Saw J Anthony's earlier in the week and checked out their Google presence. One of the menu pages showed Sunday dinner specials so I came to try one. Alas, another covid death. They still have specials just not the ones I expected. So I tried the Stuffed Salmon with maple glaze and pecan topping. Very good taste. Plenty of seafood stuffing. Lots of pecans. And just a hint of maple flavor. Paired with butternut squash and mashed potatoes a very satisfying meal. It was a little early so I skipped the dessert menu but they had some good choices.
You walk in and it smells like an Italian kitchen. I know because I grew up with one.
The chicken Cacciatore was fantastic. Plenty of chicken, onions, peppers, garlic, over your choice of pasta and that has to be house made sauce.
The lobster Mac and cheese was tasty if you like that kind of dish. I prefer to get Italian food at an Italian restaurant.
If I'm ever in the area I will veer off course for another dish here.
Went to J. Anthony's after my dad's funeral memorial. Waitresses super friendly food super delicious. No one can beat their beer battered fish. On short notice they accommodated our party out on the beautiful patio. We had a great time and my family was extremely happy. Thank you
Today was my second visit and both were awesome. Our server has been working there for 22 years. She was very good and friendly. The food is Coveted locally.
Food was good , horseradish haddock and tortellini. Made a special order and it was easily put through and executed exactly how we wanted. Great experience and service. I will be back for sure.
