Staff was very friendly. Ordered the bento box for lunch and you get a TON of food, including main dish, tempera, soup, and six sushi pieces. Location is convenient if you're in the Bee Cave area. Will probably become a regular here.

Sushi is to die for!. We ate a late lunch/early dinner here Saturday, April 20, 2013. We have a Japanese Sushi place where we live that we loved, until we ate here. We live 3 hours away, but next time we are in Austin this is a definite must! The sushi here is the best I have ever tried. We had a California Roll and a Golden California Roll. Also had the Salmon Bente Box and Chicken Fried Rice Bowl. I can't say enough about this place! The pricing is very comparable to other Japanese Sushi places we have visited.
Good food but over priced for a strip center! And don't sit in the corner because they tend to forget about you.
Great food, good service. We had lunch at Izumi and the food was great. The chicken terriyaki bento box was wonderful...lots of food. The service was OK. The staff was very pleasant, just not very organized.
I went to eat for lunch. Nothing special, but the food was okay.

They had a pretty tree painted on the wall and part of the ceiling. The food was yummy, but the service was slow. I recommend coming when you're not in a hurry.
Recently I visited Izumi Sushi in the Westlake Hills neighborhood of Austin, Texas for dinner at 6pm on a Wednesday.
The place was packed - I got the last table for two; although, by 7pm many of the customers had cleared out.
The menu is extensive and includes traditional sushi fare along with some specials, like the Longhorn roll.
The Longhorn roll containts Shrimp tempura, yamagobo, cucumber, spicy white fish, topped with tempura flakes, spicy mayo, eel sauce & masago and is actually shaped like the Texas Longhorns logo! Additionally, it is DELICIOUS. Definitely the highlight of the meal for me.
There is plenty of free parking in the shopping complex, which also includes the Westlake HEB, Chick-Fil-A and P Terry's.
Great place to have some sushi. They also have other Asian dishes.
Local favorite for take out or dine in. Nice selections of beers and wines with fresh selection of sashimi and sushi dishes. Fun combos with locally featured names. Amazing wine pours. Kiss The Fire comes out literally on fire.

Great little spot for some good Japanese food. The bento boxes are awesome, and they come with just a little bit of everything if you're undecided on what you'd like. It comes with some miso soup, gyoza, veggie tempura, a California roll, rice, and a protein. The Chicken Katsu and the Red Snapper Katsu are flavorful and very crispy. Their Avalanche sushi roll was also very good, and it has some jalapeño with a nice kick to it. They have a short selection of beer, but they offer stuff like Kirin Ichibon and Sapporo on draft. They're about as pricey as other sushi places, but their lunch specials have a nice discount, and they offer the same bento boxes and some sushi combinations. Definitely recommend this place for lunch or a nice quiet dinner.

To-go order: I ordered the Chicken Yakisoba lunch special online for pick up. The order was ready at the indicated pick up time. Staff were friendly. The flavor is stupendous. The noodles are light and bouncy and hold the sauce wonderfully. Loved the big chunks of red pepper and carrots. Definitely returning for lunch again.
I took my husband here for his birthday. It was my first time ever at a sushi restaurant, and I was not disappointed! Everything was absolutely delicious, and our waiter, I believe his name is Cody, was great. Very attentive and kind. We will definitely add this place to our date night rotation!
One of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Their food is superior, the atmosphere is cosy yet lively, they're reasonably priced, and our waiter, Alexander, I can't say enough about. He was above top notch...AWESOME!!! Every restaurant should have a waiter like him.
