We ordered takeout and got the tonkatsu ramen & the crunchy salmon roll + four seasons roll. The tonkatsu broth was delicious and the sushi was very fresh and tasty. Would recommend.
High quality sushi, my favorite place to go to. Make sure to check out their lunch specials. Been dining here since 2012!
This was my first time here. I really enjoyed the ramen and sushi. We had a 20 minute wait but it was worth the wait. I will be going back and trying other menu items.
We had an early dinner here. When we walked in it was pretty empty. But it filled up fast and when we left the place was full. We started with one shrimp tempura appetizer which we shared. It was good and we could have both ordered our own. After we ordered we went and got snacks from the grocery section which was fun. Our order came pretty quickly and everything was delicious. The fried rice & double shrimp roll were my favorites. My Son loved everything and even got another fried rice to go.😂 We will definitely go back.

Best sushi we've found around the Decatur area. You'd have to go further afield (Buford Highway?) to get anything better/different vibe. Often busy, and no reservations (first come, first served), so try and come earlier for dinner if possible. For example, a table for 4 at around 6:15pm was a 20min wait, whereas there were about 15 people waiting at 7:30 when we left.
Plenty of options to try, from sushi to ramen. They'll happily make you simpler sushi rolls for the kids that aren't on the menu (i.e. simple tuna/salmon rolls). Sapporo on draft is👌.
Menu has a variety of selections and combinations for individual satisfaction. Food quality is good. My first time here. Will definitely come back to try other dishes. Street parking is limited but there is plenty of parking in the back.
Stellar food!
Good service
Legendary - as good as it gets
- Spicy Ronkatsu Ramen
- Japanese Curry Katsu
My friends and I found this place looking for authentic Japanese food in Atlanta, and we loved it!! The staff is lovely and the vibes are great, but most importantly of course, the food is amazing!! They even have a little shop area in the back that I will definitely be taking advantage of next time we stop by!!
Food was excellent! Very good quality and reminded me of the food when we were in Japan. You can tell they use top quality ingredients in the sushi. The Ramen was so flavorful. I got the curry Ramen which I've never had before but would get again in a heart beat.
Friday night dinner was a success.
It was very busy but we were able to get a table for two in a decent time.
My date and I both got Ramen Combos. Pictured is the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen and Pork Katsu w/ the shiki specialty roll.
It was super filling and a great price. Nice ambience as well.
This was a great restaurant with amazing customer service. The waitress was energetic, enthusiastic - an absolute delight. Reminded us of the energizer bunny. The food was delivered quickly and was fresh and very delicious. when ordering our lunch the mango tea was suggested and it was a real treat. The seaweed salad was so tasty too. Only wish I had ordered more. Highly recommend taking the suggestion of the staff and getting the refreshing tea. Great little find in Emory Village. Even scored a bonus parking space in front!
Great service and food quality! Love this authentic Ramen and sushi restaurant. Minimalist design feels very authentic. Love the sashimi , using combo.
Came here after attending commencement at Emory University because it is just across the street from the University’s front gate. It’s almost full at 7pm but there was no waiting because classes had ended. The service was very food. The hostess and the waitresses were all very pleasant and courteous.
Prices are quite reasonable, similar to prices in average Japanese restaurants in San Francisco Bay area. The menu has a good variety. We ordered the Ramen plus Two, which has a choice of ramen bowl and two choice of sushi rolls. The ramen was quite chewy but not sticky. The soup base was not greasy and not too salty. The taste was just right for me. The rice rolls were fine. We did not order sashimi, which could be a good measure of food quality.
Service was quite fast and the meal was a pleasant one. The restaurant thoughtfully provided coat hangers at the door because the sitting stools did not have backs.
For the price this would be a good choice for decent ramen and rice rolls.
Low key but good quality sushi place. The fish was very fresh and they had lots of interesting rolls on offer. The best thing might have been the Dragon's Breath roll with spicy tuna that they burn with a blowtorch in front of your eyes before serving. The yellowtail was also excellent. The only downside is it's not the comfiest restaurant as it's just hard wooden benches rather than seats, so you probably wouldn't spend a long time there.
