This place is phenomenal!!! It has become our go-to place especially for Sunday brunches. Delicious carafe mimosas, food, and live music. I’ve tried something new every time so far and nothing has been short of fantastic. We stumbled upon it one day when we didn’t want to wait over an hour at First Watch.... and now we will never go back to First Watch. This place is so much better. Our first time here, our waiter was named Eric. He does an incredible job and is so personable. He really spent time with us and answered any questions we had, hard worker. We actually request to have Eric every single time now if we see he is working. I highly recommend this place for brunch, or even dinner and drinks!
Went here for dinner on NYE with my husband. I made our reservation online; we were seated right away. We had cocktails and oysters to start (super fresh and delicious), then split the bacon wrapped shrimp & grits, the kobe burger, and the short rib mac n cheese. Everything was excellent. The mac n cheese is a must! Bacon wrapped shimp was perfection. The burger was very well prepared, although I did not love the sweet shallot topping. The service and atmosphere was excellent, and the patio was lovely. We will be back!
This place is my favorite date spot. My bf and I come for brunch, dinner you name it!! The best food, great service and wonderful atmosphere. This past Sunday we had brunch with a jazz band. It was a great start to our day. Highly recvomend!! ✨✨
I am so in love with this place! My fiancé and I came here on our first date and we then made the tradition of spending our anniversary here on the same day every year. To make it all that more special my fiancé worked with the amazing staff and planned our surprise proposal!! We are now hosting our wedding reception here and can not be more thrilled to have this place as a staple in our fantastic journey together! The manager Mindy is so sweet and has taken such great care of us through this process. We highly recommend Foxhole to any one and every one! Food is spectacular and services has always been exceptional!!
The food and service never disappoints! We come here a lot and also enjoy the ambiance and location. Thank you for having the best guacamole and pork tacos!!
Dropped in for a couple cocktails and an app. My wife and I thought it was great. Service, food and drink were on point! We can’t wait to come back and enjoy more of the menu!
My wife and I recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at Foxhole Culinary Tavern. The food and service made our night special. I highly recommend Foxhole for their farm to table menue, amazing atmosphere and Raving Fan service. We will be back!
Always a fantastic dinning experience!! We love FoxHole! Definitely one of my all time favorites!! Wonderful craft/local beer and damn good old fashions! The food never disappoints and the Staff is always helpful and on point! Thanks for always treating me and my guests like family!
What a great surprise when we finally stopped in and discovered how good this place is. I've driven by it plenty yet had no idea what it was, restaurant, bar, club, etc. and because it's not in our social sphere I never thought to stop in. The food and service were absolutely fantastic, we sat at bar and despite being quite busy Saturday Night both Bartenders were very attentive and helpful. The Foxy Mule was as good a Mule as I've ever had and my wife had the Dirty Blue Martini which was also fantastic. She's Vegetarian and was ecstatic that they had Off Menu Vegetarian options since most restaurants don't. We went Pork Chop and an Egg Plant Curry dish that was hearty & tasty. All in all great food, drinks and atmosphere so we'll be back for sure.
Excellent food. Menu items are very unique and delicious. Will highly recommend. Upscale restaurant. Enough non meat options. We tried their Brussels Sprouts and Texas Trio. Out of the world. I've had their vegetarian burger and was stumped. It was fantastic (instead of just the bun with lettuce tomato onion and cheese like other places doing injustice to veggie people)
Delish food!!! Great customer service, friendly staff!! Love the Social Hour. Really good happy hour prices. New favorite evening hang out!!!!
I went with a group of friends to the Santa Brunch. The food and service were great even though they were packed. The whole vibe of the place was awesome and conducive to the kind of celebration that people were looking forward to! Will definitely go back!
We planned on going to Saltgrass for Mothers Day but there was an hour wait so my wife said why don't we try Foxhole. We'd never been here but was delightfully surprised. The didn't have the full menu available so we had brunch. Was fabulous and we enjoyed the jazz band with the unlikely name of "Strawberry Piranha" immensely.
Delicious, great staff. Would recommend to friends and family
Absolutely I'm of my favorite places! Brussels sprouts are amazing! Also the country fries venison is to die for! I have been waiting since last year for it to come back on the menu!
Loved the quail and Brussels Sprouts appetizers, the filet was incredible, prepared perfectly. They have a very nice wine list. Our waiter was great. We had a wonderful time!
Oh my.. great place. Went to celebrate my friend's bday!
We both loved the delicious food (nothing to compare to) awesome drinks!
I have never had a bad experience. Staff and management are awesome. Food never disappoints!!
Valentine dinner with the hubby was great. Food, service, and music..all on point. We will be coming back.
It was so delicious, and huge portions!!! So worth the money.

Great food and great service!!!! The scallops and the happy hour are amazing
Had a great burger and steak sandwich for lunch with family! Manager Mindy stepped up when she heard our order was delayed, nice to see management and server resolve issue immediately. Will be back again soon!
Ryan the owes is super nice. The menu is awesome and creative. The Happy Hour is the Bomb! Chef Marshie
Best lobster risotto tots and amazing scallops. Must order the French 75 drink!!
Outstanding to say the least! Food was so good and reasonably priced for a Friday night out! Ricky our server was knowledgeable and attentive. We will be back!
Its the best restaurant in Austin!!!! They have the friendliest staff!!!! and it's locally-owned
Had a great time here celebrating my sister's birthday. We tried many things on the menu, and all were wonderful!
The Venison Meatloaf was absolutely delicious! The wedge salad was a good starter as well! Very fresh!

This place is so good! I got a burger and my husband got mac and cheese. The adult beverages were also tasty, fresh, and not watered down. Our server Austin was very kind and made sure to take good care of us. With the kitchen and bar closing about 45 minutes or so after we got our dinner he made sure we didn’t miss out on our last round and dessert! —sorry I forgot to take pictures before eating lol
Kid friendly. Lamb was super good, moist, fell off the bone. Kids pizza was massive, and delicious. Gumbo didn’t quite have enough rice, but delicious. Pretzel appetizer should have a better description of them.
Great food and service. Seared Ahi Tuna salad was good. The calamari appetizer was also delicious. Celebrated my cousin's birthday for dinner and we had good service from our server.
Foxhole is a hidden gem in northeast Austin. The food is exceptional and the service has been exemplary every time we’ve been there. It’s a good choice for a date night or just to stop by for a drink at the bar.
My Vana wanted to share a meal and time with her Father. She picked "Foxhole",said she wanted to go last year. We here today, Great Service, Great Food and a relaxing atmosphere. My compliments to the Chef. My daughter never had "Venison", The Venison Meatballs were the Bomb. Excellent taste, portion match the price and presentation was surprising! Bravo Zulu "Foxhole"
We used to go there a lot for the oyster and fried calamari, but the calamari is no longer available and I had bad experiences with the oyster on the shelf a couple of times which is enough for me to stay away.
We still go from time to time because other stuff on the menu is still pretty tasty. My favorite is the brussel sprouts with Japanese pumpkin. They changed the ingredients of this dish based on the season too which makes it more fun.
Drinks are not too bad, sometimes lack a bit of consistency, so really depends on how lucky you are with the bartenders.
The service has always been great.
I wish they stay open a bit late especially on the weekends.
I usually sit outside, they are doing a great job keeping it cool during the summer and warm during the winter, and there are always cute dogs on the patio. The main dining area is just too loud for me to hold a conversation during rush hour.
Their frozen lemonade is perfect for these Texas summers, and their live music is sooo nice too. I wish they served a whole pretzel so i could have finished the fondue but 10/10 will come back
Hearty, hot servings of upscale-homey food. Really enjoyed the smokey deviled eggs at brunch. Rustic, clean decor/atmosphere. Pleasant, fast service. Neat local restaurant, great for date night or a weekend occasion.
My server was Kelly, who did a fantastic job. Very cool laidback atmosphere. The brunch menu was pretty amazing so I’d suggest that but I’m sure it’s all fantastic.
From the drinks to the end, everything was great.
The pork belly appetizer was so delicious I wanted to buy another. The burger can be intimidating as you look at how big it is but it’s pretty easy to eat.
The service was really nice and we had a great time.
We are definitely coming back to try the other items in their menu.
Their latest menu has so many wonderful options, brunch is fantastic! They have live music on the stage on the weekends which was nice, the inside decor and vibe is more relaxed jazzy dinner feel but the food is plated well and the flavor combos are interesting. We shared the deviled eggs, amazing, and she got the bacon stuffed waffle, I liked the bacon in there but she wanted something more salty to counter the sweetness so she thought Canadian bacon would be better but so tasty. I got the Kobe burger, after medium, medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. The burger was very good just needed some other drizzle of something or spread on the bun but maybe that's just me. Service was prompt but not overbearing and not busy right at 10:00 when they opened for brunch
Absolutely fantastic! Me and a party of 9 strolled in on 20 minutes notice and they knocked it out the park! Food was amazing! Picture perfect!!! Drinks were strong (their frozen lemonade goes down really easy) and their staff is welcoming and makes you feel like your home. If you go, try to sit at Jason's table... he's awesome and recommends the most appropriate beversges! Its a little pricey but it's a MUST TRY if your around the Austin area
We come here once every weekend for brunch. We usually sit at the bar but occasionally at a table. Service has always been great no matter where we sit. I like their seasonal menu and selection: just enough to keep you coming to try new dishes but not too many to distract you from making a choice. Mimosa service is priced reasonably. We will continue to visit.
Food was absolutely fabulous. The House Burger with its mixture of brisket, chuck and tenderloin. Was splendidly done. Edged potatoes perfectly seasoned. Pretzels was a fun snack while waiting. My colleague had the Venison Birria Grilled Cheese. That looked amazing and yes I stole a bite.
The Sunday brunch atmosphere is brilliant! I really love the band and their choice of music. I had the steak salad and the flatbread, and would definitely recommend them.
I’ve lived in cedar park for 7 years and just visited for Valentine’s Day for the first time tonight. My only regret was not coming here sooner. The food is legit. Pretty reasonably priced for higher end execution across a strong menu.
The mussels were one of the smartest mussel dishes I’ve had with western flavors and great tasting fresh PEI mussels. The pork chop had gorgeous presentation and was cooked perfectly.
The steak and mash were great. The Brussels were good but could have gone farther with an avocado or cilantro crema. The chef in me is making that one recommendation, but seriously it was a great meal.
The Manhattan with the Vanilla was a great twist and well presented.
The day and time affects the quality of the kitchen and bar, but at the right time, it’s fantastic.
This is the best close option for happy hour in the Anderson Mill area. Cocktails are solid, but they’re often out of mezcal. The charcuterie is quality, and the flatbreads are tasty shareables. Crispy brussels with charred peach was a great summer seasonal menu choice.
Lunches are good, dinners are better. The house burger beats the Kobe, and I LOVE the homemade potato chips. The salmon was also particularly good.
The wine list could be much better, and on occasion I’ve had floating cork, smudged glass, or wine that hasn’t been chilled to a desirable temperature, but I consider this more of a cocktail place than a wine place.
Atmosphere is both upscale and casual. Bar seating gets loud and crowded during busy hours, but all other tables are spacious and talkable.
All in all, I really like it. I come here often and have a consistently good experience.
