The restaurant is hidden in cool location but you can see the big sign of the restaurant. They operate an open kitchen with some snacks as a display distracting view. The Waiters look neat and energetic with a bright smile on their faces . It was three of us and we were given a complimentary snack at the beginning and a black tea ☕️ on the house at the end. We ordered 3 entrees and 1 starter which cost approximately $80 plus tax . You won’t regret visiting this location I promise, I will definitely go back at least once a month until I try all the food on their menu .
Outstanding experience 10*: both cashiers were sweet and polite; the ordering process was simple; all pastries in the display case looked appetizing and delicious (and they actually were!); the dining area was spotless (they wiped not only the tables, but the chairs and underneath after each customer - it was very pleasant to see); the young gentleman who brought a little complement was very sweet (I really liked how nice he was with every guest); the manager was walking around and was checking on the customers (but very unnoticeably and friendly). When the sun started shinning through the windows, before I even ask anyone, the team member lowered the sunscreen. So the customer service here at MezzeMe is wonderful and very attentive.
Regarding food - I am definitely coming back to try more (I regret that I wasn’t that hungry at my first visit). Every table at the restaurant had something looking delicious, guests were indulging and obviously enjoying their food, I was not the exception - the falafel plate was simple, fresh and very tasty. The bread was like light, warm pillows - amazingly tasty. Baklava was perfect (like I literally was in Istanbul again having my favorite pastry). The pistachio nuts were perfect and tasted fresh (not stale like in some other places). As a truly sweet tooth I couldn’t pass a delicious big slice of a honey cake. The taste was phenomenal (I’m not exaggerating), I was looking for a fresh honey cake like this for years and couldn’t find it. It was a simple perfection: very fresh, slightly moist and very fragrant. My family could never understand my obsession with finding the perfect honey cake, well now they know how it supposed to taste and asking me to drive to Austin and get them a slice (or two). MezzeMe has the best honey cake.
I couldn’t ask for more, this is my new favorite place to eat.
Everything here was fantastic! Staff were all super nice, attentive, and helpful. Cozy atmosphere and clean facility. I can't say enough about how delicious the food is! We got the Shrimp Skewer, Mezze Meatballs, Mediterranean Salmon, Lamb Lover Delight Pide, Baklava, Turkish coffee, Turkish hot tea, and cold Turkish Delight tea. I don't remember what the appetizer was called, but they said it was like bread crumbs with spices and oil served with pita bread. Everything was full of flavor, cooked to perfection, and presented beautifully. I can't wait to return and try more items!
I like the place very much, it’s not a wine dine restaurant but the restaurant has very good food, they serve free bread with a hummus and all their hummus and bread were very good. Overall everything we have ordered was so tasty and affordable.
I highly recommend this place, if you are looking for good quality turkish food. the medley tabouli salad was refreshing. warm atmosphere, and excellent service. We got complementary turkish coffee and tea as well
OMG. This Turkish place is amazing. visiting from California and me and my husband went to this place based on reviews from the google and absolutely worth it. Ordered Lahmacun , yogurt drink and governor plate. Food was delicious and fresh. restaurant was very clean, bathrooms as well. Street parking are available.
We got Chick me out , no little lambs(forgot the name) both came with rice and you get Harissa sauce in Lamb while garlic yogurt with Chicken. Both were really delicious. We also got Baklava for the dessert and it is one of the most balanced dessert I have had in a while.
Also their Adana wrap is amazing as well.
Big thumbs up!!
Extremely happy to have such a good Mediterranean/Turkish restaurant in Austin; we certainly need more diversity in Austin. Mezzeme offers authentic Turkish and Mediterranean food at a very reasonable price. Service was great, staff was kind, atmosphere was pleasant, and food was yummy. This is a restaurant that you can come at least once a month and enjoy their food.
All the dishes were delicious and delivered in a timely manner. The staff and managing service were very kind and friendly. The prices were also reasonable compared to the serving size. Everything was perfect, I would highly recommend coming here.
Amazing! This was our first time coming here and will definitely be back, the truffle feta fries were to die for and I love that they bring out a pita starter before your meal. The shrimp was so flavorful on my salad and the lamb bayti was incredible! The staff was friendly and can’t wait to come back again and try more things on the menu!
Mezzeme restaurant is an interesting place to go to for a change in Austin. The food reminded me of what I had during a trip to Israel years ago. They offer a wide selection from the Mediterranean cuisine, including some drinks. It would be great if they can add more wine options. Price is relatively high compared to competition and to similar restaurants in other cities around the country. But my 4 stars is mainly for Lahmacun that was disappointing and nothing like what I had in other places; the rest of the food was great otherwise. I like to see this place grow and improve.
Turkish restaurants are hard to come by in Austin and MezzeMe knocks it out of the park. A big fan of their pita and hummus and doner was amazing! Even their chick me out with crazy rice was a hit. The Turkish pizza was ok but a little dry for me and the fried chicken was a little too fried and dry. I’ll stick with the authentic menu items and you will love it. It was a little crowded when we got there and they don’t take reservations so might be hard to get for bigger groups. Parking is a little hard to find. The service is great and I’ll highly recommend it.
I wish I could give this place ten stars. Me and my wife has been coming to this restaurant at least once a week for the past 1-2 years. My stomach is sensitive to outside food, but I have not got stomach aches from MezzeMe ever. They use healthy ingredients, and their food is delicious. Staff also 10/10. They are all friendly.
I absolutely love this place. The food is always amazing, healthy, and comes out quickly. Everyone that works here is so nice.
I would recommend this place to anyone that goes to the triangle.
Great place. Good Turkish food served with nice nice sides. Friendly manager/owner.
Love this food!, the falafel are delicious!!!, the service was great !!!!!
They have a lot of vegan and gluten free options!
Also the place is cool!
Mezze is a great example of Mediterranean-Turkish cuisine in Austin. The atmosphere, the food, and the desserts are outstanding. Employees are also extremely courteous. I would recommend it.
Wow this place is amazing! We came here for dinner and the atmosphere is great sitting on the patio. Food was hearty and good quality. Service was welcoming and fast.
