Definitely the best bagels in Atlanta. Consistency, crust and flavor are all on point. The owners have put a lot of love and effort into not only perfecting their recipe and techniques but also into the business itself - something that is evident in every bite from these genuine, New York City bagels. The next time you see them at a market or setup in Cabbage Town, put in the time to wait in that line and see for yourself what they're all about. If the warm greeting and smiles you receive aren't enough on their own, the bagels will leave no question about who makes the best in town. I can't wait for their permanent shop to open in the East Atlanta Village. They're going to be a perfect addition that anchors that business district for many years to come. I just hope I can get in through the crowd to get my favorite toasted everything with herbed cream cheese when their doors open at the new spot.

Rollin the best around. I'm probably gonna cry/die when the storefront actually opens and they start making pastrami.

Bagels and Pizza are my favorite foods so when I discovered there was a new NY bagel shop down the street from my I was so excited!!! After reading a lot of rave reviews we decided to make a visit during the week to avoid a long line. We went on a Tuesday morning and the line wasn't long, but it was packed! The everything bagel I got was deliciously chewy and my husband got a sesame seed bagel that had regular and black seeds on it.... mmmm mmm! I grew up on Long Island and I felt like I was back home. My bagel today was actually better than the one I got on my trip to NY last week. Thanks Y'all! Keep up the great work!

Authentic with a touch of unique, just like the women who run the business! I can't wait for the new shop to open up so I can grab the yumminess easier ❤️

Beautiful spot. Superb bagels. Superior service. The bagels remind me of the old Royal Bagel shop, many years ago, at Ansley Mall - the very best bagels in Atlanta - in my opinion. We will frequent this spot often.

Emerald city and the lovely duo behind it never fail to impress me and anyone else who is lucky enough to taste and enjoy their delicious bagels. Don't give up on these awesome folks being in EAV because some dingdong has a business nearby!

Tradition! Plain awesome. Hands down, they have the very best bagels and gravlax & smoked fish in Atlanta.

Best bagels in Atlanta, hands down! I am addicted to the fig & almond cream cheese! I can't wait until they expand their menu and start serving egg bagelwiches and stuff!

Best bagels hands down. The mother daughter teams hits it out of the park consistently. I am from NY and very picky about my bagel. These are on point everytime. So excited they are making their home in East Atlanta Village. A perfect addition.

Style is style. Two coffees can be very different from each other and both be fabulous. Same with doughnuts. And bagels. I stopped by Emerald City for the first time after hearing rave reviews from friends. I came after 12:30 and they were starting to run low on selection, but I loved the kinds that remained so it didn't bother me. I got 6 Jalapeno, 4 everything, and 3 onion (baker's doz.) The bagels have just the right amount of chewiness or density. I also got the Green Olive cream cheese spread which turned out to be a superb choice for my assortment. Delicious locally roasted coffee too. I'll have to come in earlier next time and try other flavors.

Try the housemade seltzer water! It’s a perfect refreshing beverage. Also everyone that works there is so kind and personable! Definitely will be recommending to all my friends/family that come to visit Atlanta!

A rare treat indeed. Lower East Side Manhattan bagel quality in Atlanta. Has to be seen (and eaten) to be believed!

Best bagels in Atlanta... but a toaster is like $20! And the people need a bacon egg & cheese option!

As a kid who grew up outside of NYC, bagels were a daily staple for breakfast. I haven't found a good one since I lived in NJ (and I'm in the bakery biz). Gotta say, these were outta the park fantastic! The rosemary with sea salt and veggie cream cheese may have made me have a bit of a religious moment. I wish y'all were out in Marietta. I'd be in heaven.

This spot has a cool old-timey flare with great customer service. I got “The Suffolk” (pictured) which was pretty good. I chose a sea salt & olive oil bagel and plain cream cheese. It was super salty, but that was my fault. I wouldn’t recommend choosing a bagel with salt in its name to pair with “The Suffolk” since it has capers. The inside is pretty small but there’s a few places to sit. There’s also a few tables outside.

I was craving a good bagel and my partner suggested we make the journey over to East Atlanta for Emerald City bagels. I am so glad we did! The bagels themselves were fresh and had great flavor. But the cream cheese of the month is what made the experience stand out. This month the Fire Roasted Jalapeño and Crispy Chihuahua cheese was by far the best cream cheese I’ve had. I do like jalapeños and spicy things so this was right up my alley but I suspect that this is a great representation of the unique flavors Emerald City offers regularly. We went on Sunday morning but it wasn’t too busy and we were even able to sit at one of the few inside window seats.

Bagels: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Great bagel shop. Lots of different sandwich/bagel selections. The bagels/fillings/cream cheeses are delicious and flavorful but can be a bit salty for some people. Recommendations: LOX Bagel. Try their coffee as well.

Love the name and the locations. This cute establishment sits in East Atlanta Village. You can parallel park on the side of the street or park across when you walk inside. It’s quite small but I can definitely say during the weekend it is fully packed out in the morning to try to get there early if you don’t wanna wait, super long. The best is to place an order online and just pick up. I’ve tried a lot of things on the menu and I still love the classic lox. Today I tried that they are new bagel, which was the pumpkin Sage. I love trying their cream cheeses as well today I had the garlic cream cheese. My next favorite The Nassau - white fish salad on a bagel of your choice. For those of you who do not like fish the classic bacon, egg and cheese on sesame bagel is delicious! 🥯 Overall, I really love this bagel location. There’s not many great ones in Atlanta and I would say this is one of the best.

I had a cinnamon bagel with plain cream cheese. It was pretty good, but I thought the bagel was a bit too salty...it was just a bit too weird tasting for me since I expected it to be a little bit more sweet than salty and almost savory. Because of this, I do prefer other bagel places in the Atlanta area.

Sandwiches are the best, bagels always fresh. Vibe is awesome. Customization of sandwiches can be slightly difficult (adding an egg is given on the side). It's not going to be your fast paced NYC bagel diner, so know you'll be waiting a bit. It's the south y'all. Worth it <3

One of the best bagel shops in the city imo. Though this was my first visit to the shop, I had actually been eating their bagels for years because they are sold at a coffee shop near my office. However, I've been working from home since the pandemic, so I had not had t them for quite a while. I tracked them down and couldn't be happier. The jalapeno bagel is my absolute favorite, it's spicy, cheesy and the bagel has the perfect pull when you but it. It is also preservative free which is even better. Today I tried the onion, garlic bagel with bacon and egg and it too was excellent! Great bagels, great location, great service what more could a guy ask for. I recommend them, just try to leave me a few jalapeno bagels please.

Today was my first time visiting. The place was packed… To me that’s a good sign…people like their food. I ordered a salted bagel with vegan cream cheese, cream cheese had a strong overpowering flavor of tofu…..wasn’t that great and probably won’t order it again. I found the bagels to be a little bit harder than I would have liked, l but overall doable. My biggest complaint would be the hygiene practices. The young lady at the front who was pulling the ticket orders was l scratching her arm, above her eye and her face with her gloved hand and then picking up our bagels and putting them through the toaster. Not sure why she didn’t think to change her gloves after she contaminated her gloves, but it left me feeling kinda icky. Also, noticed other employees touching their hair, neck, and going right back to make a sandwiches. Not sure if I will eat here again. Maybe today was just a bad day???

For these being bagels in Atlanta these bagels were decently good. Only slightly bias after enjoying traditional New York bagels recently. We bought two bagels, just one with cream cheese and one an actual sandwich with meat and such. Both of the breading were a bit chewy and slightly dry. The bagels are on the smaller side. Overall the bagel was 3.8/5. But the staff was very friendly and I love the decor of the shop. I have considered coming back and trying a different bagel and may update my review then. I’d recommend coming and trying for yourself! (We ordered the everything bagel with veg creme cheese (yum) and a ‘starlighter’ everything bagel.

The bagels are pretty good! They have a great selection in bagels and a pretty good menu paired with it. It is a bit costly for it not to be a full breakfast but they are very accommodating. No real room to eat, more of a "grab and go."

You know.. I have to be honest. Finding a good bagel spot as a transplant has been quite difficult. I am so pleased here consistently with just the customer service. The atmosphere and bagel selections are truly something. I have even referred it to all my clients and they adore the staff and the amazing selections as well. Thank you all for having us. For new comers, I took a few shots of my favorite bagel to go. @minalco 📸

Top quality bagel (not just in Atlanta but in the world!) I've enjoyed a bunch of variations and special spreads and everything has been epic. Also really love the fresh sodas they make. One of the best of Atlanta.

Great bagels and zero complaints! The bagels themselves are outstanding and I'd definitely recommend the rosemary and sea salt. Great combo and perfect sprinkles of salt! Best of all; Emerald City is vegan friendly!! They have vegan cream cheese, hummus, and mashed avocado as options. Big fan! Only feedback would be to let me put hummus AND cream cheese on my bagel when I order online (I can only choose one). Great weekend brekkie

A cute local spot with a classic aesthetic and good, but not great, bagels. The bagels were pretty bready without a ton of flavor; I personally prefer mine with a slight chew and light sourdough-ish flavor. They went heavy on the bacon for the BEC sandwich, which is always appreciated! The pastrami was a little dry and more cheese would probably have helped balance it. Overall though, these hit the spot, and Atlanta isn’t a huge bagel city so this is a pretty good spot for the area.
