The grilled chicken and the shrimp was tough and chewy. Great location, airy, with outdoor seating. Best thing after their out of the world Gelato is kid the friendly place play area they have. Decent beer collection. Dont miss their hazelnut icecream!
Went during lunch, the fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken was great, the Mandola hero sandwich was good a well and its all arrived very quickly. The atmosphere was lively, and the folks working here were excellent!
This spot is great for families and large groups. The staff is always so efficient and ready willing and able to help you or your kiddos with your dining needs. The authentic Italian flavors may be a little subdued but I believe this allows for appealing to a wider demographic. I personally like a little more spice and seasoning in my Italian food. I would not hesitate to come just for the gelato, it’s delicious and our neighbors all order their cakes from here too! So remember it’s not just a restaurant, it’s a bakery and they also sell

The food is great, the atmosphere is great. The way you order not so much. I really enjoy everything except having to walk up and order. I got the fried mozzarella as appetizer. It’s a really large order enough for 4 people. The sauce that it comes with is great. It’s seasoned to perfection and complements the mozzarella which is fried to perfectly. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and it melts in your mouth. It was seasoned wonderfully and the sauce was delicious as well. For dessert I wanted to try the torts de amor. It’s so delicious! It’s dark chocolate with a raspberry filling. If you are a dark chocolate lover this is the cake for you!!!I highly recommend it! I also got a raspberry gelato. It’s super good. I will definitely come back to try other things on the menu.

top of my go-to places in Austin. The food is amazing. I mean, my mouth gets happy! The flavors are pure... so pure I want to eat slower to enhance and draw out the experience. The desserts and coffee are mouth-watering and bold. Service is always solid and friendly.
Nestled in the Hill Country Galleria, lots of parking. This place has a fun vibe. It’s an Italian market, but also is an Italian Bistro. It’s set up in sections. There’s a bar, barista, bakery, gelato. You stand in line to order at a cash register. There are menus set up at the start of the line. Then you get a number for your table, and they bring it out to you. It was hot and delicious! We started off with the fried mozzarella, the cheese was melted perfectly. I had the Chicken Alfredo with Prosciutto, Peas, and Mushrooms. My daughter had the Chicken Parmesan. We finished the night with their creamy Stracciatella Gelato, it was delightful. I recommend.
This place is awesome! The manager was very attentive to all the people coming in and the rest of the staff was just as friendly! It was my first time trying this place and I was impressed with my dish and dessert. The food tasted so good full of so many flavors and it was out within mins! I was on a lunch break and was able to really enjoy my meal. I highly recommend this place when craving Italian food!
Mandola's catered one of our pre-wedding events and the food was really delicious. The pasta portions are generous and can feed more than is approximated on their catering menu. They were really accommodating about dietary restrictions and the delivery itself was pretty seamless.

We had the best of best experiences here. Food was amazing!! Christian made our day. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was great for us!! This was our first time here but we will be back again and again. Great food, dessert's, customer service and employees. What more could you ask for!!!!
My friend took me for the first time, was greeted nicely. You order first and then pick your seating. Definitely recommend the spaghetti and meatballs. Good for a bite with family. Not fast food but causal dining.
Italian bistro, bakery, barista and market with a lively social atmosphere. Food and service are good and consistent in every location I have been to. While it doesn’t stand out in the best of what is available among Italian restaurants, it is never disappointing. Each location contributes to the community it serves. Decor is fun, colorful and celebrates Italian and Italian-American culture.
Needed to go to Lowes in bee cave so I looked at restaurants nearby and found Mandola's. Decided to give it a shot.
The outside patio seating was nice and important for us because of our dog. Atleast right now we had to go in and order and play for the food inside and then they served it outside so there is no table service for ordering.
My son got the hero panini which was very delicious, my wife got the grilled chicken panini which was pretty good and I got chicken parmesan which was good.
Their complimentary bread was very good too and it came with olive oil and herbs which was flavorful.
We will go there again atleast a few times to try some other items on the menu.
I love Mandola's food. i wish it was a bit less casual. The prices are that of decent dining however the dining room doesn't feel like they want you to stay long. The desserts are delicious
Amazing restaurant! Worth the drive if you dont live close. I felt comfortable bringing my family because it's very family friendly but also for a date. Clean, amazing food, and great service. If we are ever in town again we will definitely return!
Food was delightful, grilled Shrimp on my Fettuccine Alfredo was superb, excellent Caesar Salad, bread and dipping oil was extremely tasty.
Had Gelato for dessert, very good!
Nice airy place for a casual lunch with a cute playground for little kids. Ordered a panini. It was more of a thick Italian sandwich with many layers of meat. In my mind, I was imagining something thinner and cheesier. Great option if you're super hungry.
Very friendly staff with an eclectic dining room that takes you back in time with its history! They offer a variety of menu options for everyone. Service was fast a food was delicious with good prices. Don’t forget to stop by the desert case for homemade pies, cakes and the decadent gelato!

I walked in this place not knowing anything about it. It was the hubby's choice for dinner.
Let me tell you he did a great job with this place.
Super unique feeling walking in to what I thought would be a "let us seat you" kind of restaurant.
If that's what you going for, this is not that kind of place.
Instead take a look through the photos in this review to see what you'll get instead.
However if your looking for delicious authentic food then you're in the right place.
Never mind ruining my dinner with dessert, how could I pass up sampling the Gelato.
I tried coconut, and it was the best I've ever had.
Don't worry it didn't ruin my appetite. I ordered the FIORENTINA Pizza, and Hubby had TORTELLINI MODO MIO.
I loved the full cloves of garlic on the pizza, although you may not want to come here on your first date if your expecting a farewell kiss.
The peas in the tortellini dish were a little strange but the overall the dish was good.
They have a bakery, bread and meat market.
There is so much here, we will have to come back.
