There is no other. I Love Sushi is the best Japanese restaurant I've ever been to. Tommy-sensei is a master of sushi crafting and it shows in the quality, presentation, and taste. The waitresses are wonderful and the service is always top notch. I'd eat here every day if I could.
Whenever I'm missing Japan, I come here for a little nostalgia and the best Japanese food in Atlanta. Not just sushi, but a rather deep menu of Japanese comfort food and classic recipes. (You can't get katsu curry just anywhere.)
Last time I was here, it was called "Umazono", I used to eat "I Love Sushi" when it was in Conyers. I'm glad Tommy didn't change the Umezono menu when he took over. They have a wonderful, traditional Japanese selection, non Americanized sushi or Habachi. The prices are fantastic, Saturday I got two apps, a roll, two entrees and a side and my total was $40, and a took home food. I'm always happy when I visit. Highly recommend.
My normal order, my favorites:
Appetizer - Mochi Agedashi
Sushi - Fatty Tuna
Entree - Katsudon with a side of Katsuo Onigiri
Every time I️ go to Atlanta I️ make sure and stop by here. The food is authentic and delicious and the service is always top notch! If you’re looking for an authentic Japanese restaurant in town, this is THE place to go.
Amazing every time! Everything and everyone is absolutely the best! A definite must!! My go-to is the ramen, sushi & beers YUM!!
I love this place. The best in Atlanta-GA. 5 Stars.
California rolls were well above average.
Rice was warm and perfectly sticky.
Wasabi was true and genuine and hotter than blazes!
But the Spider Roll ...the Spider Roll was truly legendary.
The food is always fresh and the service is friendly and attentive :)
This is one of the things I miss most after I moved to Tennessee. Whenever I'm back in town though, I like to come by and grab a bite!
