Found this place purely by happenstance. I have been looking for a new and better Ramen place than Michi or Tatsuya. And I was not disappointed! The broth was delicious if just slightly underseasoned, but that pales in comparison to the beautiful cuts & portions of chicken, the soft boiled egg, bok choy, and corn, all perfectly placed to stimulate the senses. Also tried the chicken garlic thigh yakitory. The wait staff was polite and attentive. And I have to say I've found my new Ramen spot. Please don't change a thing!
Excellent food. Excellent service. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Had a greens salad (very tasty) and a pork/calamari steak, with rice and a cabbage type salad. (Eloquence fails me). All VERY good.
I LOVE the ambience of this place. You get to sit on these tiny chairs propped up on benches. So cool. The food was awesome. I had the Bento box with saashimi and kyshakakya. (however that is spelled) . It was beef with onions, I think. It was great. The prices were a bit steep, but still reasonable for japanese. Mmmm Would definitely go there again.
Been here twice and the service is always over the top. The atmosphere is also nice with different option of sitting areas base on what level of privacy you want. And the food is awesome! One must appreciate the options available, for a family of foodies, we always leave eating too much. Coming back for more soon!
I was looking for a unagui don so here I found my Unaju bento . Definitely I'll come back for more.
Have tried two different seafood broth ramen bowls. Would recommend. Reasonably priced and short wait! Eclectic music.
The ramen was awesome! But, as good as the ramen was, the service was even better. I wish I could remember our servers name so I could give her a shout out.
Great service!! Staff was very helpful explaining what the food names were. Food was excellent.
This place is amazing! Everything they do is an absolute home run. Delicious and beautiful Ramen bowls, sushi and seafood of the best quality, and last but not least are the delicious and budget friendly bento boxes. I wish I'd gotten more pics, but I kept forgetting before I dug in! Def check this place out, the amazing staff will be happy to have you!
The food was absolutely amazing!!! We started with the Shanghai pork soup dumplings then rock n roll sushi, spicy tonkotsu ramen, and steak teriyaki hot plate. Huy was our server he was so attentive and quick. A+++ service, definitely my top ramen shop in Austin and I've had almost every so called top spot.
It’s my first time eating at this place and I will definitely come back again. The service, food and place were 10/10, I loved the sushi and the ramen. The prices are very reasonable compare to other sushi places around the area.
Awesome ramen and sushi. Honorable mention to the perfectly cooked egg in the ramen. Hands down the best I’ve ever had. The inside was so perfect and creamy. THE BEST
This place has some of the best sushi. We ordered the lunch sushi special. The rainbow house roll and the Austin roll were amazing. We are definitely coming back
I like this ramen so much. It is a bit spicy. The soup base of the ramen has been boiled for eight hours, so the taste is not ordinary. The baked eel in Austin roll is also my favor. In short, I am very satisfied and come again next time.
First time in Austin and stopped by this amazing Japanese ramen place and the food was SO delicious! We ordered don katsu and was surprised by its portion. Very fulfilling! We also got tempura shrimp udon, very tasty! And the premium Keisan Don with premium fish and scallop was surprisingly tasty, good variety of fish selected by chef that day. Would highly recommend!!
Fantastic food! We go to the Chinese restaurant next door sometimes but so glad we ate here. Way better in my opinion.
Good food, you guys should try the jalapeño bomb for appetizer. Good price and highly recommended
We made last minute reservations on a Monday night and they took us in. They took care of our large group and did a great job. We started with the steam dumplings and they were soft and tasty. I had the red ramen and it was delicious. Spicy at first but I got used to it. The beef teriyaki bulgogi was super big you could share it. It was served on a sizzling skillet with a sweet and savory taste. Will come again.

It so hard to find Sakitori in Austin and when I saw it one the menu here I had to get it. The steak was the best by far. The dumplings were so good as well. The chicken wings were not for me but I will take them home and I am sure my kids will down them quick. Lol
Bento box lunch special is a good portion. Great flavors not to heavy. Great for a quick delicious healthy lunch. I'd go back.

Really really *really* good ramen.
The broth is profound (😜), the pork is great (they char it. who knew it would make it so cool!), and the variations are distinct and, you guessed it, great.
The specialties (bulgogi ramen!) are even greater.
Yes, I'm going overboard, but hey, this is excellent ramen!
I came in to have dinner with a friend and was pleasantly surprised. I wasn’t sure what the ramen would be like in Austin—Haru is definitely doing it very well. I had a spicy miso ramen with an egg and some added veggies. Bok choy was super lit. It was extremely good, very savory and everything was cooked just right. The broth itself wasn’t too heavy or light, and had a nice creamy texture. I also had an avocado with sauce and chicken gyoza as appetizers. The avocado was good, but not something I’d order again only because it felt and tasted somewhat out of place on the menu. The gyoza was really delicious though. Great ramen spot—everyone in Austin should try this place out!
IchiUmi came in clutch as I was struggling to find a place that was open the day before Thanksgiving to have a late dinner. I had gone to two other places that had closed early. I called and was so relieved to hear that they were still open! I immediately headed over and my order was ready within 15 minutes. The staff members were very courteous and kind to me. I would definitely revisit! I’m happy to report that the food is excellent as well. We ordered takeout; the broth was well packaged to prevent spills and everything was fresh.
Came here for lunch for my anniversary. Very quick service to get us seated and started! Had our appetizer out quick. We had the dumplings which are smaller than what I’m used to but very plentiful and flavorful! Waiter was very courteous and helpful when deciding what was best for each of our taste! I went with the spicy miso ramen and a fire bomb! Very spicy, recommend 100% if you love the burn! Our ramen was out in less than 8 minutes. Loved the speed and the quality. Coming again when I visit Austin next time!
I've ordered IchiUmi over UberEats many times and they have never disappointed! Came in person this time and the restaurant was very vibey and service was nice as well. Their ramen has good flavor- just miss their tsukemen since it's been off the menu!
