze or tibs. It's always Flavorful and fresh! There are a couple people in back making your food from scratch. It looks like ya grandma's kitchen back there. The atmosphere is quaint and colorful, rich in culture. That are always playing music videos on the TV. I love it here. I definitely recommend.

It was my first time trying Ethiopian food. It was extremely delicious. Below is our veggie plate and chicken tibs. The prices were fantastic for the amount of food you received. The staff members there were also very kind! The self-service style was appreciated as well. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant! :)

I have been coming to this restaurant for close to 2 years. Having tried many other Ethiopian Restaurants, this is the most authentic. The ambiance, music, hospitality, staff, and most of all the food makes an incredible experience. It feels like you're invited to their home rather than a restaurant. The food is all made with love and made to order each time. I visit at least once per week and they are Vegan friendly. Looking forward to another delicious meal!

Just awesome! Wish I could give 100 stars. I came here for the first time last week not expecting much and man was I blown away. I even chatted with the owner who is really pleasant. I did the pick 5 option. I got the awaze beef, collard greens, cabbage with potatoes, and green beans with carrots. This Ethiopian food is just so amazing. It reminds me of the Ethiopian restaurant i used to frequent back in Uganda. I'll definitely be back every chance i get. This place is so, so worth it and the prices are very, very reasonable compared to other Ethiopian restaurants in Atlanta. All of this plus to go extra njera was less than $20.

Pretty good Ethiopian food at a great price! I would come back. It’s definitely more of a grab and go place. Service was really nice as well.

1st time here. Food was fantastic! The environment looked cozy. However, it was very cold inside. Hard to fully enjoy the entire experience when focused on my extremities losing heat.

Everything about this place is perfect. Food is outstanding tastes like I'm back in Addis, the owner is the sweetest person I've met and always remembers me. I'm sad it's closed temporarily, hopefully it is back in full swing soon!

First off, the owner of the restaurant is very friendly, happy to be working there, and gives off a positive atmosphere. That is always a plus Second, everything I have had here from the lamb tibs, to the shiro has been absolutely fantastic. Warning: the food is addictive! I has a friend of mine eat here on a weekend, then come back for round 2 less than a week later! Out of everything though, the sambuusas are straight 🔥 they are that good! I Would 100% recommend Ghion to anyone looking for new food to try! I come back to this review over a year later to be disappointed that Ghion closed down. May it rest in peace. It surely was one of the best hidden gems in Atlanta.

Tasty, authentic Ethiopian food in an intimate setting. It was very quiet when we went. Our food came out on one large platter and was full of flavor. The employees behind the counter were so kind, too. Highly recommended.

The food is amazing and the owner is very friendly. It's great to learn about Ethiopian culture through the artwork, table style and programs that she plays on the television. Try the coffee too, which is so good! Finally, if you're vegan there are options for you too. I'll be back often.

Ghion Cultural Special $35 definitely enough for 2 people (combination of vegetables, minced meats, awaze, and dry tibs).

We tried the platter and it was an enormous assortment of Ethiopian food that was ready very quickly and was quite tasty. The worker explained to us what each one was after asking which was nice. Not much seating inside but the basket tables were very unique.
