Lots of food options! The dishes can be pricey - I enjoyed our appetizers (fried pickles and fried shrimp & oysters) more than my main dish (Jerk Shrimp Salad). Very tasty food overall. Kind of tucked away off 6th and Mopac but has a parking garage so easy to park. Lots of TVs so good place to watch the games.
Service was a bit slow. We sat at the bar, and had a little trouble getting attention at first. Food was good though. Lettuce wraps presentation was a bit strange, as we got a huge head of lettuce and a brown of the filling. It was tasty, just odd. The ranch dusted wings were great. Definitely an after work crowd.
If you sports bars/restaurants cover 3 has a very livley spirit! Food was decent, service was above average. Seats where comfy. Wait staff was friendly and prompt.
Great food and excellent spot for the game. The service at the south Austin location could be better. No one seems to really care that much. Just enough to get you out the door without complaining. Wings are amazing there.
I had Greek Calamari and beef tenderloin sliders. Beef was perfectly cooked, the buns where supper fresh and horseradish sauce was perfect match for the tenderloin. Service was awesome as usual...
I've been multiple times and always have a great time. The food is made from scratch using fresh, good quality ingredients to make excellent sports bar type food (just much better than your average sports bar). I really enjoyed the chips and dip trio, the buffalo chicken sandwich, homemade onion rings, brick chicken and mac and cheese. The drinks are unique and great as well. Service is also on point. Highly recommended.
Great sports bar if you are trying to get away from the more mainstream west 6th street / downtown area. They have plenty of TVs for you to enjoy your game. Great beer selection and make decent cocktails too. If you are looking for a more laid back viewing experience this place is for you. While you will likely be in the presence of many people that are there watching the same game as you, it wont be as rowdy as other spots. Definitely family friendly.
We ordered the nachos and the tuna burger along with a Mexican Martini and a tequila soda. Both were very average but not bad. Like I said, more of a laid back viewing experience!!
Great bar and food. Great place to watch your favorite sports
Stopped in for lunch with a group of 8. We were seated promptly. The decor was that of a sports a bar. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich which was massive. No skimping on portion sizes here! The food was tasty and service was excellent. I gave 4 stars because the food was good, not outstanding. Slightly better than average pub food.
Outstanding Sports Bar. More TVs than you can count, with much better then expected bar food. For brunch on Saturdays and Sundays they also have a Mimosa / Bloody Mary bar that is better than any I've ever seen. Great for groups as well as individuals, it's hard to beat if you want to catch a game. Large bar area, nice covered patio, better than average ambiance inside.
Great Food! Definitely recommend the bloody Mary bar!
I've been dozens of times and haven't had a bad experience once.
Management is on top of the whole show from kitchen to table and simple dishes tend to be different enough to be very good.
Think brisket chilli and a buffalo chicken sandwich with coleslaw.
And when I say the management has this place running well I mean your food comes out quickly and hot like it was just put up seconds before hitting the table. That alone deserves five stars and frequent returns.
Impeccable food, atmosphere, and service (thanks, Brad)!
This place is great all-around and genuinely deserves a 5 star review.
From the presentation to the taste, the food here is great. Thanks to a wise tip from our server, Brad, I ordered a modified mac n cheese dish topped off with buffalo fried chicken (there is much more to this dish that words cannot express to justify its magnificence).
The ambiance here was relaxing yet maintained a classy vibe. Despite this, you could definitely come here to enjoy a date or watch a game. On several of the TVs was the NBA playoff game (the Bucks defeated the Raptors), but the noise level was appropriate for folks watching the game as well as others who did not come to see it.
Above all else, the people and service here is unparalleled. Brad was on top of his game. Not only did he flawlessly recite the non-menu specials, but he catered to our every need. As he refilled my glass I requested two lemon wedges and conveyed that I needed water and electrolytes after finishing a strenuous 2 hour workout. Brad was sensitive to this and went above and beyond. In the place of the two lemon wedges, I was practically given the entire tree!
Thanks a lot for the fantastic dining experience. I'll definitely be back!
Didn't know, but they have a decent happy hour, and it is happy hour 4-close on Mondays/Tuesdays. Discounted apps/wings/draft beer + cocktails. But I live for the buffalo chicken sandwich. I've never met a salad that could defeat me, but this one took me down, and I was not mad. It was delicious, and there's also about 3-5 TVs on each wall, so don't be worried that you won't be able to watch the game!
Adrian was our server. Order the trio as our starter, it was very delicious! The green Chile enchiladas were amazing. The chef came and brought out the entrees which I thought was awesome. Fast service, great quality food! Definitely coming back to this restaurant when in Austin again.
The best and friendliness place ever been. Delicious food
First time to visit this establishment. Ordered the Ruby Red trout which was excellent! Stopped by to attend a retirement party and decided to have dinner at the bar on a Thursday. Wait staff was very accommodating and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Place is clean and accomodates large groups.
Super reliable/consistent food. For a sports bar, their tex-mex fare is unexpectedly very good. Awesome wings/tenders as well, highly recommend.
4 stars instead of 5 because service can be a little slow at lunch when you're trying to do a work lunch mid-week.
Great for watching sports! Food is pretty good for a sports bar. They've just become stale since they've opened. I don't think they have changed their menu once. So regulars just have to eat the same thing. Also they have tasteless burgers which is strange since the Hopdoddy guy owns it.
