Have always loved Sarah's. We don't have enough local places. Excellent shawarma and you can get fresh fried falafel. Good baklava. Nice people.
Very good food. Reasonable prices. I have been here twice, got different dishes, and liked them both.
My favorite time to see my doctor is around lunchtime because I can go next door to Sarah's! If you love Mediterranean food, give it a try. Always a great warm welcome to go with your food, and I never get out of here without some cookies from the market.
So good! I miss the food like crazy. The owner are also super sweet!
One of the best Mediterranean restaurants in Austin Texas. . .
I come for the comfort food and the welcoming greetings! My go-to place for lunch.
Not only is this honest, fantastic food, it is created and served by the happiest people in this entire city. Go more than once, they'll know you the second time and greet you like a long lost friend. It is fantastic.
I came to this location with my parents in June 2019 after we attended the rock and gem mineral show at Austin. We waited our hunger a bit and wanted something that was Mediterranean or Arabic. So I was looking at my phone trying to see which one we would go and eventually this was it. Well when we went inside the atmosphere was not fancy but casual, which was okay. When I sat down in one of their tables I felt kinda funny because I as a tall person like myself sitting in one of their tables I felt that the the table was hitting my Chest which it wasn’t. Well to start with our orders we wanted something to have rice, salad and some other vegetables, so we had the chicken shawarma. Plus a side order of fries, well I felt in that moment that my chicken was fine but as for my parents they felt the chicken was kinda rubbery on the outside. The skin on the outside was difficult for them to chew. We liked the side orders overall, what was interesting about this location is that they serve different types of pizzas. They don’t make only salty but sweet like chocolate strawberry, banana and sweet milk pudding etc…
Stumbled across this place on accident, and so glad I did. Had the kibeh plate and everything was delicious. I love the extra lemon and sumac. Staff was also super nice and even gave me a little dessert. Didn't have time for the buffet, but will definitely do that next time. Nice little spot!
Love love love Sarah's! Food is always great, staff are very friendly. They sell some Mediterranean foods but not raw meat. Yummy! I had the chicken kebab, very tasty.
My favorite restaurant. Food is awesome. Service even better. Can't get better Mediterranean food anywhere. The employees are friendly and helpful. Whole establishment was spotlessly clean.
After 7 years in Austin, this is the best Mederaterian food we have found in town. You can tell the hummus is made with incredible tahini. The beef sharma is top notch. Definitely coming back (maybe even tomorrow?!)
Love this place. Best hummus in town! Made to order! Dine in or take out
Wow!!!! I couldn't find anything to complain with, and that's saying a lot for a Mediterranean restaurant. The staff was super friendly, the environment was cozy, and the food was delicious.
I never leave reviews but this is my second time ordering from here and the food is soo flavorful!! Happy to have found my favorite Mediterranean food spot 🙂
Great food, super cheap and an awesome staff.
My chicken shawarma was delicious, filling and $8, yes eight dollars. It could be two smaller size meals or one large.
This place is an absolute must. I don't get how their food is so cheap and so wonderful. They deserve your business - and praise.

Inexpensive delicious meals. The only downside I experienced was that even with it being slow (a total of 3 tables) on a Sunday evening at 5, it took about 25-30 minutes to receive our order. To be fair it was fantastic when we got it, and it may have just been that it was Sunday or there was a large order ahead of us. Definitely recommend, just be prepared for a potential wait. Maybe call ahead?
Casual, quick service; clean, friendly, and delicious! The daily lunch buffet looks good but I haven't tried it yet. There are plates and wraps I like, both vegetarian and meat. Very good falafel but beef and lamb have been desirable to me lately. I usually call in and take food home. Sometimes I buy spices or interesting canned goods.
I'm not in love with their lentil soup, but that's not a problem. Still 5 stars.
Great tzatziki.
Look old, and no customers, market is small, for sure not the best halal market but food is tasty

My parents and I had lunch here and were absolutely blown away by this place. The meals were delicious, prices were low, portions were generous, and the staff was nice. Their homemade baklava is so good! And the market has a good variety of meditteranean groceries (snacks, spices, dishware...etc).
Falafel were so good!! Crispy on the outside soft on the inside. Great food and service. Prices are more than fair for the quality food! They also offer Mediterranean market staples like spices and refrigerated items. 10/10
Fantastic! While other Mediterranean places flip flop on quality depending on the day, Sarah's gives top quality each time. Best gyro I've had in a long time with good portions. I recommend the gyro plate; you get a bit of everything, and everything is delicious.
I like the buffet style. Endless hummus is where it's at for me. Although the falafel was out the whole time I was there which is the main reason I come to places like this, so that wasn't fun. The tea was also out. This was during lunch time so you'd expect things to be stocked. I still enjoyed it, though. Great if you're in the area and don't want to wait for food.
