My wife and I came in for a late breakfast and enjoyed it immensely. The eggs were soft and light, the french toast with sweet cream butter tasted like cheese cake, and the waffle like a crisp birthday cake. And the freshly made sausage ... spicy, seasoned, and not too fatty. For a couple, if you order a waffle or french toast plate, I would recommend ordering one and sharing. You won't be disappointed. Oh, and the staff was very well mannered, polite, and attendant. But don't take my word for it, stop by anytime and challenge my review; It's open 24 hours.

OMG!! I’ve never had chicken and waffles but I’m certain these had to be the BEST!! The brow sugar butter on top of a most delicious waffle and the chicken had a flavor that was a perfect compliment. My husband had sweet potato hash served in a bowl as a meal (with eggs) and he couldn’t speak...it was so good. I would even venture to say this was the best breakfast we have ever had!!! And the service was top notch as well. Get on over!

We got the veggie hash and the vegan hash. It tasted very good. We got the small size and couldn’t finish it. The food came out nice and hot. The server we had was very polite and accommodating. Service was fast.

Came to town nd went to 24 Diner for our first Austin food experience. Superb food! My wife had the fried chicken and waffles and I had the pork belly sandwich with Macaroni and cheese. Our server, Melanie, was awesome! She was very pleasant in nature, attentative and knew the menu well. We will be back.

Fantastic farm to table diner with the freshest of everything! If you're in AUSTIN and hungry I suggest the 24 Diner! Their local farm connection for local cheeses and produce says a lot to someone with discerning taste! Thank you chef for the best meal we've had in a while!!!

My mom and I went for the first time and it was great!!! I had the waffle platter and she had the chicken and biscuit. It was a packed house but our server was very tentative, I wish I had not forgotten his name, he was awesome!!! I’ll be bringing the hubby here soon.

It's part of my Austin life now... I wake up and venture down to 24 for the Country Breakfast... That wakeup is a delicious meal of country gravy on grits with an accompaniment of ham. The 24 Diner has delicious food and wonderful service. Kyle is typically my early morning server and he does a super job.

This place is a great contemporary diner. Providing fresh, and natural ingredients with classic diner dishes. I would definitely visit again

Amazing, one of my favorites, the meatloaf is best with some Mac-n-chz, burgers very delish, chicken is great!

The diner is a clean, friendly place. The food was good and it didn't take long to get to our table surprisingly because the place was packed full. I would recommend them to people who want just a quick place to grab a bite. The portions are very large. My wife had a small chicken and waffle plate, and it was still a good size portion. This is definitely a place if you leave hungry, it's your fault.

My waiter was excellent but the experience took longer than I expected. At least the food was amazing, though I was a bit annoyed when my appetizer and meal came out at the same time. Minor details. I would definitely recommend the meatloaf!

Visited this place during a weekend getaway with my girlfriend and her cousins. The wait time was long but it was worth it. My girlfriend really love’s chicken and waffles and she said they were cooked to perfection. I had the biscuit &’ gravy with eggs &’ it was delicious. We also ordered mimosas too. Definitely will try again the next time we visit.

A great little diner with a cozy feel and well-executed classics. Prices were not too bad for the Austin downtown area, and there’s decent parking! Definitely will be back for the Kentucky Bourbon pie and to try more of the menu.

Great place. Huge portions. My husband was looking for a good meatloaf to try, and this place ticked the boxes. Our waitresses was really nice too.

Worth the 45 minutes to get in. Everything that went in my mouth was FANTASTIC. The iced chai with oat milk was mega yummy. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The bacon was crispy and not greasy. The WAFFLES. Omg flavorful. I wish I was able to stomach the whole meal. Definitely recommend.

We ordered chicken and waffles and the eggs benedict, they were both perfection. If we were in town longer we would of gone back multiple times! I want to try everything!

24 Diner was really good! First time visiting and staff was really friendly and helpful. Had the chicken and waffles - the chicken was breaded perfectly and had a great flavor. The waffles were hearty Belgian style. The fries were perfect, slightly soggy yet crispy with skin. And honestly, some of the best diner coffee I've had in a while. Love that they partner with local roasters. Will for sure be back!

Our server was fantastic! My friend was thinking about the vegan sausage. He asked her if she likes beets to which she replied no. He told her that she shouldn't get it then. Many servers would just go for the sale, he talked to us to ensure that we would enjoy our meal, which was wonderful! Great service, great food, would go there again. #TravelWithThema

I had not been to 24 Diner in years and it’s still delicious. Egg sandwich, eggs and bacon plate, chicken biscuit, cinnamon roll and mimosas. Everything is always so good! Eggs Benedict are chef’s kiss!

5/2023 I always wanted to try this place out and today was a good day. I first noticed the parking lot in front was small with tight spaces. I decided parked behind 24 Diner with few cars parked at. There was an outdoor patio but decided to site inside. The place had a cool eccentric appeal and great character. I got that farm to table feeling here and noticed the menu said breakfast served all day every day. The options looked attractive but wanted a lunch item, so I ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich where described it as brioche bun, apricot slaw, chipotle remoulade and I selected dart meat with it. My wife, who was with me, ordered the Roasted Chicken with whipped potatoes and mac & cheese. The service was excellent and very friendly. As I waited I saw a bar with craft beer and a list of different pies to order. Soon our food arrived and my chicken sandwich was huge with the chicken sticking out of it. I also ordered the mac & cheese as a side and it was just delightful. I loved it. The fried chicken has a nice bread-like crust to it where it was not greasy. The chicken in it tasted really good where it was hot and steamy with great flavor. It was one of the best I had. I grabbed my fork and sorted to pick at my wife’s plate to taste the mashed potatoes and roasted chicken. It too was really good and her chicken had a different taste to mine. 24 Diner was definitely a home run where about to start my Austin foodie restaurant marathon.

The chicken wasn’t great as you can see but that Bourbon Pie was spectacular. Atmosphere is nice, it’s in a cool area

Great service! Amazing food! Stopped in for an early Sunday brunch on the way out of town. Was nervous about the parking situation but a spot opened up quickly. We had a small wait but we were seated quickly as well. I save French toast for special occasions and since we were wrapping up our celebrations, I tried the Cereal Encrusted French Toast with Macerated Blueberries and my mouth was in heaven! I never would’ve thought to create such a pairing, but it was a perfect textural compliment. Loved it!
