We were able to get a table on short notice after our grandson's hockey tournament and the Charles Dickens Christmas in Skaneatles.
This restaurant is dated... the atmosphere, service & food was excellent!
My grandson had an Italian combo plate, my wife the Lasagna and I had the sausage cacciatore.
The sausage was so tender it melted in your mouth... just like my mother-in-law to make it!
Very comfortable food but to save a couple dollars bring cash... they charge 3% more paying with credit card.
That's too bad since that directly affects the tip for the service. Realistically, a good business model is to just raise the price by 3% so the consumer doesn't get a sense of being forced to cheapen the tip of the wonderful service folks.
I mean how can you not love this place? Excellent service, food is out of this world, and vino is always good! The quality of service and food is always 5 stars, we love having date night at the Hollywood.
This was my first visit to the Hollywood Restaurant. The hostess was really nice and personable. Our server was quick to take our orders. What was nice and doesn't happen that often is once we were done with the appetizers, salad or drinks, we were brought the next serving. The sampler appetizer was tasty, my spaghetti and meatballs were excellent and very filling, and the service was great! Glad we stopped!
The food was absolutely spectacular. Portion size was awesome. I got the pasta combo and the sauce was seasoned super well.
Friendliest staff and delicious food! We had the best time here and will definitely be back, the most welcoming place ever, thank you!
Excellent food, we drive a long distance for their veil Parm. employees are very friendly and accommodating. one of our party had chicken parmeter, it was served on a plater, the chicken hung over the plater.
Top of our list of places to go for dinner!
Their dinner salad could not be better. The lettuce and vegetables are very fresh and crisp.

Had a loved one pass away recently and wanted to do a dinner that was her absolute favorite in honor of her. Hollywood couldn’t accommodate the size of our group but had no problem at all catering a meal for large group of us with her favorite meal!

Mother's Day Lunch.
We had lost a reservation at another local establishment due to them over booking their dining room and I was notified a week before Mother's Day so you can imagine the panic. We had resigned ourselves that we would need to order takeout catering so I called without much hope but I spoke with a very friendly and patient gentleman who was willing to work with me! As we were speaking he asked how many were in our party and I advised 11. He said if we were willing to come at the beginning of service he could accommodate us in house!
We showed up a bit early and were immediately seated in a lovely dining area with plenty of space for us to spread out and not be on top of each other. The Hostess was very friendly and our waitress Karen was absolutely outstanding! Our appetizers and soups/salads were quick to arrive and delicious! The children's menu portions were generous as were the sizes of the adult mains. The veal was excellent as was the prime rib and steaks that were ordered and they were cooked perfectly! I do have to call out the chicken parmesan because it was HUGE! Tender and juicy it filled the entire plate and I highly recommend it!
Overall we had a lovely Mother's Day meal and I would recommend The Hollywood to anyone in the Auburn area who has not dined here!
By far the best Italian Restaurant in Central New York. I’ve been going here for almost 30 years and it’s amazing. Never had a bad meal. Food quality and taste has been consistent. If I could go every week, I would. The ravioli is to die for, especially the ricotta. I wish I knew the recipe to make it at home. No restaurant can touch Hollywood or come close to it. You won’t be disappointed
