Irie Mon is a hidden jewel nestled in the Macquarium building. Upon entering we were greeted with a warm and friendly smile ..the cozy environment had unique island decorum. The jerk chicken, oxtails and curry shrimp were delicious. Their food is perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. This place is a must try
Most authentic Jamaican food I've had in Atlanta. Origin of the flavor combinations is undoubtedly Jamaican. I have been a few times and will be back again.
Bangin'. I've had Caribbean cuisine at more than a few places in the US and Caribbean itself, but this morning I was impressed with the flavor and hospitality. Clean, friendly, laid-back atmosphere- I will definitely be back before I go back home to LA.
Hidden by the Macquarium building, the food is delicious and the family running it is probably one of the nicest restaurant families I have met. The goat was phenomenal and the plantains were mind expanding. And I don't care for plantains
Will definitely go again.
THIS is authentic Jamaican Food !!! The very BEST Curry goat in ATL !!! Really good oxtails and brownstew fish. I will definitely return and highly recommend if you love Jamaican food you MUST try Irie Mon !!
The food is awesome. Hard to see the restaurant from the street when you are driving on Peachtree. It is inside the Macuarium building on the ground floor. I had the oxtail with cabbage and plantain. Devoured the whole thing.
I enjoyed every single bite! I’ll be back. The customer service was very personable.
Food was flavorful, hot and made to order. Hard to find at first but they do validate parking in the Macquarium building parking lot.
Good food and the Customer service was outstanding....Wonderful Job!
It was fantastic! Definitely will go back there!
I visit all this spot all the time. I love the oxtails & curry chicken. Today was my first time trying the chicken rasta pasta. The flavor was really good I just wished there was more peppers and veggies like the other reviews showed. Overall, I really enjoy this restaurant!
Went to dine here on my trip to Atlanta after seeing all of the praises that the restaurant/food truck was getting online. I got the Jerk chicken, Mac n cheese, and Rice n Peas. Y’all this food was so flavorful and filling as it was a very large portion. I had a taste for some well seasoned Caribbean food and they exceeded my expectations for sure. If you’re considering dining here please do not hesitate, you won’t regret it. I will have to visit again on my next visit to Atlanta, thank you Irie Mon cafe for the wonderful experience.
Have zero complaints ! The food was amazing and is worth every dollar! I got the curry goat and the oxtail. Best in Atlanta, definitely will be back real soon! Love that they’re open till 2am too!

This is my second time going to this restaurant. The food is soooo good. It was well seasoned and food authentic. As a Yadie (Jamaican born), I am always looking for a taste of home and this is by far the best. This is my spot whenever I am in the ALT area.
I LOVE this place! Every single time I come to Atlanta, I have to stop here to get a curry chicken plate w/ rice and peas and some cabbage. It's literally the best curry chicken I've ever had! It's so tender & seasoned to perfection. They give you plentiful portions so you have a lot to eat, and the prices are very fair. I've never had an issue with their customer service, they all are sweet & speak with you warmly. I recommend everyone try this spot out, you won't regret it!
Jerk chicken is phenomenal. Sauce could have been a bit hotter for me but was very tasty. Got the lunch portion and it was enough for 2 meals. Great deal!
Feels like homemade food! I like the owner and chef are really proud of their meal and services to customers. They were running through business mainly for to-go customers, but they are expanding to dine in service. I loved it. I definitely recommend anyone who likes to eat Caribbean meal. I love the ox tail meal.
Last Friday I saw the food truck and decided to give it a shot. I was greeted by Prince Ellis and blessed with some amazing food! I took the food back and let a few folks at Atlanta Masjid try some and was immediately sent back to grab a few more plates.
The jerk plate was absolutely fantastic! Nice smoked & grilled chicken juicy throughout.
The brother was so confident in his food, he said "I want you to taste it before you leave."
The oxtail & jerk plates were both 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥!
Go check these folks out asap.

Love this place! Found it through another app and can't believe how great the food is. It's a takeout place mostly and the chicken and beef are fall off the bone.
Yes and YES and YES AND YES!!!!!!! When you see the grill outside you know what’s up! After attending carnival 2022 and being disappointed with the food…We were on the hunt for some great Jamaican food to settle our tummies. After reading reviews all the local Islanders stated this was the spot. And boy were they on point! Customer service was absolutely amazing and these were the best oxtails I have ever had and that’s a high bar to reach! We also got fried chicken and baby they had the graces ketchup!!!! If you know you know! The jerk chicken was amazing as well. The main thing that I really loved about this food was it was truly authentic no water down flavor and the spice was on point! We have deemed this spot Our Jamaican go to whenever we are in Atlanta!
My favorite is the Pasta with veggies and Jerk Chicken it is the real deal just my plantains I ordered were dry. As this is my second visit here I was tad bit disappointed!
These absolute KINGS and QUEENS came to Music Midtown and killed it with the quality of their food and their prices. Service was quick and easy, being well prepared, and they served up delicious Jerk Chicken with spicy cabbage and rice and beans. The next time in Atlanta I'll seek them out and hope to see them post up around the area!
Loved the food here. Got the oxtails with rice and plantain, callaloo, and a veggie patty. The curry chicken was delicious All of the food was excellent. Huge portions! The oxtail was soo good and a good portion size as well. The parking and finding the cafe was a little tricky. The closest parking is the macquarium parking, and the cafe is located in the building by the lot
