Very nice staff and the food was really good. I had the catfish with green beans (amazing with onions and mushrooms in them) and pinto beans (flavored with bacon, need I say more?). Do go hungry because you get a lot of food. Definitely recommend and will be coming on my next visit to Dallas.
My daughter and I have visited six times now. Each time it gets better! Love the fried zucchini! The grilled pimento sandwich w/bacon is my current fave! The coleslaw is yummy! Fries are handcut and also wonderful! And don't forget the bourbon pie! OMG! The staff are awesome! My daughter(autistic) has made a special friend that works the cash register. Her name is Kinely. Great place and awesome people!
Excellent food. I had the BLT and salad and my wife had the chicken fried steak. The BLT was loaded with crisp bacon and the chicken fried steak was tender and lots of flavor. We will be back on our return trip to Texas.
My club rode in to moms on a Sunday morning for breakfast and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food!!! A nice gentleman came by and asked us about our club and where we are from and wished us a safe ride and hoped that he sees us back again in the near future. Super great place and people.
You can not find a better place for great home cooking!!! Blows Cotton Patch out of the water!! Everything is made fresh their rolls are the best and the pie case oh my god are you kidding me!!!
Great food and friendly staff. They have a killer buffalo chicken sandwich as well.

I bring Durward Miller here Monday - Friday for lunch. He eats his usual every day! Fried catfish, fries, home cooked roll & Dr Pepper. The homemade soups & desserts are amazing. And you can't get a better cheeseburger anywhere else like Mom's.
My husband and I drove an hour each way to have dinner here. It was well worth the drive! A great meal in the quaint town of Aubrey. We will be back!
I like steak for breakfast! Lol I enjoyed World Famous MOMS steak, eggs, and biscuits! Pretty nice place to eat and see all the different antiques decorations.
It didn't have the sewer smell like the comment below mentioned. You can smell the amazing food π ππ

The food and service was superb - Logan's terrific! The cold temperature and the sewer-like smell are the only reasons I didn't give 5 stars. The smell is not overbearing, but I noticed it as we walked in and then a bit while seated. The decor is awesome - some of the antiques are exactly like some that we had in our home growing up! Very cool! Logan was working the entire front himself and he was as attentive and accommodating as business allowed. He had a great sense of humor and did a great job! I am vegetarian, and as I expected, there aren't many "meal" options; however, I loved the homemade mashed potatoes and vegetables and the homemade cole slaw was delicious! The carrot cake was also good! My Mom started with the buffalo chicken salad but had underestimated the level of "heat", lol π₯π. I ordered her grilled chicken to swap and our meal went much better π. Her salad was large, my sides were minimal, but overall the experience was good and I'm anxious to visit again when there isn't such a draft, Lol. I'm looking forward to trying the breakfast menu! ππ»
Finally got to enjoy this little gem for weekend breakfast and not disappointed. Eggs Benedict was super tasty and the hash browns were perfect!

Called ahead and they said there was a 15 minute wait. Got there and was seated shortly after arriving. Wait staff was very nice, they were very, very busy. Had our drinks quickly, took our order and it didn't take long considering how busy they were. We had the fried green tomatoes for our appetizer and I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and fried okra. My wife had the apple stuffed French toast. Both our meals were delicious. We really enjoyed our visit and when in the area we'll definitely be back!
Incredible onion rings. The shrimp was great and tartar sauce was even better! The green beans were interestingly different but in a good way because it had onions and mushrooms. Fried okra great. Excellent service. Really impressed with the service!! The only disappointment was the buttermilk pie which was just ok, not great because it had a strange kind of grainy texture. The chicken fried steak was good but kinda tough. Service 5/5 but food 4/5. Cute place though. The fresh baked rolls were hot and swoonworthy with butter.
