Great place for breakfast or brunch.. first time at this place, very colorful ambiance. Kind and friendly staff. Fast service. We ordered the vegan plate with iced coffee and grits bowl with potatoes. Everything was delicious. The coffee was 👍 . Would definitely recommend this place .. and surely will come back again :-)
Over all really good breakfast food paired with a great staff and a roomy, fun atmosphere. Portions are really big and prices are very fair.
Classic southern breakfast staples such as biscuits, grits, and chicken sausage are all standouts, but the menu also has more creative options that are tasty as well. Pancakes are decent, but I've still yet to try the French toast. Given that, I would probably recommend going savory here.
Also, the coffee is surprisingly very good!
Everything came out really quick, and our waitress did a great job.
After browsing the menu online, I was confident that this restaurant was worth a visit. We were seated after a short wait and our server Whitley was quick to bring us waters before taking our order.
She also answered a few questions I had about different items on the menu which helped me to select the Honey Butter Chicken Benedict. It's a new menu item and accompanied with their creamy cheese grits, was a 10/10! The customer service here was excellent and our server was great at anticipating our needs. Let me also suggest you try their fluffy biscuits with apple butter. Your taste buds will thank you 😉
Great location! I love how you can walk around and explore while you wait for a table. The decor on the inside is nice and so are the staff! Very attentive and well-mannered. However, I did not like the shrimp and grits. Make sure to try the French toast! It was pretty decent!
My husband and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast here today with the most amazing service. I had the gravy biscuit with grits (oh my gosh, so good!) and my husband had the breakfast tacos. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food. Our waitress, Madison, was very attentive and made great suggestions. She was so delightful and made us feel welcome from the moment we entered the establishment. We were only in town for a few days but should we travel back to the are we will certainly be back.
Had a quick breakfast after my doctor's appointment. I love the atmosphere and energy inside the place. Enjoyed my egg benedicts and the server change my bacons to chicken tenders as requested
We enjoyed a Bacon and Egg Breakfast, and Chicken Cob Salad for brunch. Delicious as expected. I personally love the biscuits and grits. Amazingly, the grilled chicken breast on the salad was flavorful and delicious too. Service was good and super friendly.
I love this location ❤️🔥‼️ They are always working quickly to ensuring customers are seated and dining. Our wait was only 20 minutes with the usual breakfast rush on a Saturday. Tony assisted us with selecting our meals and he was great 😊. I ordered the Hot Dirty Bird ( egg over medium, hot chicken, with gravy all over a waffle) The dirty bird was very fulfilling (you will have plenty to take home) the price was about $13, which is typical for most of their items on the menu.
I would definitely recommend requesting TONY‼️❣️ he is very attentive and patient. Thank you for a great experience.
Absolutely love Flying Biscuit. The patio is puppy friendly and Tony was nice enough to bring them two cups of water. His service was just great all around he was very attentive and kind. Never have had a bad experience here and I have been a loyal customer for 5+ years. The Piedmont omlette is amazing and they recently added new menu items like chicken & waffles and more!
I rarely give 5 stars, but this app does not allow half stars. I REALLY enjoyed the food and the attentive service. It's 11:30am on a Thursday and there was no wait. I ordered the "Eggs, Biscuits, and Gravy" breakfast platter. This was DELICIOUS!!! I also had a side of grits that were truly dreamy. The menu offers breakfast and lunch. Tons of selections and they also have "Specials of the Day" I dont get to this area often, but if you are ever close by.... Do stop in!!!!
4.5 out of 5
The food is excellent. And the waiter Joe is friendly, my kids love him.
Delicious & quick. The grits are PHENOMENAL, it should be a crime. The portions are hefty. Also, for someone that does not eat pork, I love that their gravy is made from chicken sausage instead of pork sausage. There nothing to not love about Flying Biscuit.
The 5 stars is for Ceaser and Brenee( I hope i spelled her name correctly and sorry if I did not) were great and her service was awesome she acknowledged and welcomed me with an enthusiastic demeanor. Ceaser was awesome he checked up alot but realized he was the only server running from table to table , inside & outside!
2 stars for Food is average. The chicken sausage was to dry and overcooked and eggs as well. But I will come back again because the service was great and I believe in second chances.
Tony made our morning start off perfectly! Making a big move today back to Chicago and brought my mom here to try the delicious biscuits and grits and we both were so happy with the food and service. Thanks Tony for sending us off in the best way possible!
