I was nervous at first because I never tried this place before and Chinese is my favorite food. I ordered chicken fried rice with six wings and it was pretty good. The chicken wings were fried perfectly and the chicken fried rice had a good amount of chicken in it.
Dragon Express is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Food is always hot, fresh, and tasty. The lunch specials or dinner combinations are the best deals. I ordered Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, and it was very flavorful. The sauce was not runny but rather thicker and filled with egg. Delicious! I also ordered House Special Chicken to try for the first time. After placing my order, I called and asked them to make it spicy. They had no issues doing that, and the spice was just right! Egg drop soup was really good. The price was so good at lunch that I ordered dinner too - Chicken Fried Rice, House Lo Mein, and some Crab Angels. I had to taste it all, and everything we ordered is delicious! Never had a bad meal from here, and I order delivery 1-2 times per week from here.
I just left the restaurant and this is by far the best Chinese food I’ve had in the city. I would rate it a 9.5/10. It’s very convenient if you want to grab something for dinner really quick. We ordered the beef & broccoli, Mongolian beef, shrimp fried rice, and fries crab rangoons and all of it is absolutely amazing! Our food came out in 10 minutes. Highly recommend!
This is my second time here. The first time I was here the person at the counter was very kind, responsive, and stress-free. On the second occasion, the woman was a little more stressful in her voice/ tone, but responsive and courteous. On my first try the food was solid but not spectacular. On my second try I got the shrimp with broccoli with sa cha sauce, extra spicy. They were flexible enough to let me substitute the sauce and get it extra spicy.
The dining room is still closed. This place seems very popular based on the number of delivery drivers that go through here.
Overall, this is your common neighborhood Chinese restaurant. It's clean. The pricing is about normal for this area of town and they're fast. A good place to get Chinese takeout. And you're supporting a local business, a family business it seems.
I’ve never eaten at Dragon Express before, but when I saw it on DoorDash, I thought I’d give it a try. Ordered the Roast Pork Fried Rice, with hot & sour soup, side of egg rolls and a slice of cheesecake to finish it off. Order arrived correct, complete and packaged well for delivery.
The pork fried rice was pretty basic...just rice, pork and a small sprinkle of tiny chopped herbs. There were no veggies at all. Pork was cooked really well, and had a nice subtle sweetness to it, and the rice had a hint of sesame oil and maybe a touch of ginger. It was quite tasty.
The hot & sour soup was basic as well. It was very flavorful without a lot of black pepper like some other places do. The egg rolls were basic egg rolls. Nice and crispy on the outside and moist and tasty inside.
The cheesecake was delicious. Very smooth & creamy (and very fresh).
Overall I was pleasantly surprised at how good the entire meal was. Was a good value for the price. I would certainly order from here again.
Food was Fantastic! You get quantity AND quality. My meal came with complementary egg-roll, soup, fortune cookie, noodle chips and shrimp already came with my rice 🤯. My favorite Chinese restaurant on this side of town. I have absolutely no affiliation! I just appreciate their service!
I ordered the chicken fried which was very good but a little on the expensive side cuz it cost $11 plus tax. Inflation sucks.
Don't feel welcome to eat inside at all.

Vegetables served were large in size. This denotes laziness in the kitchen.
Fried items didn't seem very fresh.

This is a great place for quick Chinese takeout. The food is good and delivery is pretty fast. Whenever I'm not in the mood to cook or go out to eat I'm usually ordering from here. The Buffalo wings here are amazing! I order the other dishes too but I always start off with the Buffalo wings.
I have been ordering from here for about 4 years now. I have had their food dozens of times. Every single time the food is hot, delicious, properly packed, and great portions. Consistency is key and they definitely have that down.
So, a review, um. Simply the best. Sure, I've been ordering from Dragon Express longer than I've been finding things with Google Maps. Their food (make mine Moo Goo Gai Pan) is not just the best Chinese delivery in town it's the best Chinese in town period. Huge, fresh vegetables and meats, Yunmy egg drop soup. Crab Angels to die for. Yum!
My most favorite Chinese food place since 2005. Fast, friendly, hot and yummy. I love this place so much that my kids enjoy eating here as well.
I have ordered two maybe three times from Dragon Express. The food is awesome! This evening it was so god and so fresh! I had to call and tell them! I’m picky too so when I say I recommend them you can take it to the bank!
The food at this location is very tasty, and they always have the food ready when you go to pick it up. The staff are very friendly. The meals are a little bit on the high side
I had their shrimp lo mein and it was AMAZING! The shrimp egg rolls were quite tasty as well! I definitely recommend Dragon Express for all of your Chinese food cravings!!! I will be back again and again and again!!! Absolutely delicious!!!
