My fiance and I loved this restaurant! The food and margaritas were so super delicious, the waiter Adrian was extremely friendly, nice, efficient, and professional, and the salsa dancing was incredibly fun! We will recommend this place to our friends and family, and we'll definitely be back! Thank you so much Gloria's restaurant for such a fantastic and memorable evening!
Went for appetizers and cocktails with my friends, food was great and the drinks were amazing, the bartender did an awesome pour. Our waiter Levi was great not only was his service prompt and on point he had us laughing every time he came to our table.
Some friends and I went to Gloria's for a birthday celebration. The waiters were attentive, my water glass was never empty, there were several kinds of salsa for the never-ending basket of chips, and we were not rushed to order. The food was very very good and plentiful, very nice portion sizes. I will go back.
Excellent service and food. Pleasant ambiance. Delicious hot black bean dip. The Chile Relleno was the best I have eaten in a long time. The Spinach Enchiladas were excellent -fresh spinach, fabulous sauce. Tasty rice. Very satisfying lunch. Will return soon.

Always a dining experience! Food was delicious and so were the drinks...ambiance perfect....had two fantastic waitresses...glasses were never empty! Definitely will visit again when in Austin, would highly recommend!
Great food! The service was even better! The Manager of the restaurant even came by to check on me. Honestly I was not dressed that nice. I just moved to Texas from the NW and only brought comfy clothes with me as everything is still on a truck somewhere. I basically looked like a bum and it didn't matter . I was treated very nicely and even given advice on some hot spots here. I'll definitely be going back! Thank you!

Excellent drinks at the bar while waiting for a table, great attention by all the staff. The food is so delicious, we always get the tamales for apps, last time I tried the ceviche trio and it was yummy. The live band La Moña Loca on Saturday nights is very lively and fun to dance to. Kudos to the band, especially to the guitar player, adds a unique touch.
The food was delicous. We had the "Lechon Asado" and the "Pupusas". They were very good. The pork was plenty to share with two people. The black bean dip they bring with the chips is the bomb!

The food was okay. The tilapia was slightly salty and dry. The atmosphere and service was superb. Rubi (our waitress) was wonderful. We ate outside and the mist fans made the temperature pleasant for us and our little pup. I’ll go back but will not order the pescado.
All good here. Seems fairly new, as the decor is open and airy with dark tones. I had the Carne Asada, which was cooked medium rare with a smoky sauce. Wine list is ok, could have more selections. Server was new, but she was trying real hard. I liked the water fountain in the bar window.
Between Latin America and the Mexican festival of flavors, Gloria's will serve you a great test combination with a wide variety. Great experience and service with affordable prices. Recommended.
nice place, very tex mex kind of food, definitely not traditional latino. the staff is nice, the atmosphere is amazing and they have salsa dancing on saturdays! overall, i like this place

Gloria’s is one of my favorite places to dine out. It’s not TexMex and I like the different flavors and varieties of food they offer. I really enjoy the enchiladas and any of the steak dishes. Drinks are always strong and service is always good. I only wish that you could make reservations or put yourself on a waitlist some how.

This is my second time here and the experience was just as amazing as the first! Very friendly and attentive wait staff. They stop by at least several times to bring free chips w/salsa and black beans to start, and then to make sure your food is good and to refill your water. My fave is their black beans! I can't stop eating them hahaha. I've tried their Tortilla Soup, Tropical Salad with grilled chicken breast, Carne Flameada, and Gloria's Super Special. The tortilla soup was very light yet flavorful. It's not what you think of when you order tortilla soup. Recommend finishing it there, but I to-goed because I was so full and the tortilla chips got soggy. The Tropical Salad is refreshing. I love salad with mandarin, and the chicken was moist. The Carne Flameada was not what I expected, but still good. My favorite thing I've tried would have to be the Gloria's Super Special because you get a little bit of everything! The chicken tamale is super soft. My fave is the pork and cheese pupusa; take each bite with sour cream, it's delicious! The rice is cooked with black beans which give it a beautiful dark purple color. I love fried plantains and only wish it was more crispy. Overall, fun atmosphere and great spot to take family and friends. Bonus is that restrooms are always clean!
The food, drinks and staff were the highest I could possibly rate ESPECIALLY the churros dessert, and the service. The hostess was super helpful and patient with my indecision of where to sit and then when another friend showed up their transfer of us to a larger table was flawless.
I’m still giving it five stars even though the chairs are inordinately uncomfortable. My guests gave the Chile Rellenos (sp?) and the chimichanga high marks, the iced tea was perfect and the guacamole was far superior to most. Very very very good good.
