Enjoyed it. Not a beer drinker; however, i enjoyed the fried pickles and the lamb burger. if there weren't sooo many other places to try in Atl, I'd go back.
Great Sunday Brunch. My friend and I discovered The Glenwood for brunch this past Sunday because we were in the area and noticed their "Brunch from 11am - 3pm" chalkboard sign. I had the Logger's Skillet, which is bacon, potatoes and eggs all drizzled in syrup. Absolutely scrumptious!
The only downside is that it is a pub, so there was smoking at the bar. We were able to find a table in the corner to escape the smoke fumes.
Nice place. I really like this place but hate to say that the quality of the food has dipped since they first opened. Still a cool place to grab a drink.
Sit on the deck. Nestled behind the Glenwood it is a great little refuge from the world. The Caesar salad is outstanding with some good twists on the classic. Great beer selection too.
I was hoping for a pub with a large variety of interesting beers on tap (digging IPA’s lately), and I was slightly dissapointed in that regard (I didn’t look at the bottle list), but the food was the shiz. As an appetizer we got the Fried Blue Cheese Grit
Man I was shocked. Bruh! Them smoked wings????? OUTRAGEOUS! So damn delicious. And definitely get the nachos with chicken.. Make you wanna slap ya mama. Fries were amazing too. Drinks were built Ford tough! First time at this spot for a late night meal and it did not disappoint!
We needed food after a concert on a Thursday at 2am and man, this was a true treasure! Called at 2:20am to ask if they were still serving and they assured us they served until 2:45. We sat down, and the bartender was happy to serve us. Karaoke was still going, food was perfect, lively atmosphere. This is a typical dive bar, a little scruffy, some wobbly chairs, but had the best bartender, great food and cool people.
This place is solid. My bf and I come here sometimes when we want good food late. I am mostly keto so it’s hard for me to find stuff to eat. I get the pulled chicken ( no barbecue) with green beans and fried okra ( I cheat on the breading :-)). My bf doesn’t eat pork so he normally gets the pulled brisket sandwich and loves it. Also, when I’m cheating, I have the Brunswick stew. It’s amazing! Beat that you can get from a restaurant. Service at the bar is always good and the drinks are a good price and they aren’t weak. Now I know you'll be surprised to hear this but out of all the bars in EAV, this place has the widest variety of people of any bar in the village. Yes, I said that. I ran into all types of people at all times of day and night. Most good, some bad, some old, some young but that's what makes this place interesting. And trust me, I spent a lot of time in here. It's probably my overall favorite bar in EAV. Good times playing air hockey and watching football and drinking until I was blind. Have a deck in back if you want a break from inside. If you're lucky you'll see something crazy going on in the back parking lot. I know I have!
This place is tried and true- I've been coming here since at least 2012. The vibe is chill even on football days and it's not real smokey like some places. The food is good and drinks are strong. Minus 1 star because the staff isn't always attentive unless you're at the bar.
Cool place. We ordered a couple of times on UberEats and decided to check it out in person today. They were out of a couple of items due to the holiday + restocking being delayed a day, but what we had was delicious and the guy on staff filled out a takeout container full of water and brought it out to the patio for our dog. Appreciated! (Also the tindle chicken nachos are incredible.)
I've been going to this bar for many years now. It's a great spot, with a wonderful staff, reasonable prices, and really good food. I started running a karaoke show there every Thursday night a few months back. Come out, and join us.
Great food. Waitress was less than desirable. After acknowledgement of your guest, you should give them a menu for review while you assist others. No, not here. Plus, there is a $.50 to go charge and gratuity has been automatically added. Read your check and check your order before leaving!
I love it because its laid back good atmosphere, friendly crowd has an outside deck where you could basically have your own party and to boot only some of the best food youll ever taste prepared by top notch chefs....quick and friendly service.
Great bar hangout. The bartenders are friendly and you'll meet cool folks. The BBQ was good but the sweet potato fries were amazing.
Great Place. Great Food. Friendly Staff!
Poker Game every Sunday night at 8pm.
The food is amazing that’s why I rated it the way it’s rated ! I just do not like the energy of the staff. Especially one guy at the bar . When I come to visit which is often it’s just a vibe of why are you here . The customer service other people get who are not my skin color is totally different from when me and my friends come in. I’ve brought people who never been and although they say the food is good they also expressed how uncomfortable they feel and they will not visit again . Its really sad to still feel uncomfortable when trying to patronize certain establishments. Especially in this generation of time .
Great bartenders who are friendly and helpful. Food and drinks are cheap too!
