Best Chinese food in the neighborhood.
Consistent Chinese Food. The food here isn't bad, but isn't great either. We used to get delivery from them because they were the only one that had consistent food that delivered to our area. With the other restaurants you never knew what you were going to get even if you ordered the same dish everytime. I've dined in a couple times and the restaurant itself is nice and clean with typical Chinese restaurant decor. Overall, its a decent Chinese place, nothing special.

Hunan Inn delivered in the service category. The owner and staff were friendly, attentive, and quick.
I ordered a luncheon special of Mongolian beef. It came with a cup of egg drop soup, spring roll, fried rice, and crunchy rice noodles.
I was suffering from a slight cold when I visited Hunan Inn, and the egg drop soup was a bit too mild for me to truly taste. The consistency was spot on, however.
The fried rice and spring roll were very straightforward and standard. Both were freshly prepared and added substance to the lunch.
The Mongolian beef and crunchy rice noodles delivered. The beef was sweet, salty, tender, and expertly prepared. The noodles added a welcome crunch to round things out.
All in all, this was a pleasant lunch experience.
First time here , service is great , menu price is also good and they have some good family deals .

This is my and my family's first choice for quality Chinese (and some Thai) food in the northeast metro Atlanta area. We are always so happy and impressed with how genuinely friendly the staff is, and the service could not be better. The dining area has a quiet and traditional Chinese atmosphere. Mostly we get take out, but we also meet friends there to dine in. Again, the service is great we are made to feel comfortable. It's my husband's favorite place for General Tsao's Chicken; both of us prefer their steamed dumplings and spring rolls over other restaurants; and I love the Lo Mein and curry dishes. There are dinners with protein and vegetables (no rice or noodles), and there are vegetarian meals.
I have been eating at Hunan Inn for years and have enjoyed everything I have eaten there. The team at the restaurant have always been attentive, friendly and courteous. I continue with delivery during the stay at home portion of the pandemic. Food is consistent and still tasty. Great sauces. (I had the Hot Pepper Pork)
Service was awesome. Very very friendly and helpful. Loved it. We will be going back soon and often. This was a experience to remember.
Have been looking for Human chicken since my favorite restaurant closed 15 years ago. Perfect Hunan chicken, this will be in my rotation of great restaurants.
Tangerine beef was fantastic egg drop soup and rice. Atmosphere was great and the service was top notch. I will be back again, hope to see ya there.

This was my second trip here, and I liked the sweet-n-sour swordfish or snapper (even though it was drowning in red sauce), so I came back with my son. The decor needs to be updated, reminds me too much of the Chinese spots in the hood back in the 90s. I got Massaman Curry shrimp, it was just ok, and it didn't come with potatoes in it like at Thai restaurants, so the texture seemed a bit off to me. I don't like the fact that you can't get shrimp fried rice unless you order it as a separate dinner-priced entree. The food is pretty basic and the menu too inflexible to be priced so high.
I've always visited early in the evening and it has always been very quiet. Although they are doing a brisk takeout business, I have always been able to enjoy a quiet and relaxing dinner. Of course, it doesn't hurt that the food is delicious and the service is prompt and courteous. This evening I enjoyed the steamed dumplings and the Basil Lo Mein with shrimp. Both the appetizer and the entree were excellently prepared and tasted as wonderful as they are meant to taste! Each of my three visits to the Hunan Inn have resulted in a wonderful indulgence in the cuisine of Southern China. I highly recommend this restaurant.
