Reviews Mad Anthony's

Mad Anthony makes a really good breaded tenderloin. The pork is thick and the breading crispy making a good ratio. The bun was decent and held together. I don't like coated french fries, but the wife said they were really good. We especially appreciated that they put our to go in plastic rather than styrofoam so we could recycle it.

I was pleasantly surprised, more than just a bar and bar food. They have a nice selection of craft beer & cocktails with a smaller selection of wine. They do have wine offerings from Country Heritage a local winery we like to visit when we're up this way. My daughter and I both got the peach wheat ale to drink which was flavorful but not overpowering. We were there for lunch, my wife and I got sandwiches and my daughter got a salad. The portions were very generous and we all ended up taking some home because we couldn't finish it (we did have an appetizer of hot soft pretzels which were also very good). The salads, sandwiches and burgers are moderately priced in the $13 to $15 price range. The service was also good at the time we were there.

The restaurant has a good atmosphere. I’d turn up the music 1 notch. You can hear it’s there but it’s so quiet you can hardly tell what’s playing. There was an error with their beer ordering system which caused a longer than necessary wait for the beverage. The Mosaic beer was quite good. The Ruby Raspberry was more sour than I expected. The salad was drenched in dressing - too much! The pulled pork and Mac N Cheese was delicious. The cheese curds and pretzels and cheese appetizer was on point. Meal portions are generous. Only the most hardy appetite could clean their plates. One recommendation is there is one unisex bathroom on the first floor which is not sufficient enough to handle the volume and people often have to wait. I like coming to this place - it’s one of my favorites in the area.

I hadn't been here in a long time and had the pizza for the 1st time. It was great and since they brew their own beer, they add it to their pizza crust. So its like beer bread but crisper. I also highly recommend their house brewed root beer with notes of vanilla and caramel.

Philly cheese, fries, and the Auburn Lager. The fries were amazing. Worth the money.
