I LOVE the Auburn Raley's!! It is so much nicer than any other grocery stores, even other Raley's. They have a wonderful variety of fantastic health, organic and vegan foods. The people are friendly...even the customers at this store seem to be more friendly. It is my favorite place to shop!
I go to this Raley's quite often, usually after work and picking up my little guys. The staff is always very friendly to myself and most of all my 4 and 2 year old. Tonight around 6pm we stopped by to grab a few groceries before heading home, and as we went through the checkout line my son asked for a balloon. The cashier then turned and asked her bag helper (wish I knew her name) if they had any. She then went over and asked the girl in floral if she could get the boys a balloon. While the florist got them a balloon the other girl grabbed them a mandarin from the fruit and peeled it for them. The florist then brought the balloons, which lit my kids faces up.
Ultimately, the best part is the fact that they took the time to do the small gestures that meant a lot. Thank you guys very much for displaying such great customer service and friendly attitudes. Keep up the good work!
A very pleasant experience while in Auburn... Welcoming and friendly!
Love it
Very friendly & pharmacy is nice also
Living in close proximity to this Raley’s location has made it my go-to spot for household necessities, and it never disappoints. The deli’s impressive selection of meats is a standout, with the turkey pastrami being a personal favorite. The array of cheeses complements the meat offerings, adding to the overall culinary experience.
While Raley’s may not be the most budget-friendly store, savvy shoppers can capitalize on the deals and discounts available through the app. Utilizing the app has proven to be a game-changer, unlocking some fantastic steals on various products, particularly in the meat department. This aspect makes the overall shopping experience more cost-effective and enjoyable.
The staff at Raley’s deserves commendation for their consistently kind and helpful demeanor. Whether I have questions about products or need assistance finding items, the staff members have always been approachable and accommodating.
This is a real supermarket with a wide variety of food, beverages, health, beauty, and cleaning products. The prices are high, so you may want to check out Grocery Outlet first. I appreciate the eCart option that allows me to shop from home and just swing by and pick up what I've ordered. There's ample parking here and a few other interesting stores in this little mall.
I like the fact you can serve your own food bar with soups though there weren't any when I was there but nonetheless the store is well organized and more well lit. I like the nice friendly store and go here when I stop to go to reno.
Almost always make a stop here on the way to Alta. Fresh veggies, great meat selection, excellent bake shop with well informed bakers and pleasant personnel.
Plenty of parking and easy to find. Very nice Asian section. This store has Angelo Pietro Salad dressings and Yamasa soy sauce. These are two of favorite Asian products. I cook with them every week. The selection in the seafood and meat department is very nice.

When I go shopping here I never understand how my grocery bill is $200+ yet I leave with no groceries… however the bartenders there are great
Raley's is my go to place, when I want quality items. It's not a place you'll save money, but you'll get the best of the best locally. I noticed the employees didn't acknowledge the shoppers or offer any assistance. Otherwise, I would have given a five star rating. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY
Great grocery store! Very clean and organized. Very friendly and helpful employees. Items are easily found and displayed.
Convenient, quick access in and checking out too. But they are very pricy even their bags of ice are more than gas station/convenient stores! Great deli, coffee, and bakery good conveniently located up front to the left side of the store. BIG SELECTION AND CONSISTENTLY MARKET FRESH FOODS with an un surpassed quality to it all.
One of my favorites. Wide isles. well lighted but not over bearing light, and so organized.
Trendy products.
Lots of interesting items.
Love their cold boxes, so large and a huge variety of foods to choose from.
The of the Best of the Best!
Pros:
Very clean & well-organized. Easy to read signage. Produce & aisle depts are fully stocked with good quality. If Raley's carries an item, there's good selection within types [e.g., over a dozen kinds of pickled cucumbers]. Staff are more than polite -- they are warm, helpful, & appear sincere; their work is efficient.
UPDATE: There's a lot of ice cream/frozen novelties: MANY brands & some interesting flavors, though the "exclusive" ones are pretty expensive.
I got 4 pack of matcha popsicles with brown sugar boba -- $7 on sale [usually $9]. I thought it was ok 7/10; 1 nephew didn't like the frozen boba; 2nd kid gave it 9/10, & also immediately asked if there were other flavors.
Cons:
A little pricey (but I think the environment & staff are worth it). No staff on the floor, only at checkout. Not much depth in a category [e.g., only pickled cukes, only other pickles was 1 giardiniera *UPDATE: Added 1 "dilly bean" pickle.*]
VERY limited "ethnic" items, in aisles and especially in fresh depts like produce & bakery. Frozen "ethnic" is mainstream: Tai Pei & Ling Ling appetizers, for example.
Prone to run out of "specials" early. E.g., Saturday AM, LOTS of empty spaces where advertised discount items used to be. Hope they'll restock before the sale ends, but that's pretty inconvenient for me to return.
UPDATE: noticed A LOT of missing price signs in produce section. Continuing issues with running out of sale items, in produce, frozen section, & on shelves.
What I consider normal, regular stuff is not stocked: lemon extract, chocolate cookie crust. Sporadically stocked: Graham cracker crusts [never the tart size], buttermilk, yeast.
Very cheerful atmosphere, every dtaff member is helpful and professional!
Needed pepsi and draini.
They had both. BUT! When did stores stop actually selling the normal 12 oz bottled of pepsi? These new thinner bottles suck.
Also why no pepsi in a glass bottle? Youv have coke!
Get it together, Raleys.
Comfortable atmosphere good people.
The people who work here are awesome! Anita in produce helped me find everything I needed yesterday, even went in the back to find me some beautiful fresh strawberries. The guys in the frozen were very helpful as well. One found me the fudge pops in the back stock (shipment day) and another gentleman offered me a cart. Lovely experience with checkout ladies. Very sweet. This team rocks! Great vibes. Thanks again, everyone!
