Me and my bestie went there after a concert at the Eastern and the waitress that night definitely answered all my questions sweetly and she even made some great suggestions. I chose the Salt and Pepper shrimp. It was Amazing. I have NEVER eaten sautéed onions but theirs were soooo flavorful I actually for the first time ate some and it was cooked perfectly. the ambiance was super chill, like a place to hang with friends and catch up, The dining room area was dimly light and not too bright while the music was a good jam of songs on the speaker, not too loud which allowed us to really enjoy the food. For a pop up, it wasnt bad. But some additional sides options would be good. So i'll try again.

I came here with a party of 5 of my friends around 5pm and had a great time! Service was quick and accurate (shoutout to our waitress Cindy) the drinks were strong (I got a strawberry mojito with a double shot) the hookah flavors were good and the food was great! Tasty flavorful! Will deff be back!

Menu is very simple. About 8 entrees with 2 out of stock. enjoyed the salted shrimp, tacos and Connecticut burger which was quite an experience in texture; looked soggy but felt puffy like bao, delicious. Drinks were not too sweet, instead had bold taste profiles The sake juice box was badass

Great service! Warm ambience (slightly too dark to see your food, but not enough to be truly bothered by it), good food! Tried one of everything on tonight’s menu

Update: My fave ATL late night dinner spot is BACK!! They closed during COVID and I was afraid they were gone indefinitely. However, I looked them up recently “just cuz” and they are open AGAIN! Looking for a quiet date night spot, from 10pm - 2am, here is your spot! Fresh new menu everyday and the vibe is just right. Love The Eclectic atmosphere here, I hear that it's another restaurant during the daytime. I tried the Spanish octopus and was highly satisfied. This place is a bit pricey, but a great late night dinner spot especially if you have a hot date 😊

It’s a neighborhood bar inside of a restaurant. It opens after the restaurant closes. A little confusing. Food is adventurous. Atmosphere is hip and cool. The service is great. It is a hidden jewel. The prices are not bad at all. Opens at 10:00pm to 2:00am. Perfect place to stop in after going out.

In short: Go early, with friends that are patient/chill. Seems to be suffocating from understaffing, much like every other restaurant in Georgia (facing wave after wave of people wanting to go outside). So I’m emphasizing the patience required. Tacos were to die for. Wish I knew I should have ordered more but given the extremely high quality, my self righteous standards were exceeded, despite long wait times. Strong first impression.

I wish I had more photos of food but the courses they have taste too good to wait. This dish pictured is smoked trout topped with salmon roe and green goddess dressing on the plate. Each dish is greatly complex yet so simple, it's a treat to eat here. There aren't too many tables but it doesn't feel crowded. The bar is nice and has equally whimsical drink specials.

Super fun and tasty. The concept itself was a selling point! A restaurant closes and reopens as a secret restaurant at 10PM. Who doesn't want to try that? It makes you feel like a spy. The service was quick and thoughtful. The menu was enticing delicious. The oysters were probably my favorite standout because I wasn't expecting to like them. I am a stickler for crackers hot sauce horse radish and cocktail sauce. They don't have any of that. At first it's a bit daunting to eat a raw oyster with lemon, but these were actually some of the best oysters I've ever had. Top notch on quality and taste across the board. If you get a chance definitely come here. Great late night eats, and even better company will find you here.

We arrived pretty late... kitchen was closing... our waitress made things shake for us... I had the chicken sandwich because I thought it would be the hearty meal on the menu... came with nothing but a sandwich...? Anyway the food taste good... very different approach to flavoring their food no complaints at all... I believe the e tire table was happy... we had the lobster roles, lamd and shimp and peppers as well...

I've been going to Octopus Bar since it first opened. Back in the day, it was great to conversate with the "sous chef" in the back. But I will say year after year after decade this place never fails. I now come every Tuesday after work with my coworkers. We know every time we go we will always be taken care of well. The food is amazing. The ever-changing menu is always something to look forward to. I have to admit that I always get the same thing. The salt & pepper shrimp is a staple that day after day remains a feature on the menu. The oysters... all I can say is, just do it. Austin, Sapphire & Grace handle the different dynamics of each individual or group in there phenomenally well. Needless to say, I highly recommend this place. If you're looking for an EAV vibe Octopus Bar is it.

Octopus bar is the best kept secret in Atlanta, and one of the only places I've ever been that consistently surprises me with favorite dishes I didn't even know I had. Dwayne is a phenomenal chef and arguably one of the best chefs of Atlanta. Octopus Bar is always it's own experience and I can never not recommend this place to anyone. It's easily my favorite venue in Atlanta, hands down!

If it's past 10 and you want to chill and eat great food, come here, no question. The food is fresh, so yummy, expertly prepared, the mixed drinks are some of the best I've had, and the music, vibe, and service is awesome. Salt and pepper shrimp and the negroni and honeydew oleo were my faves.

My first time to this location. The service, the food, the drinks, the ambiance is A1! They have this locations management down to a science. The food and drinks came out fast, and the service to go with it was superb. The music was not to loud and caters to a more mature crowd. A mix of R&b current pop plays through the night. They also have hookah and it’s good as well. The vibe is very low key and that’s nice to have when all other lounges seem over packed. Ask for Dean the server he is very prompt and gives great suggestions to the me he also was very attentive. I wish I could have left ten stars. I don’t ever give this much credit to a spot and I’ve eaten and experienced any and every lounge in Atlanta. This place will be here if they keep up this level of service and quality.

I’ve been on three separate occasions and I’ve had Deja as my server! She was phenomenal!!!! She treated my mom like royalty on Mother’s Day, made sure I was well taken care of on my birthday, and after a hectic get in today, she made us feel very welcome. I hope I’m ALWAYS say in her section. Good here is bomb!! So is the music and hookah ❤️❤️. I’ve literally had the best drinks I’ve ever tried right here!!
