Being stationed in Germany, a few times back in the 80's I loved going out to different villages and trying the cuisine of each area in Germany! I have never been here before but I must admit I was pleastly surprised on how authentic tasting the food was! The waitress acknowledged us fairly quickly which is very important... I enjoyed my favorite cocktail of all time the Oz Cola, better known as Asbach Cola! My favorite brandy of all time! I also found some of my favorite chocolate candies in the deli area! I will be back for sure... Totally impressed
Helga's is amazing. I love the atmosphere, food, & staff. Just an overall wonderful place. I highly recommend this place if you have never experienced it.

I love this place we just drove from the springs just to go there. The reihland platter is my favorite and the chocolate cake is seriously the best cake I've ever had. Best German restaurant in colorado.
Was in town on business and stopped by for dinner. Good food, good beer and the staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. If I ever find myself in Aurora, I will eat here again.
Helga’s food is truly authentic. The beer is phenomenal and the service highly attentive. The deli is filled with German delicacies and meats. Helga’s is worthy of a visit!!!

Have to be honest, I didn't think I was going to care for it but boy was I wrong. We had the Flight of beers and pretzels to start, amazing to both. Our entree was the Ribeye with Hunters sauce and mushrooms. Sooooooo good! Black Forest Torte is a must try!
Helga's German Restaurant & Deli is my absolute favorite! Every dish I've had so far has been perfect. If you want authentic German food done right, come here!
