I ordered the Bourbon St. Shrimp basket and added ranch on the shrimp. My order was fresh and hot. The overall basket was okay. What would have made it better for my taste buds if the shrimp were covered in the bourbon sauce instead of drizzled on. You will need to purchase a sauce for dipping the fries, which were tasty.
There is a sitting area behind the truck consisting of some picnic tables. Ideal for nice weather days.
The customer service was 5 star. There was only one person onsite the day I went, and she handled everything smoothly and gave great service.
My only other suggestion is to put an "Order Here" sign above the tablet because every first timer who walked up while I was there had to be informed to order on the tablet.
The food is made fresh and hot. You might have to wait a minute but it's worth it!! The atmosphere is always a vibe especially when the owners come out to speak to everyone. The chicken and beignets were good and it didn't just taste like dough. They even put the sauce on the side for my chicken like I requested. I love a good fried shrimp/ fries and the sauce on top was a plus. I've been back a couple times..
One of the best experiences I’ve had in Atlanta was this @cafebourbonst food truck. With my fam being from Louisiana, this was definitely worth experiencing.
Jambalaya Egg Rolls were so good, filled with chicken, shrimp, sausage and rice covered in that savory spicy sauce. Goodness gracious. Easily a Top 5 appetizer - 4.5/5
Bourbon St Wings were on point. The flavor was everything, the chicken was juicy and tender while being crispy and crunchy. Fries were also on point, nicely seasoned and fried well - 4/5
The Shrimp Po’ Boy was amazing. Bro, when I say this po’ was on point… The bread was nice and soft, you receive a lot of shrimps and they were cooked perfectly and very well seasoned. This was topped with some of that cafe bourbon sauce… I wish I ordered two - 4.5/5
Original Beignets were fried, light, fluffy and delicate to the bite. A lot of powered sugar but a small dust off ain’t never hurt nobody - 4/5
Finally got a chance to visit. The wings were big, juicy, and very flavorful. The beignets were okay. I think I would like a different flavor. The bourbon fries were SO good! Customer service was good as well. Proud to support!
After months almost a little over a year I finally got to try café Bourbon Street restaurant. It has exceeded my expectations and I would definitely go back to try their wings. They shrimp with the bourbon special sauce was out of this world will definitely bring all my family and friends.
The fried chicken in this store is very delicious. I can't help but order a lot of fried chicken every time, and then there are very few hamburgers. My stomach really likes fried chicken
Stopped by here after my hair appointment next door and I was NOT disappointed! I got a shrimp poboy, half and half bourbon and Cajun wings w/fries and of course some beignets….. mannnnnnn the food coma me and my homegirl were in…I woke up just to leave this review lol also the poboy didn’t make it out of the parking lot 😂
Great first time eating cafe bourbon. The fries were cooked great, the shrimp po boy was good, and the jambalaya egg rolls was great too. I went to the food truck after going to Snkrr Bar in the west end. Would recommend and go again! Line wasn’t long and the food was ready within 10-15 mins.
I have been coming to Cafe Bourbon St for awhile now and have never been disappointed by the food or the customer service. Since I'm not a seafood eater, I stick to the Bourbon wings and my favorite, the Bourbon ranch fries. And because the Bourbon sauce is so good, I bought a bottle to have at home. The gumbo, when in season, is absolutely delicious. You will love whatever you decide to buy!
I love the new location! It has enough parking and is very clean and comfortable. If you're in the area, it's definitely a place you want to put on your list to visit.
It doesn’t make any sense that their food is that good. I am not really a fried shrimp person but theirs hit the mark. It was cooked and seasoned just right. Their ranch fries are a menu must have. I will definitely be back. The wait was long even with no one in line. I suspect it is because people placed their order online which I will do next time.
