Wanted to grab a late night java from an actual coffee shop. Was open until 12a. Vibe was “Little Five Points Goth” meets the arts! but very inviting and chill. Cool that it is attached to theater next door. Looks like they have outside seating too. We ordered a chai tea and macadamia cappuccino. Person who took order was dry at first, but attitude seemed to have improved after making our delicious beverages. Get the lemon pound cake when you first walk in. Was delicious. Will return. Definitely recommend. Took me back to my Little Five days! Whoo hoo!
I needed a location to meet with a colleague and what is a meeting without amazing coffee? During my search Java Lord popped up and offered hours that fit my needs. As such, let’s talk about my recent visit.
The location sits towards the rear of the high traffic area which is perfect for finding parking. Upon walking in there is an assortment of treats that capture your eye. The ambiance of the location is super chill and artsy. The paintings on the wall are not only amazing but they are for sale as well. Talk about a win win!
Being this was my first time I wanted to go outside of my usual coffee order. I decided on the Coffee of the Day with a shot of Almond and Vanilla.
The Murder Blend has a smooth Coffee taste. This is the perfect blend for someone (such as myself) who enjoys the authentic taste of coffee. As I love a good Dark Blend. This Medium/Dark Blend allows the roast flavor to be very evident. The flavor profile has a heavy body, and the flavor is prominent but isn’t spicy and has the authentic bittersweet tang, subtle chocolate and caramel flavors, with hints of smokiness. Yeah! As you can see, this is a perfect coffee for any moment of the day… The flavor shots are strong which pair well with the heaviness of the Murder Blend.
The young lady who helped me originally was nice, however, as she wasn’t as much of a coffee drinker I was unable to get her take on any of the other blends. As such, I will be back again to be surprised by the daily blend.
Overall, this location is great for a break from a busy day, a chance to meet with friends, or even a quick business conversation. All of the aforementioned will fit in this location with any blend of coffee.

Bailey was absolutely amazing! Loved my afternoon coffee, the atmosphere and overall experience. Highly recommended! Will definitely be back soon!
I loved the coffee! We visited from out of town and I was grateful they required masks and asked for vaccine cards to sit in the cafe. Its a very cool spot. I wish I lived closer to go every day!
Dope spot! The girl with the pixie cut and the guy with the long beard were super nice! Came here to do some work and I had a chai latte with oat milk that was made to perfection! Also, it wasn’t too noisy and I came on a Saturday night. Definitely will be back!
Coffee was stronnnng in a good way! Lol...met some really cool locals who showed me around the area. They have a great selection of flavors to choose from. I think I got the hazlenut and it was solid. Not as much flavor as I would've liked but it definitely got me through the night
Amazing little coffee shop with soul. Solid loose leaf tea selection, great coffee, and a rough and tumble space full of grit and cultural patina.
Super fact: they provide full on power supplies at the main tables to charge your stuff! Get to work procrastinator lords!
Spin the wheel to figure out which “John or Jill” to in-stall yo bad self into. No telling who your neighbor might be.
Ah hell, get yourself down here and cup-o-joe it up like the true lord you know you really are.
Oh yeah, Java Lords is of course attached to a club with live music and everything that comes with it.

I love a cozy lil duck off coffeehouse & this place satisfied that! It also has so much more to offer like very interesting art work all around along with a full bar! Love it here just very smoky near patio door.
Delicious coffee, great service and an all around really cool place.
They even have a neat outdoor patio.
cheap but good coffee. drinks and light food. great place to work or hang out. great place to meet friendly and interesting people. best outdoor smoking in atlanta. attached to 7 stages. music varies from hard punk to trip hop. i never wear headphones here because i couldn't put together a better playlist.
Stopped in for a to-go coffee. What a cool place! I got an iced latte with sugar free caramel. Delicious. Not many places have sf options outside of vanilla, so this was a great find.
I have only had tea here, and they have a great selection. They have a bar, too! You can work here, drink coffee, and then get a drink on your way out. Genius.
Great music, awesome coffee and excellent atmosphere. Highly recommend
This is connected to 7 Stages Theater. Great coffee and a full bar. Drinks can be taken into the theater.
Really needed a hot toddy to help with a sore throat. Searched across the city for an hour and other bars didn’t know what it was or rushed to make it. This place made us delicious with no problem. And such an awesome chill spot for a Saturday night. Thanks Java Lords! ❤️
Nice mocha latte and lovely venue for a cute and dark wedding!
My husband and I are always looking for unique coffee shops when we travel and we really enjoyed Java Lords. Owner was super nice and the coffee was delicious! Atmosphere is very unique for a coffee house but we truly appreciated the change in scenery. Also this shop has milk alternatives for those (like me) who need it. We loved the sense of community felt here!
Great coffee, cool staff, chill place. Stay inside if you wanna hear awesome music and look at some cool art in a neat atmosphere or chat with nice folks. I'm usually more introverted so I love their back patio. Quiet and a great place to cross-stitch or work on something. <3 Either way, this place is perfect.
