Here's a very interesting, fixed price tasting menu with or without a wine pairing. The courses were composed of experimental flavors that you would not have imagined. Most everything appears to be pre made, so the experience is in the composition which you get to experience first hand. Questions are encouraged, and almost required since there are many "chefs" that would like to explain the combinations. The dishes themselves are exquisite and flavorful. [Please do not take any flavour advice from anyone from the UK - ever] The "manager" was also very knowledgeable about the beverages being served. Lastly, there are some very tasty drinks at the bar including the best Manhattan ever. If I were to note one drawback, I there were some Southwestern dishes that were lacking in heat (capsicum) - I understand that not everyone likes spicy food, but I would say that they should stay home anyway. Overall - Go here for a food adventure.

The food was delicious and the experience was amazing. The chefs carefully prepare the food in front of you and are very open about explaining more about how they came up with dishes, their backgrounds, and the food itself. Went there for an anniversary (its pricey) and they even gave us a bonus desert to celebrate. One of the most fun meals I have had anywhere.

Counter 3. Five. VII is a restaurant nestled above the Elephant Room in the hub of downtown Austin, with every foodie’s dream….and chef’s table.  Using only the freshest ingredients, serving either 3, 5 or 7 courses, the room is filled with excitement as everything is made right in front of the diners.  Wine is carefully picked out to pair perfectly with each dish, and the staff is attentive and enthusiastic about making sure it’s an amazing experience.  It’s certainly one of the best dining journeys in the city!

Absolutely love this place!. Really phenomenal food with perfect service. It takes true talent to make a multi course restaurant feel like you are dining in someone's home and this place does an amazing job. I can't wait to go back!

Amazing food and service! We came here for a bachelorette dinner on a Sunday, the server was super friendly and gave some good recommendations on both the food and speakeasies in the area. “Your favourite drink” here was definitely our favourite! 100% recommend to try this place!

Food was good. Some dishes I enjoyed more than others. The sorbet dessert was my favorite and is probably the only thing that sticks out of really wanting to go back for. Mushroom risotto was good but not amazing (and not cheap but there was a lot of shaved truffle on it). Apricot bacon app was ok-lots of people raved about it on other reviews but it wasn’t our favorite, just a little odd of a flavor combo and texture all together. Brussel sprouts were pretty good. The churro dessert was decent but not nearly as good as the other dessert (that was a 10 out of 10). The food overall didn’t sit the best though over night. Our server was nice but definitely didn’t seem like they were super thrilled to be there. Very neutral service. Enjoyed the wine we ordered. Overall decent experience but wouldn’t be rushing back for the prices.

I run a non-profit and we were in Austin hosting our annual conference. We were looking for a venue to host a women in neurology networking event and we are so happy that we found Swift's Attic. We had a full buyout of the space on a Saturday night and I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the event. The venue itself is so fun and inviting and a perfect layout for mingling with small nooks for sitting down with a friends to catch up. The team that we worked with for this event went above and beyond for us. Shout out to Curtis and Samuel for really bringing the vent magic. All of their staff were engaging, polite, fast. There was never anyone waiting to place a drink order, or a cup out of place. The buffet was replenished before you even knew it was getting low and the waiters navigated the packed room with ease! Honestly, we have done many events over the years and this was the best venue and team we have ever worked with. If you are in Austin and need a great venue, Swift's Attic is it! Also, try the iceball cocktails!!

This is an utterly fabulous place to go. The third time, and I've never been disappointed. The cocktails are special, plan on relaxing and sipping sensational libations. Food is created with a real sense of texture, flavors unlike anywhere. Go for happy hour... even sweeter! 😋 My only comment is that the music was a little too rap like for my taste.

This is one of our favorite spots for drinks and appetizers before we go listen to music at the Elephant Room as it is in the same building on the 3rd floor. The Tiger Apricots are the best. I’m not a huge fan of apricots, but these are so worth the trip. Wrapped in bacon accompanied by a chipotle honey sauce - amazing!

You really can't go wrong with most of the dishes at Swift's Attic. The combination of flavors are delightful, and service is attentive without being overbearing. This place is great for a date night or for a night out with good friends.

The halibut was divine! The museum risotto was also excellent. The pop rocks edamame was really interesting, but a little spicy for me. All the drinks were amazing. The churro donuts were a bit dry. The vibe is very modern speakeasy. I would definitely go again!

Another 5 star restaurant in downtown Austin, The Swift Attic! It has a speakeasy decor in a 160 year old building! There was exposed brick, I think original wooden floors, just architectural beauty! A grand carpeted staircase, the cozy bar had an industrial feel to it with great cocktails, plenty of restaurant seating. For ADA needs, we did find out there is an elevator in the back. You might need to call them to meet you in the back of the building to guide you to the elevator. I used them on the way out. The menu was spectacular! We ordered the shishito peppers, creamy mushroom risotto, and the special of the day…the Chilean sea bass served with mashed purple potatoes and prosciutto wrapped asparagus. Mmmmmm! Everything was amazing, filled with flavors and the fish was so buttery and fluffy; like eating little clouds. They were so kind to treat us with dessert for our 14th wedding anniversary. We had churro donuts with ice cream, and a swirl of raspberry and chocolate. It was the perfect end to our evening. I’m excited to return and try something else on their menu because everything looked and tasted so good. But don’t take my word for it and make your reservation today!

We really loved the decor and atmosphere at Swift's. Had a drink at the bar before we were seated. The bartenders were super knowledgeable and liked to talk about cocktail trends, whiskey, etc, which makes for a great night for us. Tapas menu was fun to share. We loved the Tiger Apricot (bacon wrapped), Broccoli Crunch Salad and Fungus Among Us wild mushroom risotto Delicious.

Amazing vegan food and cocktails! On the pricey side but pretty normal for downtown Austin, and very much worth the price tag. Literally some of the best risotto I’ve ever had anywhere, and my husband loves the pad Thai. 10/10!

First time impression: we loved it! The drink names were super fun. Food was thoroughly impressive. Had no expectations going in and we loved the food. Very tasty. Drinks had fun names and tasted just as good. First time having an ice ball drink and mine tasted like a good juice - as it should’ve. Vibe was amazing, wasn’t too loud so we could actually talk. I recommend a reservation if you want an actual table, seemed like walk ups had to wait for a table or sit in more lounging areas. Server was awesome, happy with the service. Great place to go before or after a show at the paramount ! 10/10 would go again!
