Went there on a Friday night my family. Didn’t like the people outside begging for money but the restaurant itself was nice. Had to pay $8 for 2 hr car park and food was average but vibe was good.

Stopped in to grab some lunch and found a wing spot I would recommend if in the area. I got them "hot" which I would classify as mild - but the flavor was good. They had a nice crisp on the wing, but they were are the small side. Perfect for me, but if you are a big eater...order a larger order. The fries were really good and so was the ranch dressing!

They aren't at all what they used to be(not much is), but Crickets is one of those places I had so much of they always have a spot in my stomach. Even if it is only like 1-2 every year. Steep quality drop over the years. Three Mile Island was at one time the hottest thing I attempted to consume. They were so hot that my Dad could only eat one, I ate two & then we threw all of them away. My nose began to run and my lips burned at the first bite. Now TMI flavor is barely even distinguishable from Hot. Also know that each franchise tends to be uniquely run. This one offers delivery. Others offer all you can eat and $.25 wing specials while others do not.

I have been eating wings at this location for four years now and have never had anything bad or bad service! I wish they would open one in Savannah so I wouldn't have to drive so far for awesome wings! Anytime I know that someone is going to Atlanta, I always have them stop by and pick me up that famous hot wing sauce until I can make a trip myself! Hot, crispy and swimming is how I get mine! The fried mushrooms, chili cheese fries, ribs and cheese steak are awesome as well! I also sport around a JR Crickets t-shirt. The owner made three trips to storage to get me the shirts I wanted. Very nice folks and awesome food!

Big Fan. I love the place. I travel every week for my job. I was in my hotel after midinght and the desk lady told me that J.R. Crickets on Spring STdelivers very late. I was not expecting anything good...Boy was I in for a Great surprise! The Baby Back Ribs very perfect and the Philly Steak was as good as I get in South Philly. The next night I had Waffles & Wings...again great. I will call them each visit to Atlanta.

Great spot for chicken wings. This place is great. It's right in the middle of everything but a little hard to find. It's right off the freeway near North Avenue. The chicken wings are awesome! They're not very big but they are so tasty. They have Buffalo style and lemony pepper. When I'm hungry, I usually order the burger. They're huge! They have a decent selection of beers, including Yuengling. Oh yeah, the tiny parking lot is hard to find also. It's behind the restaurant at the end of the skinny alley the runs beside the building

When I arrived in Atlanta and asked what the signature dish was I needed to try, the consensus was unanimous: lemon pepper wings. One of the places recommended was JR Crickets, and they did not disappoint. Both the dry and wet lemon peppers were amazing and had a great crisp to them. The ranch is a clutch companion with the intensity of the seasoning! I ordered takeaway and the food traveled well. Would recommend! 🍗

I was recommended the cascade drip and boy were they fantastic. The wings had a great crisp to them, they were tender and juicy. The sauce was good and sticky with a great balance of sweet and spicy. The fries were crinkle cut and fantastic as well. We asked for a drink that the bartender never heard of, but he was more than happy to improvise and mix us up something similar to what we asked for. My wife had the garlic Parmesan wings. They were a little bland on flavor, but still cooked well. I would not hesitate to go back and order the cascade drip wings again. They were excellent!

The original lemon pepper is amazing. Best seasoned wings you'll get. The chicken itself is a little weak but it's perfectly seasoned. Lemon pepper wet is delicious too definitely worth a try. I'd avoid the 3 mile, it's supposed to be spicy, but it isn't at all and it's a bit bland. Getting the lemon pepper and lemon pepper wet is a must for sure.

We got the dirty bird flavored wings, fried chicken breast sandwich, pork ribs and fries. It was all delicious and loved how tender the ribs were! Great and friendly service! Food came out very quickly! Plan to be back with friends! Appreciated that they gave us small trays for bones/ketchup.

These wings are the best wings I’ve had since moving to Atlanta. I love that they are open til 2am, even on a Sunday night. They do have parking on site, however the lot can get full quickly. The inside is very lowkey, just a regular tuck shop/bar vibe. You seat yourself, and sometimes you order at the counter, sometimes there is a waitress, but there’s really no way to tell. The food is always oversalted, but other than that, it is great. Their ranch sauce is great. Note: they do NOT take phone orders anymore. They literally do not have a public phone number, and if you want to order takeout, you have to come in person to place it, and then wait.

So this was an interesting experience. Coming from Ontario I wasn’t sure what to expect at all. The environment, the service, the people were very interesting but mostly very kind. Take in this review Is based off a 1am trip to the store on a Friday evening. I went with about 8 people most of whom got the dirty bird wings and apparently they’re incredible. I got the lemon pepper wet and they weren’t that bad, in fact better than most wings. The fries on the other hand were incredible. Will try the wings again and update my review…

Everything was excellent. I had the fish sandwich with fries and it was delicious. My son ordered wings and shrimp with fries. His wings had so much flavor he ate every bit of it. My guy had the veggie wrap with fries and he said it was flavorful. This will be one of our go to places to eat for sure when we're back in town.

Wish I could leave 10 starts. First off I received stellar customer service so I had already walked out of the door feeling amazing and well served. Now for the food. My word the food was out of the world! I’m talking down to the ranch dressing and blue cheese. I ordered wings with shrimp, fries, and a side of onion rings. Best onion rings I’ve ever had by the way. I got 2 different flavors in my order of wings. Lord them dang wings was hitting. At some point I slowed down to see if I could figure out what seasonings they were using. Then that ranch sauce had a throw down wit the wings. I’m visiting family here but the food was so amazing I now dream of owning a JR. Crickets franchise. Only in Atlanta for a few days but I’ll definitely be back.

J. R. Crickets is known for their amazing wings. I tried the lemon pepper wet wings with shrimp and onion rings. The wings were DELICIOUS. I definitely see why they are one of the best wing spots. Shrimp and onion rings were good as well. You order food at the bar and then seat yourself. I will be returning to try more wing flavors and find a favorite. Staff was nice. Atmosphere can use updating but was ok.

JR Crickets was the 3rd restaurant I visited when I moved here for college. I’ve been to every location from 1992-2005, with the original restaurant on Spring Street being my favorite spot. Now that I’m back in Atlanta & even as a Vegan, I took the opportunity to pick up a To-Go order for my Daughter. The irony is when she was young, it was all things Medium & Lemon Pepper wings. Now all she craves & raves about is the Lemon Pepper Shrimp. Upon arriving here, the first thing I did was ask for Paul, the OG Owner. Although he was back in NY, I had to let his staff know how great of a person he was back in the day...& still is. Not only on the ethos of offering true Buffalo, NY style wings as a staple & great customer service...Paul always made you feel welcome no matter who are or where you’re from. If I ever revert from Veganism, Jr. Crickets is my first stop to indulge.

Went in after a show at The Fox. Despite the late hour, we got seated quickly. Our server was amazing. Very bubbly and attentive. One person in our group wanted a Bloody Mary, which isn't on the menu. However, she came back a few minutes later with one, so we appreciated that extra attention the staff gave to our group. Food was good, too.

Amazing!! Best wings ever!! Top notch service! Best music! Comfortable cool atmosphere, laid back and urban with comfort! And they actually have parking!! In the middle of downtown Atlanta! You know that's unheard of! And the homemade blue cheese makes the fresh celery sticks compete with these awesome wings! I'm not a wings person usually But due to the perfection of the crispiness and the seasoning and the freshness of their chicken, I think I have become one!! I ordered a 10 piece to go, split medium hot buffalo and lemon pepper with extra celery sticks I finished them in the truck and went back in and ordered a 20 piece plus 4 extra blue cheese cups to take home to my husband! They were truly that good!! I'll be back! Again and again!!😍 Thank you ladies, you are awesome!! And chef's behind the scene, I didn't see you but you're doing the damn thing!!! 5 stars!! Easy!! Thank you for the best lunch break I've had in years!!

It's an old dive restaurant with TVs well-placed throughout to watch sports. They are famous for their wings. Their food is good but I rate them high on value. For $20 I got 10 delicious lemon pepper wings, a piece of fried fish, and fries. Waitstaff was friendly and helpful. I'd recommend them to any hungry person looking for relief from food inflation.

Everybody kept referring me to this place for some good fried fish, and it did not disappoint. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by this lady with amazing energy. Who helped me out right away. She told me what were the crowd favorites, and got my order right in. I got the turkey burger which was cooked perfectly, and the fried fish, which was cooked perfectly as well. And just the right amount of breading. Will definitely be coming back
