I have only eaten here maybe 3 or 4 times over the last 8 years...but I totally enjoy the food.. the service is alway good. They are some really nice people there.
I've never had a bad experience there. The biggest group I went with was 5 people. They were great. Love the happy hour. Never went with a large group. So I'm not sure how the service is with a much larger group.
wonderful service, good food and was very accommodating to our last minute large family group and let us enjoy happy hour in the 'big room'. :-)
We happen to hit this place up during their daily happy hour (4-7p), where prices Per sushi roll were $3-$4 each. Can't go wrong there! Lol. Plus we ordered about 6 various rolls, & they were all very good! I'll be back!!
I absolutely loved it when I was training in Austin! I'd drive the 4.5 hours just to say hi to our waitress and have some steak and apple sake!!
Absolutely everything that I have had here has been amazing! Best sushi I've ever had!
It's very goog the wifey and I loved it we are new in town We recommended
Love this place! Great food and great staff! Love their hibachi grill at dinner time!
Love the food, and they have a great staff! One of our favorite places!
Sushi is awesome. Cocktail and habachi are the best in the town.

One of our favorite spots every year we visit Austin..
We enjoyed a great meal and our server check in frequently and ensured our drinks were topped off! The edamame appetizer was tasty! all in all we had a great time!
Very attentive service and hibachi chef. Took good care of us and introduced our 4 year old to hibachi with a friendly style. Flavorful hibachi dishes and tasty sushi. Interior is a little dated but comfortable.
Sometimes you take a chance on a hibachi place and sometimes you draw the short straw. This was not one of those times! What a great dinner experience. First, big props to the server. Very attentive and took care of us. Food was on point! Sushi was fresh and hibachi entrees were cooked perfectly. I've been to tons of places like this and honestly they made the best fried rice I've had in years! If you go and the wait for a hibachi table is long, just get a regular table. I think you'll find it better and more efficient like we did. Good meal and service. Highly recommend!
We love dining here. The sushi is delicious, food is always great. Nothing fancy but very tasty. The cocktails are also yummy! Great food for the price.
Great experience, food was delicious, just remember anything, these days, that goes the extra mile, as they do, will be $$$$... As long as you are treated as great as this place serves you, you won't mind what it cost.... Of course I will return!
Update today we went back, added some photos today, Mother's Day.. same experience as the last time great food, wait staff, and drinks..
Long time customer here. Have had numerous large group happy hours with terrific service pre-COVID. Since then it's been hit or miss. That said, we are still patronizing, hoping they will get back on track.
Happy hour sushi specials are great! The majority of the time the sushi is quite tasty, but there are times we have been very disappointed. The serving sizes are impressive.
When dining with a small group, service has always been acceptable.
The hibachi meals have always had the proteins cooked well, with tasty vegetables, and very good fried rice.
The Chef serving us was an absolute joy to listen to and watch.
He used a rubber chicken as a rotisserie over the onion volcano he built 🤣
The servers were good at attending to our drinks and picking up the used dishes.
Overall, a very nice experience.
I highly recommend.
Sushi very good. Regular Menu meals a B score.
Place look dark and old. A nicer section with a live cook, very entertaining and fresh food cooked Infront of you with a touch of incredible moves....👨🍳. A suggestion to the restaurant is to discard chipped plates, cups. Was very disappointed to drink a nice hot green tea in a chipped tea cup and appetizer with delicious wonton with cream cheese served with nice dressing in a chipped bowl.🤦. Server should check before service.
Ordered Rainbow Roll, Shrimp&Avocado, also shrimp fried rice.
Some of the Best if not the freshest I've ever had! Amazing
My family and I went here on Halloween for my nephews 11th birthday. As he would say “10 out of 10 Gordon Ramsay would recommend”. We had to wait until our entire party was there to be seated and we had to sit with another party because it’s 8 to a grill. It was only 5 of us and 3 of them, but we enjoyed them and they enjoyed us. I’m sure if your party is more then you will have the entire grill.
The service was excellent! We had absolutely no complaints. We ordered drinks and the drinks was on point! Had us in there singing and laughing. They read our mind and bought us everything we needed before we even asked. The cooking of the food was great. My nephew was so amazed . And the cook gave us a show. The food was so good as well ! Yum yum sauce was too good! ( sweet creamy sauce) they also got a good hot Sauce.
We sung happy Birthday and bought our own cake. Then they surprised us and bought fried ice cream to the table . Which was on them. It was good as well.
The tip (18%) was already included in the bill, but we ended up tipping on top of that too because we enjoyed it so much and because the drinks were so strong.
Drinks (alcohol) were $9 each(all) and the meals were on average $24 dollars a person . That was for the ny strip steak or the chicken with shrimp(8 shrimps). You do get 2 shrimps with your meal already though. Along with onion soup, veggies, and a salad ( included). It comes with sticky white steamed rice and you can get habachi rice ( egg fried rice with vegetables) or noddles for $2.50 more. This is the Habachi meals by the way.
It’s was the best experience we’ve had yet so far and we’ve been to a lot a places here in Austin and San Antonio. This place was excellent!!!!!!!
Where to next ?!?!?!?
Place looks good, typical restaurant with tables. There are some tables with the Hibachi grills that of course offers a great meal with a fire spectacle. We ordered a couple of rolls and then asked the waiter for a recommendation and it was really really good!
Great service food was great. the only downfall was that we couldn't get the full menu and sit at the hibachi table for full experience. Had to sit at regular to order what one of guest wanted to order.
The happy hour menu has lots of options. The miso soup was warm with lots of seaweed and just the right ammount of salt. The tempura vegetables are cut thick with crisp batter. Edamame is on point and the sushi rolls do not disappoint. Hear the hibachi grill 😋 oooos and ahhhs make it really fun.
