We just happened upon this place looking for breakfast on our way to the Austin airport. They were not terribly busy at the time and our service and server was wonderful! Recommendation of Annie's taco was the best as was our other order! I thought the coffee was perfect to my liking and my cup kept full as was my ice water. I even ordered a taco to go and it came out quickly. Highly recommend this place and if I am ever back in Austin I would definitely go again!

I thought everything was really great - the food was excellent, the service was really good, the margarita was really good, the ambiance was nice. The food was all an authentic flavor with a heat that was enjoyable and just enough to get your mouth begging for more. As an out of towner, it was a good find close to the hotel.

This place is so good, I had to stop in the middle of my meal to write a review. It's hard to find a spot where everything on your plate is delicious. Definitely recommend this place and definitely will be back.

Delicious food and the service is right on. My family and I are there at least twice a week for late lunch or family dinner. Their margaritas are so good. This place is Awesome. Enjoy.

Highly recommend this restaurant. I did not expect it would be as good as it was. I am very picky when it comes to Mexican food and Javi's did not disappoint. Friendly service, clean restaurant and delicious food!!

Wicked place . Just another resteraunt in the downtown area I was at. Checked it out . For any other out of town visitors this is a great place to taste flavours of the south.

Very nice ambience and colorful, food is good except i don't really like the cheese sauce.. but that is just my preference. Flavours were good, guacamole too pasty for my taste i like more chunky. Chips were good and fresh, salsa was nice with a touch of spicy. Good if you are around. Tres leches was nicely done and very moist excellent flavour!!

Decent small Mexican place in a strip mall wedged between a Starbucks and a Subway.
Have eaten here four times and have never had a bad meal. All food is fresh, cooked well without being over cooked and served promptly. Wait staff very attentive.
Most menu items are under $10 and the portions are good.
They also service breakfast but have never had it (yet).
Good house margaritas and cold beer.
I'll come here every time I'm in town.

Staying at the courtyard next door and stopped here for a quick lunch. Great salsa, great queso. We had the pastor tacos, shrimp tacos and the crunchy beef tacos. All of them were really good and it filled us up till dinner…. If you are staying around here, eat here and you won’t be disappointed.

Definitely a great spot to stop on the way to the airport. I've been to lunch twice. Had enchiladas once and the Burrito Especial the second. I'll definitely be back to try breakfast sometime. The prices are very reasonable leaving room for a margarita.

Great place to each Tex-Mex food. I ordered the Verge Enchilada, wished it was more enchiladas. Only came with two. This place is worth checking out if your near the area.

My first time eating here. I was immediately impressed with the salsa and chips. I know it's something small, but it's hard finding a place that serves tasty salsa. I wanted to take a jar home, lol. So, I ordered the pastor taco plate. The food is delicious. Rice, beans, served with cilantro & onions. I personally prefer heavy seasonings, but that's just me. Once I threw the onions, cilantro, lime juice & salsa I was very pleased. The atmosphere is good. It's actually a nice establishment. The price in my opinion is very decent for the above par food & service that you get in return. I can't wait to visit again. I highly recommend. Enjoy 😉

I’m a big chips and salsa guy. If that first impression isn’t there I’m not giving five stars. Well, the chips and salsa are the reason I’m giving five stars. I really don’t say this lightly and I know there are a million different taste buds out there, but one of the best overall salsas I’ve had. Spicy enough and fresh! Chips came out nice and warm; not too overdone. I just got the carnitas street tacos and they were really good, but I can’t comment on any of the more involved dishes. Person who greeted me and sat me could’ve been more entreating and friendly. She was young so I give the restaurant a pass on that. It’s hard to find good help these days. My server was very friendly and attentive!

Food was just eh. The homemade Flan was very good and definately would reccommend it. Server was friendly. It had ok decor... but there were some cosmetic things that were noticable.

The margaritas 🍹 are delicious 😋 The tortilla chips are served hot with a tasty salsa. I also ordered a cheese dip that was simple but hit the spot just right 😃 They have some good quesadillas which you can order mixed with shrimp 🍤 that was surprisingly good 👍 😋

Cozy tex mex restaurant. Excellent chips, queso and ground beef quesadillas. Returned on 9/2/23. Food is still excellent but VERY disappointed that the ground beef Quesadilla is no longer on the menu.

Been here before for dinner which I enjoyed. I tried the breakfast this time around and was delicious! I had the huevos con chorizo, bacon, refried beans, and potatoes. They also brought me some tasty red salsa. The server was a young lady who was very attentive, with a big smile on her face everytime she checked up on me! Will definitely return!

This place is a hidden gem. I've been coming here on and off for 5 years or so. The food is always great. The price for 2 for dinner is NOT expensive, so I often order more drinks. Service is ok for the most part..hit or miss but worth the food.

I recently had the chicken fajita salad with chipotle dressing on the side for lunch at Javi's, a Tex-Mex restaurant. The chicken was grilled perfectly and the salad was fresh and well-composed. The chipotle dressing added a nice kick. The portion was huge, so come hungry! As always, I had a great experience at Javi's and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good Tex-Mex meal.

Stayed in Austin for the weekend and last minute decided to try Javi's since our hotel was across the street. Didn't expect much but have to say food was very good. We got 3 different enchilada plates to go and all were really good. Food was fresh and hot! Rice was good. Beans needed some flavor. Salsa wasn't my favorite as its cold salsa and i like hot (warm) salsa but all around definitely would go back. Not authentic Mexican but really good tex mex.

Three of us were there for dinner last night. The place is clean and spacious - not dripping with ambience, but very nice. We had the La Dama enchiladas, the Blanca’s enchiladas, and the Poblano tacos. All were superb! Their restaurant is named Tex- mex, but it is really more straightforward Mexican food - not smothered in cheese. The flavors were complex and exceptional- when you know there’s a chef in the kitchen instead of a cook. The chips and salsa were excellent as well. Highly recommended. It is unusual to find Mexican food this good and this reasonably priced, especially so near the airport. Unfortunately, we live in Seguin, or we would be regulars.
