I regularly eat here between classes, ordering the (pictured) crispy honey chicken with broccoli, with a side of fried rice. In short, it's good stuff. I've had several other dishes as well and they know what they're doing in bringing authentic Asian cuisine. However, it's a bit overpriced. Overall, though, good place. GSU students, go in on Tuesdays for a discount!

Service was quick and the food is really good, I only have a couple of problems though. First, the menu on their website doesn't have any prices so I had to call and see what everything would cost as I was ordering over the phone, which I'm not a big fan of. Second, they got part of my order wrong. I wanted the mama egg rolls, but they gave me cheeseburger egg rolls instead. They weren't bad, just not what I ordered. I'll probably come back because the food is good and this is one of the few places I have found that has Bahn Mi.

Love this place! I come here all the time and have never been disappointed. Their Samosas are delicious! They also have so many flavors of Fruit Tea and Bubble Tea! If you’re having trouble deciding what to order, the staff is super friendly and ready to help you.

Absolutely love this place and will certainly return here when I'm back in Georgia! The family that runs it is completely delightful! The food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is fun and peaceful!! We enjoyed the bulgoghi beef, the baohs, the pot stickers and the incredible cheese burger egg rolls!! Whether you live here or you're here on travel make this a destination for lunch or an early dinner!

Vegan Friendly Review: I have gone to lunch at East Wave Asian Fusion several times with co-workers and solo. I have gotten the Garlic Tofu and Broccoli w/brown rice every time and it has been consistently flavorful and a ton of food for $7 and some change. The employees are always upbeat and work efficiently even when Georgia State is in session when the lunch crowd becomes hectic. East Wave Asian is a wonderful choice in downtown Atlanta as a lovely Asian fusion choice!

I've only had one of the entrees there (crispy honey chicken I think), but honestly it's really good. I just usually go there for the tea and I just keep coming back. The staff is really great, and it's always kept clean. Would recommend definitely.

I went for "Thirsty Thursday" and tried a fruit tea and it was great! it was a lemon green tea with strawberry bits & boba (if that's how you spell it). The only gripe I had this go around was the wait time. I placed my order before a lot of others who came in yet their orders were done ahead of mine because the drink makers grabbed the cups at random instead of a first come first serve basis. Personally, I think this place would benefit greatly from a uniform system that works on a first come first serve basis prioritizing call-ins. but again, you can't beat the ambience & the employees seem happy to be there & it shows in the service.

After hearing my friend's rave review of East Wave she convinced me to make a visit with her. We had a great experience. The restaurant is modern, bright and feels really clean. The staff was kind and patient as we read over the new menu and they made suggestions, too! My friend and I shared jasmine green milk tea, pork buns & chicken dumplings. Everything was delicious! A neon photo mural on the wall caught my eye, so I asked Alex, who turned out to be the manager/ co-owner. He told me it's of some old Korean & Chinese buildings. All three of us then talked about our mutual love of food and culture for a while. We were able to get our paws on a few new versions of their teas. The lychee, matcha, Thai tea, taro, and green apple are just a few of their new creations. Our favorites were the green apple and the lychee flavors, which were lightly sweet and very refreshing. Final statement: We will be back & referring.

Wow another home run for Atlanta. I'd say mom and pop but this is a son owned mom and sisters run amazing eatery. Can't say enough good about this place. Definitely give the cheese burger egg rolls a try, as well as baohs, bulgoghi beef and of course the pot stickers. Everything is made in house by mom. Being from Texas momma's cooking is always a winner. Amazing customer service. The place gets busy so be patient it's worth the wait.

I love the boba tea here, they discontinued it for a while which made me go to boba mocha, which make horribly bad milk teas but I'm glad they r back with these. The boba seeds are well soaked and chewy, not excessively sweet. I also like fried egg roll here

The Chipotle chicken tastes delicious. I ordered a banh mi sandwich meal with Chipotle chicken, cost about $9.25. the sweet plantains tasted good too. It is definitely a fast casual place. Would recommend for employees in the area.

My favorite restaurant didnt have its usual Tues off menu item so i walked into East Wave. (FYI, entrance is really on Broad Street.) It was excellent! I'm so glad I went in. I got the Chipotle & Soy Grilled Pork Bun. It's an ihouse made Bun, very large, ample meat, topped with a carrot/cabbage slaw (typical vietnamese and/or Korean i think.) It was vreally good. Three of them for $7.50, and more than enough for a meal. Its now my other favorite restaurant on Broad Street. You dont come to a place like this for fried rice or tossed noodles. You come and order the unusual, and they definitely have it.

I had the crab Rangoons and the kale salad BOTH BANNGINNN. Reasonably priced and great portions. The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is becuase, they close at 4 and I need to try more food options. Lol.

The lettuce wraps are cheap enough to try them all in one sitting. OMG the flavors are off the chart. I highly recommend this place for a quick bite.
