I hadn’t eaten here in seven years. French fries were better than what I remember. Always great overall. Glad they’re coming to Houston.

Their fries are the best. Such good fresh flavor. There's a sandbox outside and a couple of tables. You can get a lettuce wrap, which is the burger without the bun, wrapped in lettuce, and they also offer a veggie burger.

Ordered a double cheeseburger, chocolate shake, and an oatmeal cookie. The burger was delicious! It was cooked timely and the cheese was melting as I received it. The chocolate shake was excellent! Its consistency of thickness was perfect!mmm!! Now as for the oatmeal cookie— it did not have that oatmeal flavor nor the texture of oatmeal. It was not tasty. This is why I gave four stars.

P. Terry’s is a local burger chain staple! And it’s easy to see why: great food, helpful servers, and amazing attitude. When we visited this location it was late at night after a long day working and shopping, and as soon as we pulled up to the window, the server greeted us with a smile and a quick, friendly conversation while we paid and waited for our fresh burgers, fries, and milkshakes. Even though our server was scheduled to work every day over the weekend and was at the end of an already long shift, she was positive and upbeat that we would have a wonderful weekend! What more can you ask for in a local burger chain? The only issue we have with this location is that the drive through feels downright claustrophobic in a full-size truck. But keep in mind, this is my first full-size truck, so if you’re a big-truck vet, don’t even worry! You’ll be fine getting in and out: because even a newbie like me made it through, no problem!

Texas is hiding the best burger! This place is a great surprise, burgers are juice and tasty, fries are amazing. They have pretty good size indoor seating area and some outdoor sitting area. Also a sand pool for kids to play. Good for family. They also have drive through.

Burgers are pretty good, fries were acceptable. However In and Out has a better burger, and of course good Ole whataburger is up there on the list as well!

Tasty double meat with the works(no cheese). Fries were perfect and better than at other locations I have tried. This location is right off Mopac with easy access back onto the freeway.

Great burgers at a good price. Similar to in n out, but with better french fries. Shakes are good too. Fast service. Nice and clean.

Stopped in here for a quick lunch. Cheeseburger and potato shoestring fries were good. Interesting selections of fountain drinks (Incl. BigRed, HI punch, IBC rootbeer...) I love the ice from the ice machine! Small, chewing ice 😀

P. Terry's is a great option for those looking for a classic burger place. Their milkshakes are very tasty (the root beer one is my favorite) and the fries are hot and perfectly salted. The staff here is friendly and provide outstanding customer service!

Good: It is P. Terry's, still the best burger/fries/shake combo in Austin. Not so good: This location seems to overcook the fries just a tad on a regular basis? Or maybe it was always like this and nostalgia has colored my experience? For many years I would frequent the original burger stand on South Lamar/Barton Springs, and Patrick would occasional stop by the outside tables to say hello and ask how my burger was. The staff knew me and would already know what I was going to order before I spoke. But times change and the rent/traffic/road closures eventually decided that the Domain would be my new hood. Maybe I miss that old camaraderie from P. Terry's #1. Or maybe in fact, this location does have a habit of overcooking their fries.
