I have eaten at plenty restaurants in my sixty years and Blue Seas and this is only the second restaurant that I feel that comes up to the standard of cooking with love in the taste of the food. I have eaten several different items of the steam table and all were topnotch. From the oh so cheesy Mac & Cheese that everyone talks about, to the fresh vegetables (cabbage, vegetarian beans, yellow squash, navy beans and spinach just to name a few, the barbeque chicken and spaghetti with meat sauce is off the chain. And you want beat the $1.00 per item steam table.
A beautiful restaurant, with beautiful people. Healthy ingredients produce a healthy being. Right dead smack in the hood. Where resurrection is prescribed!!!!
The staff is always polite, professional, clean and welcoming. The food is AMAZING. My favorites are the mac&cheese and every item on the $1 steam bar! � Where else can you get a fresh, wholesome, meal with a variety of veggies for under $6? Exactly! Go check them out.

I purchased this to go plate with chicken, fish, mac and cheese with veggies for less than 7 dollars! I'm grateful for their location. You can tell they care about feeding their neighbors because their prices are affordable. I would go back. It's not your momma's cooking but more like your aunt's who doesnt mind you coming over and eating all her food. She's just happy you are there. I'll go back and recommend you visit

I tried it for the first time today. In fact I'm still eating as I'm typing this review. The food is absolutely delicious!... Restaurant is immaculately clean, the staff are warm and inviting, the prices are fair for the quality of the food. I am at the beginning of my vegan journey and the variety of veggies were amazing but the black bean Philly practically gave me life...... I WILL DEFINITELY BE VISITING AGAIN!

Friendly service, clean dining area and the fried chicken wings were AWESOME! Steamy hot and crispy with just enough seasoning. Perfection...and $1 steam table was a bonus. Did I mention the bean pie...yummy!
Sisters that worked in the front were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Food is delicious and very affordable. I had the Veggie Philly and it was amazing. I also tasted some of the food from the steam bar that was GREAT!!
Staff is awesome! Personable and smart. The food is delicious. They provide a much needed menu of items in this area. Healthy food choices and quick to go items for those times you don't mind a few more calories.
Food was great and the friendly atmosphere, I mean I was at home. The conversation of the people was the concern of the people in the community. This is a place that should be in every city and I drove from NC for the second time to visit and will be back. The food was amazingly delicious! The Whiting fish was fresh battered and crisply fried, mac and cheese wonderfully seasoned, green beans, eggplant burger awesome...everything amazing!
Food was great... Treated the whole family and this was thier first choice.. Everybody loves the fresh bean pies but they were out today...most Food was made fresh some was from the line and there were no complaints.
I love this place. One of the few places in the hood where you can get good veggies. The staff is friendly and the prices are outstanding. The $1 scoops have gotten me through when money was tight.

Best food in town and awesome $1 steam table!
I just tried restaurant through uber eats. I ordered the veggie philly with fries and fruit punch. Overall food was good, hot and tasty. The reason why i didnt give five star because of the veggie philly.I assumed this would be a normal philly minus meat or chicken. All i got was philly filled with cheese, special sauce and broccoli, plenty of broccoli. The broccoli was good just wish there were more veggies similar to a philly. I would order again but probably not the veggie philly.

Man, u talking bout some good, wholesome food!!! The price is beyond reasonable and portions are fair az well..... We must support this restaurant, not only because of it being a Muslim ran - owned business under THMLF...we need 2 support the great food period.....
Very clean, I ordered spinach with a fish philly and i was more impressed with the spinach then the sandwich. Overall good experience. I will definitely go back
