Semi-hidden cafe in midtown near Piedmont park. It's on a "side street" and doesn't feel like part of the busier city area. They were only serving sandwiches when I went (bummer, was hoping to try the egg bowl!). The dark roast drip was very standard coffee, but the strawberry lemonade was really yummy. Reminded me to fresh-squeezed state fair lemonade. The Garden sandwich and the Classic sandwich were both a lot better than I expected them to be! The classic sandwich had a nicely baked, buttery croissant around a simply egg and cheese melt. The garden sandwich (largely due to the unique hummus blend) was very savory and the covering naan helped keep it together. Super recomend this cafe for the food over the drinks!
Lord have mercy this is the new "NY TASTE" spot for my bacon, egg and cheese. The customer service was beyond immaculate. The place is nice, and very friendly. but baby when I tell you, I' bit into the sandwich and it was just so good. Oh my gosh, you have to get the bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant.
This cafe is so cute and just the right vibe for me. The music selection is fire and the atmosphere is so inviting. The whole set up gives millennials and I love it. I had the lavender latte iced, it was so good didn’t taste fake or artificial not bitter or too sweet. One of the best I’ve had in a while. I also had the classic sandwich with fried egg tomato spinach and cheese on a croissant. Super delicious. I was here at 9am cause I wanted breakfast before my volunteer shift and I wanted coffee and they were literally walking distance from Piedmont and open bright and early. The staff is super friendly and service is fast. This will be my new spot Saturday mornings.
ALWAYS a great time. Food cooked to order with love. Outdoor seating perfect for your laptop or dog. Great coffee. I always get a turkey sandwich when I go! Great pesto. Good cocktails, mimosas, and beer choices. Live events and weekly happenings. Daily theme. Everyone loves the owner. Recently renovated! Has bar seating now as well. Great custom service!

First, I wanna say that the team is absolutely responding to the reviews on here if any of the negative reviews were true. None of the issues I read are still present.
One review mentions being unable to spot the health inspection score which is plainly posted above the drink pickup desk.
Our food and coffee were great with only one note: our hashbrowns weren't salted or were under salted. I still loved them regardless because I'd all but eat the potato raw, but my partner wasn't a fan because of that. So to whoever said they over-salt them: you're either wrong or they listened to you!
Very friendly staff; I believe the owner/manager took our order. Didn't catch his name, but he's a very friendly and energetic person.
Wait time wasn't excessive like some people mention. Everything was made to order and the place was busy; I expected double the wait time.
Definitely check this place out if you're in the area. A place like this almost makes me wanna be a local, but I simply cannot pretend city living is for me.

Quality service, great menu, quaint spot and good food! I’ve been here a couple times and have had great experiences. Love their more unique breakfast menu that isn’t the same stuff you get everywhere and honestly their service is always top tier, above and beyond what you ever get most places, their staff is FANTASTIC!
CUTE neighborhood vibe! I got the dirty bird and a cinnamon lavendar latte. I requested 2/3 the amount of milk as a normal latte and it was perfect! Great service, good food, and excellent espresso!
Partner and I had breakfast here on a recent Saturday. I had The Reg and liked it alot. He had a sandwich that came on a bagel. He liked it but the bagel was suuuuper toasty. Like, biscotti texture. Still good, just surprising. Coffee was good and service was quick.
Pretty cool spot for a nice cup of coffee and a dessert. The scone I ordered was cinnamon flavored and the person behind the counter heated it up. It was super moist and delicious. The coffee was made perfectly. The atmosphere in this place is well suited to get some work done, read, or just chat with some friends.
Love this little cafe! There’s also a full bar inside and sandwiches/snacks. I came here to do some interview prep with a small group of friends it was the perfect setting. I would visit again in a heartbeat!

I ordered the special sandwich, and an ice caramel late. It was amazing!!!!!!! We loved everything we ate and the person at the bar was so cool and happy. We will be back!
Stopped in here for coffee in the evening and enjoyed it. Wife and I reach got an iced coffee. Plenty of options that you would expect a coffee shop to have. Indoor and outdoor seating, wine and alcohol specials as well. Wednesday had $15 bottles and $5 glasses of wine.
Best coffee I've had since I got here about a week ago. I cant remember the baristas name but she was awesome. It was like 30 minutes before closing and she took care of us with awesome customer service. Next time I come back this will definitely be my first stop.
I've loved my experience every time that I've been to Cafe Lucia. Coffee is great, staff was helpful and quick, and I felt comfortable being able to sit and work for a bit. 10 outta 10.
